They do get notified when a post gets deleted. Usually a deletion means one more step towards a ban. We do not have many options as to an appeals system. The codes thing is the general Nintendo support number but they are slow and very unhelpful at times.
Many times they won't tell you what post it was only that it was taken down

It's about half and half as to whether you deserved it or not.

The biggest problem is not all the rules but that it's so easy to get banned because of how weirdly modded the service is.

Another big problem with it is that the "almighty" code of conduct is extremely vague. They keep interpreting them differently each time

I've gotten a post taken down and wasn't even told which one, nor was I given a reason. Again, I don't swear, I don't draw dirty pictures, I don't do any of that junk.

It was also made four months prior so I had no memory as to what it was

This is exactly what we've been trying to say is that the badmins will take down the most innocent posts and put people under massive scrutiny whereas users that draw phallic objects on the support zss go by freely. More people can see that on the miiverse stage.
They also change their minds about a post and take down ones that were ok 3 years ago.
If one realizes how bad a post is due to typos or errors and deletes it immediately, mods still write it down as a violation.

How does NLife moderate comments?

I would say to use bots to regulate text posts and to hand out alerts to either change the post or delete it.

I've been using miiversd for over a year and a half and getting false banned is more common than people realize. I follow the really popular users and they never drew anything wrong, such as Mario's cap yet the admins take it down, ban them and do not really allow for an appeal.
Yet we see in the Support ZSS community all these male wieners and yet they stay there just fine. So having good behavior isn't a foolproof tactic.
I'm rather unknown and I got taken down for innocent posts I made over a year ago.

There's a problem with what message Nintendo will get as to the sales of Federation Force. If everyone boycotts it and it sells poorly, Nintendo may shirk back and never touch Metroid again. On the other hand, if it sells well, Nintendo may green light more of these deformed side games for other dormant series like F-Zero.

Sure the similarity to wind waker is there but at least that was a main series game that hasn't been in a series on hiatus for forever.
Wind waker isn't some deformed looking side game. Majoras mask was released just a year before wind waker' announcement so at least then we knew the series was constant. It's been 5 years since other m, and as for f-zero it's been almost 11

As for amiibo, maybe stop making millions of stupid gold and silver amiibo and resume production of the rare ones

Well those games shouldn't be too hard to have some backwards compatibility, Mk8 and SSB don't really use the ganepad so those games could probably have virtual downloads available at the very least. Not sure about splatoon. Maybe the classic controller Wii concoction

I've always wondered how Nintendo would do if they ignored "innovation" and just focused on raw horsepower. SNES was technologically superior except for processing, and GameCube was moderately successful compared with the WiiU

The problem is think is that those game series haven't been dormant for so long. Everyone knows Pokemon comes out constantly and therefore people were ok with the spinoff. Metroid on the other hand has not had a game come out for a long time (longer if you think other m was not good)

Here's an odd thing though, next level games already has cool concept art for a Metroid title. Why pour resources into this instead of making a traditional Metroid?

The biggest problem is that there are plenty of bigger games to show besides animal party and animal real estate. I'm certain Devils third could be this year's bayonetta
