@GuSilverFlame you're right, a lot of stuff in west is cut n paste and that's why i love Nintendo and their creativity but they still seem to struggle keeping up with the times

No offence, but I fear Nintendo is just too Japanese for their stuff to be successful in the west. The seem to be outta touch. Vitality sensor...did anyone want that?! I have worries....

I wish they would do their own Gamefly style download program where you download and can continue playing a game for X number of days unless you renew it.
My concerns about all these new ideas is are they knee jerk reactions that will be stupid and watered down, or won't see light of day til mid 2015...

@JaxonH No no, I'm well aware how much games cost and this will no doubt be a great game, but given the Wii U's "situation" having their games be cheaper than those of the PS4 and Xbone would be a good decision. Obviously what I want to pay and what the price will actually be will be drastically different but one can dream...

Looks so good, can't wait. That said, the speed run thing seems to be N's go to thing -Mario, Rayman, god knows what else. Not my cup of tea speed runs, but doesn't hurt either. What's the price on this? I feel wii u sweet spot should be 39.99 personally...

Trouble is, these publishers set their expectations so high that if a game only sells modestly they abandon the game or the platform. Thus, WiiU is SOL =/

@Yorumi of course it's possible, my issue is really Nintendo isn't going to reel in the typical hardheaded ps3/xbox gamer using MK8. So really comparing the Numbers annoys me because Nintendo is really running its own race.

I'm reading a lot about MK8 helping WiiU sales. I have my doubts, I don't know any PS/xbox gamers that ever talk about or that give two s#!ts about mario kart. =/

I thought Miiverse to be a bit mehhh, until I was stumped in WWHD and put a post out on Miiverse. People responded quickly to help me and none if it was snarky and trolling! (IGN comments section anyone?)
So I'm not a huge user of it but I'm a fan for sure!

Though my son is only six, Ocarina 3D has held him like no other. (mind u i don't think he has a bloody clue what the ultimate goal or task he needs to complete is on it) I agree, a long game for the sake of being long is pointless. Keep us coming back long after it's left the commercial spotlight!

Best thing N can do is simply advertise it as being FUN and not try to go toe to toe with the other two. It's difficult, but we need to not compare Wii U sales against 4 & One

It's a great console for families. The "hardcore" may shun it and of course it won't sell like the others, but it is a good console. Just not a record breaker...

I absolutely LOVE the 2nd screen. Theres no going back in my opinion, I think the gamepad is great. Not used to full potential yet tho...

Still on WWHD. No new games until my son gets Skylanders SF, and hopefully fingers crossed my wife gets me SM3DW! (gods know i've been dropping hints like theres no tomorrow)

Honestly, anyone who is open minded and not a droid can see Wii U is a console worth owning. Its not perfect, but is by no means a "dud." Its all about who you ask.

@rjejr HA! I've actually got a lil girl on the way. Her soon to be bedroom already has a few Zelda pics hung up so I'm gonna start her off right.
When the kids want games for xmas, I benefit as well! Haha =P

Can't wait for this one tho prob after xmas. Money is tight Skylanders was my son's game of choice from the fat man this year. He and my wife weren't keen on NSMBU probably because it was so close to the previous Wii iteration which we played to death. Glad to hear a good time was had playing this with the family.

Meh... I'm a minority but I'm not right bothered about Galaxy. I don't like the sense of isolation that comes with Space.
