Re: Nintendo Download: 1st May (Europe)

Well I'll be damned. They finally have decided to release Cave Story!
Definite purchase, although I do feel like slapping everyone at Nicalis for taking an unnessary long time at releasing the game.

Forgot about Etrian Odyssey, will get that too (retail version though).
Denpa Dudes, and that bizarre Conception II demoes round out a good week for me.

Re: Hardware Classics: Sega Saturn

hugs copies of Panzer Dragoon Saga and Radiant Silvergun
I don't want to sell them, but I will have to sometime.

The one game I always wanted to play on the Saturn was Dragon Force. That game looked pretty awesome.

Re: Feature: Lifting the Curtain on Game Ratings and the Headache of Worldwide Releases

@Nintendolife

So you discussed the issue of releasing (or not releasing, in some cases) with some of the game devs/publishers, but is there any chance you could ask for an interview with PEGI and OFLC why they feel their practices are - apparently - more appropriate than ESRB?

It would be interesting to read their perspective on why the process is designed to be more difficult and why they have to abide by it.
Frustrating, as it doesn't seem to offer any favours for us EU and AUS gamers.

Tah, very much.

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th August (Europe)

LittleFuryThing

That Cave Story + release isn't going to happen is it?
It was, apparently, 'on the way' since March. Honestly, what is the problem with releasing that game?

Anyway, kind of looking forward to a quiet spell for downloads, what with Etrian Odyssey IV coming up and Inazuma Eleven 3 at the end of September.

Re: Ghostlight Opens European Pre-Orders For Devil Survivor 2

LittleFuryThing

Sorry but I imported this game ages ago when it seemed certain that it wasn't going to be released in EU. Seems very late now and I have no need to buy the game a second time.

If Atlus had a setup where their games could be released without a year or more of waiting then it would be different. They make and publish great games but they are an abysmal publisher for the rest of the world. They seem to make it difficult on purpose.

Re: Nintendo Releases Updated Global Release Schedule

LittleFuryThing

I can only view the Japanese upcoming 3DS game releases with complete envy.

Gutted that Code of Princess doesn't even seem to be considered for EU release anytime soon - really wanted to play that one.

SMT:DSO, Virtues Last Reward, and Paper Mario are at least guaranteed purchases for me this year.
Hopefully there will be some nice eShop treats until the next batch of upcoming
games are released.

Re: Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Helped to Save NES

LittleFuryThing

Only game I remember seeing that was more expensive than SSF2 was Virtua Racing on the Megadrive - that was like £75.00 or something near to it. I thought that was crazy but that was nothing compared to Neo Geo game prices.

Didn't play this version of Turtles but the sequel was pretty fun with a second player.

Re: Site News: James Finds a Warp Zone

LittleFuryThing

But how is your SEGA side reacting to this? Can't be too good.

Seriously though, this seems like an excellent opportunity that most would be envious of. Hopefully it will be awesome. I'm sure Damien will make a suitable replacement and things will be just peachy.

Good luck to both of you. (b'_')b

Re: Review: Inazuma Eleven 2 Firestorm (DS)

LittleFuryThing

If it wasn't for KI: Uprising, I would have finished the Firestorm game by now and onto the Blizzard version.

Finding it just as enjoyable and fun as the first Inazuma Eleven and the plot is delightfully daft. Fair point about the random battles, sometimes nothing happens for awhile, and other times it's step-battle-step-battle etc...

I hope the game does well so we can get the final DS instalment (even if it will take awhile).

Re: Two Code of Princess Trailers Fight to the Fore

LittleFuryThing

I love Guardian Heroes (still got my Saturn to play that game ), so it seems certain that I will like this game... a lot.

I hope there is a publisher in EU that is interested in releasing the game here. Just found some info that Ghostlight are now licensed 3DS game publishers so maybe they might take it on (and other future projects).

Re: Fire Emblem 3DS Europe-Bound in 2012

LittleFuryThing

This is great.
Thanks to the Ambassador thingie, I got a chance to play a Fire Emblem game for the first time - was interested in past games, but never got round to trying any out. It won me over.

Really looking forward to this.
