They’d be crazy if they didn’t make a sequel for this one. Definitely one of the best games of the entire franchise.

I have this for PS5- unless it’s absolutely rock solid for Switch 2, I have very little reason to get this version.

I remember some of these games from back in the day but the question remains- were any of them actually good?

I hope they are able to patch this one up a bit. Definitely hope to check this one out sometime.

Played the demo a couple weeks ago. Pretty damn good so far. Hope the full game is as exciting and challenging if not more so!

I like his German and Japanese voice. The latter makes him sound like a beloved Akira Kurosawa alumni and the former makes me think of my dad when he wants to sound silly. The English VO sounds too robotic to me.

Happy to hear we are getting more goodies for this game. Just finished the base game the other day and had a ball!

Expected more but I was still happy with what I saw. Looking forward to the next big Nintendo Direct.

The first game and its music were absolutely sublime; can’t wait to pick this one up as well. Absolutely phenomenal marriage of sight and sound with this series!

As a side note does anyone miss when Nintendo developed separate systems and games independently? Don’t get me wrong- Switch 1 and 2 are killer systems but I miss having the variety the 3DS/DS,GBA and various home consoles provided.

Biohazard gets a 9/10 because I love how it went back to its survival horror roots, loved the atmosphere and genuinely tragic story of the Bakers and subtle homages to vintage horror films of the 80s. Village is a solid 9/10, as well for its nods to Universal Monsters of the 1930s, killer world design and memorable boss battles. (Ethan Winters’ story made me weep a bit especially since I’m a father myself; knowing I would do anything for my own daughter!) Requiem gets a 10/10 from me, with the somber story and harrowing sense of dread in Grace’s segments and the cathartic over the top lunacies housed within Leon’s sections.

Hope there’s some story and weapons DLC bits coming out for this and another spin on mercenaries mode on the way.

Really hopeful RE10 can keep up the momentum if we are able to get yet another chapter to this enduring franchise!

Really hopeful they add more patches to this release. I remember the PS5 version had some bugs for a while but they finally fixed most of them and it turned out to be a great game afterward. Fingers crossed.

@metaphysician I’m from Germany- we are known to be quite brutal with our bluntness BUT we can be affectionate and mindful of other’s feelings as well of course. We despise bullies and rude sorts though. I can understand where you’re coming from but I think what I’m trying to say is “be kind but don’t be afraid to have fun as well…” or something to that effect?

I have this on my PS5 and Switch 2. They’re brilliant on each system.

Censorship is the worst; let people express themselves as they like! (Just don’t be jerks to one another!)

It would be kinda cool to wait a month or two AFTER the game is released before publishing articles like this. Some of us like to finish our games and unlock goodies without a guide, y’know. Elements of surprise and all that?

Already an hour in Requiem and loving every minute of it so far.

@Rodygringo give yourself time with Fallout. It’s a bit slow to start but once you get the hang of the progression trees and gather enough resources/weapons and parts, you’ll love it! I really liked the story in this one and the supporting characters as well. I’m still exploring and learning as much as possible in the game and I’m enamored with it more and more. I agree with you though- CYBERPUNK 2077 is absolutely terrific in every way.

More Yakuza ports to the switch 2 library, please! Absolutely love this series to bits!

I’ll wait for a sale but I’m glad this is performing so well on my favorite console!

The music to these games are just magical to hear again, after all these years. I feel a flood of frisson wash over me after listening to these retro bits!

I just hope it will be worth the wait; game preservation is essential and while I would love to play this remake, I also wish to try the original in all its glory as intended.

So pleased to see this game getting such strong reviews; really excited to immerse myself in this game’s world and see some familiar characters unravel another shadowy conspiracy, once again.
