Reggie Fils-Aimé To Talk Memes With Geoff Keighley In Bonus Audiobook Content

Reggie Fils-Aimé's upcoming book, Disrupting the Game: From the Bronx to the Top of Nintendo, is only a few weeks away, and we're excited to read about the story of Nintendo, and gaming's, most well-known President.

To say Reggie has inspired thousands is an understatement. He invigorated Nintendo and brought many new eyes and faces into gaming, as new fans picked up controllers or developers, publishers, QA testers, etc. joined the industry because of his work. Many of us wouldn't love Nintendo games as much as we do without his enthusiasm. He's also got a pretty darn good legacy of memes behind him, and we've been wondering whether the book will cover any of these.

Well, we've got some potentially good news for you! In the lead-up to the book's release, the Reggienator — who is also narrating the audiobook himself — has revealed that he and The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest presenter Geoff Keighley got together for a chat, which will be included with the audiobook as bonus content.

This chat should reveal some industry secrets and information about the pair's friendship over the years as they exchange industry stories. In the intro, which Reggie shared in the above Tweet, he warmly introduces Geoff while the two settle into some friendly chatter before the subject of memes very briefly comes up at the end of the clip.

Oh, come on, you tease! How could you dangle the carrot in front of us like that? Well, we suppose that's marketing for you. We have to know what memes the pair will discuss because there are too many iconic ones. We're sure there are plenty of tales to go with these, and we only have until 3rd May to find out — or 9th June for us in the UK.
