After tninking about this like all day, i'm fine with it. It will spare us the cheesy scripted bs dog n pony show and allow Nintendo to get straight to what they want to show. They're just cutting out the fat.

@JSuede i get what you're saying but there wasn't a demand for smaller red Wii's. That worried me thst theu're outta touch with consumers. I am ABSOLUTELY keeping my fingers crossed that Wii U will get same games as next gen but i have my doubts. Look at BO2 dlc, they don't think Wii U is worth time/effort. Same with Battlefield. I don't want it to turn into a fps box but 3rd party is crucial. You've got a wii u with loads of mario games but your friend as the new GTA whatever. Nintendo will lose that way. They need both and you're right, 3rd parties need some 1 on 1 time and coaxing...

They waste money doing poop like Wii mini and stuff. The answer for wii u success is 3rd parties. We already know 1st party will be great but its not enough

I think an indie friendly eshop will be key. If Wii U isn't going to hold a candle graphically to ps4, then they need to be THE system for great indie games & devs.

I think this sounds awesome. Looking forward to this port or not!

My concern is they release ports to Wii U wayyy after they already came out on PS360 and then may complain because it didn't sell well on Wii U. Then use that as their basis for not developing for the platform. =/

Nfc can't feel forced though. Skylanders was new and original so it was cool. If every game starts suggesting we buy figures or cards or whatever, its gonna get old. That said, I'm also intriged to see what Nintendo can come up with.

I like the fact Nintendo tries to fully polish their games before release. Thats how it should be! Other developers should take note.

Trouble is game companies have to have every Fing game be a "blockbuster" or else they call it a flop. Its bs and sad times for gamers because creativity is being thrown away for a quick dollar instead...

Tough to say i mean Sony has made a lot of lofty promises about PS3 and Vita in the past and they barely held water. Grapics will be great of course but I'm honestly fine with graphics from current gen. It all comes down to future 3rdparty support and marketing. Nintendo needs to step it up! Be creative but also get with the times on tech! the wii kid fan base is growing up! I have my worries but keeping fingers crossed....

I'm excited this is coming to Wii U, but I'm worried about it being severly underpowered now. So much so we may not even get watered down ports. =/

Well at least ubi is giving us some dlc love, unlike blops2!
