Started Call of Juarez: Gunslinger on my Switch last night... It's so funny how these older-gen titles have 1000x more spirit and character than today's games!!
After enjoying my 1st two games ever in this series (Atelier Ryza 1 & 2) on my Switch Lite, I preordered Sophie 2 on Steam. Looking forward to the review and hopefully it's as enjoyable even without the faster style combat.
Didn't read the article to avoid spoilers, but did some quick searching... and ordered a physical copy! Thank you for bringing this game to my attention as I had never played it before
@Mr_Persona I think it's the most unique Switch so far. Looks almost like a toy which is why I like it so much haha. I see the Monster Hunter Rise one available for preorder everywhere but I think the design is just alright.
I think he is referring to the 'New' 3DS where only a handful of games were 'exclusive' to the newer version. The majority of games ran the same on all models.
@BenAV Yeah I need to start earning more miles again.. 900!!! You guys are crazy lol. This is my first Animal Crossing game so I'm taking it slow just playing 1-2 hours a day. Currently trying to pay off the 98k (need about 50k more) by selling bugs and fish I have already donated.
@frogopus I think I only have access to 4 rocks at the moment. Possibly the other 2 are on higher land so need a ladder which I don't have yet. But thanks for the trick!
I just need some iron nuggets!! Currently getting around 6 per day maybe? And I used my miles for better tools + inventory upgrade. They seriously need to increase drop rates from the stones or give us an alternative way. Iron is also needed to craft better tools.. ;/
Edit: I agree about the eggs. They are fine but I don't like them and they are interfering with fishing etc..
Hopefully they work this out and allow them to close their stores. I realise that a lot of people want to go in on release day and get their hands on the game. which poses a significant health risk when there are queues of people waiting to be served.
Please just order it online if you want a physical copy, or get it digitally which will be delivered to you ALMOST INSTANTLY from the likes of CDkeys and Shopto.
I have fond memories of playing on the N64 with my brother and cousins. The wrestling games and Mario Party especially.
The PS1 had more games though and was cheaper overall due to the availability of knock-off cds back in the day, where games were about 3 pounds each! N64 games were official + full price.
Astral Chain. I started on Switch Lite but then 'switched' back to the original Switch and playing it docked with a Pro Controller. Much better this way as this game is better suited for bigger screens.
Game is good, not the very best action game, as the pacing is an issue for me. I'm at File 10 so almost at the end.

Great news! Looking forward to it as I bought this recently but haven't started it yet.
Re: CD Projekt Red Showcases Witcher 3 Free Netflix DLC Update, Out December 14th
Is there any confirmation that there is cross save between Switch and Consoles now? Or is it still Switch and PC only?
Re: Nintendo Launches Huge Black Friday eShop Sale, Up To 75% Off Switch Games (UK)
I'm thinking about getting Witcher 3 and Skyrim, even though I own those on other consoles. And maybe Snowrunner too.
Re: Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Gets A Fresh Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
I recently got into the series and beat 1,2 and the iX titles. Looking forward to this one soon.
Gunvolt 1 and 2 are highly recommended!

Re: Video: SUDA51 On No More Heroes And The Future Of Travis Touchdown
Played it and beat it. Not an amazing game but a very memorable one with so many great and crazy moments. Would love to see No More Heroes 4 one day!!
Re: Soapbox: Monster Hunter Rise Is The Perfect Hybrid Game
I agree, the best part about this game is the jump in / jump out mission design. 10 minutes per hunt is perfect!
I actually bought a new switch to play it docked, but honestly I have been playing it mostly in handheld and have been having a blast

DQ11s on Switch, FFXIV on PC
Re: Review: Bravely Default II - An Excellent Old-School JRPG That's Happy To Play It Safe
How bad is the grinding on casual difficulty? I am interested but constant grinding makes me lose interest really fast to be honest @SwitchVogel
And thank you for the review!
Re: Rumour: 'Switch Pro' Console Still Aiming For 2021 Launch, According To Known Insider
@Mr_Persona the blue holder with red joycons is the best thing about the package 100%. If you can get them for a good price, go for it!

I really want that red and blue switch. Maybe it's best to wait at this point.. Especially since scalpers got a hold of all of them!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Switch.
Final Fantasy 12 on Xbox.
Re: Hands On: We've Played Bravely Default II On Switch, And Here's What We Think So Far
I'm definitely interested. I just hope it's not too grindy on the casual difficulty.
Re: Review: Persona 5 Strikers - Much More Than Your Average Musou Spin-Off
@PJOReilly Thank you! Switch version it is
Re: Review: Persona 5 Strikers - Much More Than Your Average Musou Spin-Off
@PJOReilly I want to get this for my Switch Lite rather than PS4 because I think playing in handheld will be perfect for the dialogue heavy segments.
Will the smaller screen size of the Lite be fine for the battles though?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 6th)
Atelier Ryza 1 on my Switch Lite. So far so good! Although had to use google for a few things every now and then.
Hoping to beat it soon and move on to the new and improved Atelier Ryza 2
Re: Review: Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy - The Best Game In The Series To Date
I want to get this for my Switch lite rather than PS4.
Is it better to play the first game or just watch a summary on youtube?
Mechanics and overall gameplay seem to be heavily imrpoved in this sequel, so I'm not sure about playing the first one.
Re: Soapbox: Grinding Is Poor Gameplay Design That Doesn’t Respect Your Time
I hate grinding in any game. It severly impacts the enjoyment for me personally!

How is Granblue Versus for those who have played it? The price rarely drops, and it seems to be light on content with lots of dlc ;/

Just started this last night on my switch lite. Great game so far with some very good voice acting too!
