I never owned X, just rented it and thought while it was very impressive to look at, it got old quickly. GX was on an entirely different level. Not only was it visually the best looking racer during that Era, it also had the best gameplay. Like others have said GX still hold up to this day, especially when in 4K.

Back in the day this game being 60fps seemed like black magic. I think it might have been the only 60fps console game that existed in that generation.

Sure the art style differs, but I think it still looks great.

I will never understand why someone would blow so much money on something like this.

I'm super pumped for this thing. It looks vastly more comfortable to hold than the Switch does, and the buttons and sticks aren't made for a tiny person. It can also play every Nintendo 64 game for free, no subscription required. Win, win, win!

Frame rate is the most important thing to me, but art is also very important. As long as a game looks fun and has good looking animations I'll give it a try. Jank animations is usually a deal breaker for me.

This reminds me of that time Xbox told people to “‘deal with it” for DRM. People did not take kindly to that.

Day 1 for me. Always wanted a Kirby game like this since the 64.

It looks so fun, I sure hope it plays as good as it looks. Could be one of the best Switch games next to the big games like BOTW and Odyssey.

I want an open world adventure but not like a regular ol car game, like NFS or whatever, that would be super boring. I want an open world like Diddy Kong Racing but much larger and more complex of course. I don't want all the courses to all be mixed in an open world that would look very odd, or just be very plain. A mix of a big map with door ways that load tracks would work the best.

I think if Nintendo 64 games were 60 fps they would have aged much better. The main issue with a lot of them is that they're only 20fps...

I never knew a single person with a Kinect, and every one I knew had a 360.

I think even with Pokemon Sega would have failed at the hardware business and Nintendo would barely be any different from what it is today.

I bought a Wave Race 64 and Extreme-G box for $10 not long ago.

Yeah I went with black, never liked how the purple looked. All of my friends also had black. Smart choice to push for black and silver. I also can't disagree that purple is girly.

I was definitely blown away when I first saw Rogue Squadron 2 on the GC. So happy that I never sold my original copy of it. Just a shame it was never remastered.

It's big for sure, but people are being a little dramatic I think lol.

@PALversusNTSC I'm guessing you haven't seen all the issues yet? People are complaining for very good reasons. Wanting full price for unfinished products is just plain wrong. Not saying you shouldn't find some enjoyment. But you should expect better for your money. Being a sucker doesn't just hurt you.
