The little Mac outfits are boding well for a wide variety of costume skins for characters. Not giving up hope for a Lucina costume for Marth.

I couldn't decide between the two Mega man and eventually went with the 3DS one. I should have went with the Wii U one since it's going head to head against Pink Mac™.

the monsters will become vulnerable only on your screen, which means that they can still damage your opponents!! This is one of the unique game features only possible in the 3DS version.

Wouldn't this work in the Wii U's online mode _{and in a local duel with one GamePad} too?

IDK if this is old news but the 3ds version is available to pre order from the official Nintendo store in the uk, there's the official box art and date confirmed as 3/10/14

6/8 are 3DS images... oh boy... I wish we'd hear/ see more on the Wii U version. I've almost lost all hype for this.

@ikki5 The 3DS version has only recently started getting more attention. Understandable since it's getting close to release. The Wii U version has been getting hype for the longest time; it's about time the 3DS version got some love!

6/8 was even the exact Wii U to 3DS ratio the vast majority of the time.

I am loving that pink nostalgia. And the yellow nostalgia. And the blue one.

I just voted for the Mii suit as everything else was meh.

I'm liking that they are adding in alt skins for characters. Definitely liking the fact that they added Little Mac's jump suit. I'm assuming this means that maybe Dr Mario might be an alt costume for Mario perhaps. I'm also hoping that perhaps we'll get to use the other versions of Megaman as his alt costumes. I'd love to be able to run around as X, Megaman Volnutt, or even Megaman.EXE.

@eviLaTtenDant If you're the one using the GamePad, maybe. If not, then no. With the 3DS, every player will always have their own screen, so things like this work.

Lil Mac is going to be my first main so I like that pic. But the Mega Man's are awesome.

All the Mega Man models really look awesome there! I don't really care much for Little Mac personally, but his alt is cool I guess.

God that Mega Man X looks awesome. Kind of cruel how much this makes me want a new Mega Man X game. I'm a lost puppy in the rain.

I swear Sakurai was hinting at those being alternate costumes for Mega Man. But... Trophies. I'm still not giving up hope.

@NavySpheal They could never be alternates. Megaman's moveset is taken directly from his specific games, it wouldn't work for them. Not to mention original Mega is way shorter than the other Megas. The hitboxes would be all messed up.

Unless you meant just a simple EXE-based recolor or something. Like Megaman cosplaying as another Megaman?

I'm loving the 3DS stuff I'm seeing. I'm glad that the Wii U will be getting exclusive stages as well.

Seeing those Smash Mega Man images makes me want Nintendo to purchase Capcom, or at least the Mega Man series, all the more.

lol, are you serious? So far everything announced is what the Wii U lacks compared to the 3DS. There has been nothing that has been announce for the Wii U that the 3DS doesn't have aside from that, aside from the E3 direct, the 3DS has gotten most of the screen time with the directs. The only reason why the Wii U got more screen time during E3 was because of the tournament. That's all, if it wasn't for that, they were about equal and then the Wii U with less in previous directs.

@ikki5 You know how the 3DS got its own trailer at the Digital Event? I'm pretty sure we'll get a similar trailer for the Wii U version showing off all the features for it. Probably at the next Nintendo Direct maybe?

That Pac-Maze stage is so banned....

I'm not even a Pac Man fan, and even I think Pac Man looks really cool in Smash Bros. Love the retro flair they gave him. And that Pac Maze looks awesome, it really does!

@SockoMario I know that it will be coming eventually... at least I hope but you would think they would already shown at least something the Wii U has that the 3DS doesn't but they haven't. I am just waiting for that and wanting to see because for the last few months, It's all been about the 3DS.

@ikki5 the Wii U use to get way more attention than the 3DS first. we only use to get one picture every now and then, but most of the news was for the Wii U version, Now they're focusing on the 3DS on more, It's only fair because that one releases earlier

@KeatonTS the Wii U got more attention....What attention are you talking about? Where is all this attention? Why is there so much stuff that the Wii U doesn't have that the 3DS does have? Ok yeah, the Wii U version got a tournament of the game but again, we learned nothing new from there. Right now, everything that has been told to us is about what the Wii U version is lacking compared to the 3DS. Aside from being told that the stages were more resemble the games on the system, the 3DS has EVERYTHING the Wii U version has plus more.Take a look at the past directs, even the direct that was solely based on Smash bros and you'll see just how much more was given to the 3DS. Yes I understand that something will be shown that is exclusive to the Wii U version but so far nothing has been said, Nothing at all in all these months of talking about the game.

Megaman.exe is amazing! Do we have skins for mega man? My first megaman game was Battle Network 4 so that is definitely my favourite screenshot.

I think we will get some Wii U exclusive content for Smash Bros. announced after the 3DS version is released.

@ikki5 The Wii U had more gameplay, screenshots, and it was featured more in directs and announcements, it got the gamecube controller reveal, and more of its stages were shown off more than the 3DS stages. The wii U version over shadowed the 3DS version, At that time, more people wanted the Wii U version because the 3DS version didn't get much attention. The type of attention I'm talking about is visibility. The fact that it's being seen and talked about. Now ever since the 3DS version had a mode exclusive for the 3DS, (Smash run) It began to get attention and gave details about the mode. Why? Because the 3DS version is almost complete in development so they want to advertise it as best as they can before releasing it. Especially since this is the first ever hand held smash bros

The Wii U version will most likely get extra modes as well. which will probably be better. I doubt they'll let the 3DS have all the fun stuff. They still have a lot of time left for announcing things for the Wii U, so let the 3DS version bask in the glory for now. It's just their way of giving information of two of the same games on different systems with (for the most part) different gameplay modes.

Looks like Sakurai took a look at sites like BrawlVault and saw fans wanted more alternate costumes rather than just simple color swaps.

For the first time in quite a while, I just couldn't pick one. Winners are Pac-Maze, the Mega Man X trophy, and Little Mac's pink alt.
