Well…….I’ve got mixed feelings about this. There are a lot of games you can make mods with….let’s mention Half-Life, for example. I’ve made a mod with HL. However you gotta read the fine print.

In my case you can make a mod, but you cannot profit from making a mod. You can always upload it to a site like moddb. And let people have fun playing it.

It’s Nintendo’s intellectual property towards the end. I don’t understand how this developer made a great mod, personally I would play this game, for sure, he sounds as smart as anyone can be, without “reading or knowing” the fine print. 👍🏼

I don’t know. I wish the original gameboy games aged better. I also wish that we could get a console of some type where we can play the very best of the GBC + GBA. I’d like to play some games I never really gotten a chance to play back in the day. Now that would be fun!!

A lot of people are mixing up a lot of things from the article. There’s a lot of misconceptions that I read in the comments.

First, it appears that he got rejected from certain game development communities just because of his race.

Second, going in a public way give a good message to young black developers to never give up. That’s not a bad message!!

It’s not about a race issue is how I see it. It’s about.....inclusion. Would you guess how many places I applied as a game developer, and was rejected or given the corporate runaround?? Or had hired someone else instead of me?? It’s happened a lot.

So much so that I’m thinking of making my own team in the future if the opportunity and circumstance allows.

I’m not sure. Usually in fighting games I like to corner the opponent and perform a crazy combo. (Is that cheezing??). I find I can always get about 15% more damage that way.

Let’s see....in NBA Jam, I can always get away with a 3 pointer if it happens I have no opponent guarding me. I guess that’s cheezing. But sometimes when I’m ahead like by 10 points in the game, and then there’s one second left, everyone has given up, I like to dunk the basketball.

Hmm, I heard a lot about Dark Souls. I’m sure it’s justified in that game, with the insane difficulties that it has.

Either way, the game pass idea is quite a phenomenal Idea it took off well. I hope Microsoft does some sort of collaboration with Nintendo in that regard.
