@Silly_G There have already been sequels, they're just without the Pokémon. One of them was even a minigame in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

To be honest I'd rather just see a new entry be based on an actual Nintendo game IP, maybe even crossover of some sort (Super Smash Bros. Puzzle League, anyone?). The Pokémon anime has lost its touch and its vision for a long time now.

@link3710 My Life as a Teenage Robot didn't do so well when it aired, and that unfortunately hurts her chances compared to plenty of other Nick characters. Then again, Zim is in the game despite also in a state of great reception but low TV ratings.

@Rykdrew Since you're a fan of traditional fighting games but disliked Brawl and Brawlhalla, I doubt NASB will be any good for you, since the aforementioned games are excellent at what they're intended to do, while NASB is filled with jank that ruins its gameplay.

I think you're just not cut out for platform fighting games. No offense intended, it's just that your heart is set on traditional fighters, and that's okay. Continue playing those if that's what you prefer.

Kate seems really inconsistent on whether to count spinoffs or not. It doesn't make sense to use spinoffs for Kirby and Animal Crossing yet not do the same for Mario and Pokémon.

@fenlix Mind if you explain what your problem with the game is? Not sure what exactly you find wrong about "those AA 3D platformers".

@kirbysupremacy You do know The Show sells millions of copies right? And that many of those buyers consider the review score quite harsh?

Gaming isn't all about resolution and performance, there are other ways to push forward in gaming that people will enjoy and pay money for. Like a hybrid concept.

None of you have explained how the graphics bother you so much. What exactly constitutes a flash or mobile game for one?

@Specter_of-the_OLED Do you define Iwata solely by the Wii U and not the several hardware and software successes he's been behind? That's the mentality you hold.

@MsgBoardGamer NBA Live continued to be on the GameCube however. And Madden and FIFA did enough for EA to continue supporting the Nintendo platforms with those games (not to mention far more PS2's were sold). You should keep in mind that selling less than other platforms =/= selling poorly. Had the latter been the case then EA would've pulled support long before the Wii U.

@Menchi187 You sure have a phobia for motion controls. You ought to play ARMS; that game was well-received and not lauded.

@MsgBoardGamer On the contrary, sports games did just fine on the GameCube and Wii. If they didn't companies would stop releasing such games.

And how is Nintendo "behind the times"? What do you want, $60 charged online and mandatory installs?

@GravyThief Depends which football it is. If it's the NFL, the U.K. wouldn't buy such a game. But if it's the other football that involves FIFA, you can be sure that one would sell.
