Publisher Perp Games has made the decision to push the release date of the first-person horror title MADiSON on Switch to allow for additional polish.
While the game will be available on other platforms on July 8th, the Switch version will now launch on July 29th. Physical copies of the game — known as the 'Possessed Edition — will be available at retail one month later on August 26th.
We recently previewed the title for Switch, confirming that while the game certainly feels familiar if you a fan of games like Amnesia, Layers of Fear, and Outlast, it does enough different to potentially warrant checking out. We'll hopefully have a full review of the title in the coming weeks.

I enjoy the horror genre and wouldn't be opposed to another walking simulator. This looks a bit better than Layers of Fear.
It seems to have received medium to high reviews.
I could not stand Layers of Fear even though I thought I’d love it. I loved Outlast and enjoyed Amnesia a little bit; I didn’t love the latter but it was fun.
Hoping Madison can fill the void Layers left as it seems like it has more to it than just random jump scares/going though the motions. Layers of Fear felt like a video game haunted house and was not engaging at all (unless of course it starts to pick up after the 30 minutes I tried.)
Not bashing Team Bloober, I just didn’t care for the first Layers.
I just want Madison to be a meaningful game. Layers of Fear was good for a gameplay, but I didn’t want to go back to it ever after I finished the game.
