Just rang Nintendo support Australia. No change in their policy yet. I have two sets.

They have both been stuffed for over a year. No matter how many times you try and clean and re-callibrate it just gets worse over time. Poor design.
I've had Nintendo's for thirty years . Worst controller yet for durability, Even worse than 64 floppy sticks.

My original launch joy cons I bought on day one. Started drifting after two months. And it's been a constant battle. They also often disconnect from switch in portable mode and have trouble connecting to switch when split in tv mode. Also the shoulder L and R buttons barely work. Cutest and least durable Nintendo controller ever.

The standards that are present or not present in Japanese gaming culture are out of step with current western ideals. It will be a PR disaster for Nintendo if the outrage brigade gets a hold of it.

Would help if they had made a decent game since 1991.

It needs to be backwards compatible with original switch docks. For charging and tv play

I know what your saying about release dates. But there aren't really any rules just a designer or two thinking it would be fun. Also they were in co-development for at least 2 years before 64 was released. Ocarina was finalised within 8 months of m64 being released. You could also say that this release date disparity is a strong argument for the subtlety of the egg.

@Tyranexx what are the chances of this being a co-incidence really? One in million. ? Billion? Seriously you think it's more likely to be a random coincidence then a subtle painting Easter egg. Of which these development teams loved deploying. Ie Hyrule castle Mario pictures

@Anri02 ok, I disagree. I feel it is a strong connection. It would be infinitely improbable to be a random coincidence. Especially considering the relevant stars are yellow compared to the other white ones.

@Wanjia definite Easter egg. There are hidden Luigi ,mario and Bowser pictures in ocarina Hyrule castle. They were in development at the same time, both supervised and produced by Miyamoto. And both are his IP babies

There are pictures of Mario, Luigi and Bowser in a window in ocarina. Can't believe it took this long to find it. Love it

I think they are part of a greater cultural problem. I think games have gone too far. It cannot be good for children.

Sich a great game. Absolutely loved it. Have it still for my original snes.

The ability to get a refund after somethung 60 minutes of gameplay should be implemented. Would slow all this shovelware getting released.

The only announcement of anew game was tennis.
That game is going the wreck my fragile joycon sticks , just like the orignal did to the64 pads

@ThanosReXXX the switch has been out for 10 months. We've been waiting a long time for some of this basic functionality. Surely nintendo are listening to some degree
