Re: Blizzard Outlines Plans To Rename Popular Overwatch Character

This comment section is the reason why this stuff just shouldn't be the topic of articles on this site. We can seek this out on our own if really want to find out. It's just better to stick to game announcements, reviews, and fluff pieces for when there aren't any games to announce or review. Basically stuff that is trivial and any arguments about them will be trivial. Nintendo life really should stick to the basics. Not because I think the staff is dumb, just avoids any legitimate unpleasantness.

Re: Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Arrives Later This Month On Switch

@KayFiOS We were having a calm conversation. I wasn't yelling. Why did feel the need to escalate? There was a better way to present your points but you resorted to personal insults about my intelligence and ability to form opinions. I sense you really like the game and that's fine. You don't need my permission to like it. But I would appreciate it if we could could be civil.

Re: Rumour: Is Prince Of Persia Remake Coming To Switch? Well, It's Complicated

@DanTee I only bought the Switch because it's the only current portable console out there to my knowledge. I don't care about the vast majority of first party titles. The only first party title I have, if it even really counts as one, is Cadence of Hyrule. The Switch is underpowered for what it could be. Portability will always bring concessions I understand, but when games that have purposefully "retro" graphics still struggle on your console that's a problem in my eyes. Nintendo has a recent history of underpowered consoles that turn developers off.

Re: Critical Patch For The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse Delayed Until Next Week

I know this is going to come off as mean, but Golden Week sounds like an ill advised idea. A week and almost a half is a long time for a company to basically shut down completely when you have games that need attention. You can't always catch every bug, glitch, etc. before launch which is why day 1 patches are important. I think it's poor customer service and sends a frustrating message to developers when they make problems right immediately but the company doesn't allow them to deliver. The problem I have with Nintendo specifically is that they are already slow when they operate normally to allow developers to push minor patches and hotfixes out. I'm just frustrated because this is also affecting a critical patch for Enter the Gungeon that was already submitted two weeks ago. I just think this is a bad message to send people that you're taking ten days off without cleaning some things up first.
