This type of game where you switch between characters a la Lost Vikings is extremely tedious. To each their own i guess but I hate that gameplay mechanic personally.
Tbh I thought that in between bigger game releases we would be getting Wii/GameCube/WiiU games ported to fill up dry spells. And I thought that most of these would be less then full priced Switch games
@carlos82 agreed. It comes across as extremely greedy. And then there is the issues of creating limited timed content creating FOMO and faulty joycons.
@Justifier but they do charge more than the rest to license games on their system. And there is something going on with what they charge for large cartridge sizes. Because of this, cartridges do not contain the full game
@RupeeClock ya but you still had to buy a 2nd pair at full price when you already had a set. That's not right at all and Nintendo is making extra sales from situations like yours
How many of these have been ported to switch so far? I feel like even though the WiiU failed, Nintendo has made up from the software being ported from it
We also need written Reviews, new categories such as budget titles, games you might like, or even a functioning eshop on the switch that loads more than one page at a time
@Clyde_Radcliffe this pretty much sums it up.
Also this is just a Nintendo bandaid that doesn't fix the eshop problem. Also 1.99 is the new 0.09 now lmao
Horace seems good so far. I have an issue with the zooming in of the pixels. It weirdly gives me an uncomfortable feeling which takes me out of the game.

Re: Talking Point: The Problem With The X Button
@foobarbaz Agreed!
I will also add that using A to confirm and B to cancel on Switch is absolutely unnatural and awkward

Re: Nintendo Shares Release Schedule For 2021 And Beyond, And It's Looking Pretty Bare
Quick!
"Remaster" more WiiU games at full price!
And if we have to, make them limited timed releases
Re: Mini Review: Disjunction - A Fine-Looking Homage To Konami's Classic Metal Gear Titles

Re: Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gets A Quiet Re-Release On Switch, But With An Important Difference
@RasandeRose yes but Nintendo is free to charge more than all of the rest because of no handheld competition
Re: Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gets A Quiet Re-Release On Switch, But With An Important Difference
@carlos82 because there is no competition. Nintendo has a monopoly on the whole handheld scene and can charge 3rd parties whatever they want

Re: Review: Cyber Shadow - A Blisteringly Brilliant Action Platformer
10 hour indie game seen as a negative.
Wonders if reviewer is on drugs.
😳
Re: Super Mario 3D World's Platforming Will Be "Snappier" On Switch, Gyro Support Included
Maybe they should update the WiiU version's Speed as well?
Re: Feature: Best Kirby Games Of All Time
A collection that doesn't remaster the originals shouldn't be on the list.
The 3d version should be higher than the original.
But everything else is good. It's actually impressive the amount of Kirby games released

Awesome news for an awesome game!
Re: Here's A Closer Look At Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night's Classic Mode Update
@Orpheus79V ya I guess, I just thought they would have used some sort of screen filtering or something similar to dead cells
Re: Here's A Closer Look At Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night's Classic Mode Update
So.. classic mode does not use 8-32bit pixel graphics? Missed opportunity
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Joins Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 As A New Playable Character
I'll never understand why these puzzle games always have the worst sounding character voices.
But the game still looks like fun tbh

Re: Feature: Dicey Dungeons' Terry Cavanagh And Chipzel On Inspirations, Characters, And The Crystal Maze
Really digging dicey dungeons so far on Steam.
How does it control on switch? Can you use the dpad?
Also I'm personally not a fan of super hexagon
Re: Random: Artist Draws Smash Bros. Characters In The Style Of Cuphead
Amazing!
I always thought a new 2d Mario in a cartoony style like Rayman or the Super Mario Cartoon WOD be awesome

Re: Nintendo Issues Mass DMCA Takedown, 379 Fan-Made Games Forcibly Removed
@Mr-Fuggles777 that's a good point. I never thought of that
Re: Nintendo Issues Mass DMCA Takedown, 379 Fan-Made Games Forcibly Removed
@nessisonett I 100% agree
Re: Nintendo Issues Mass DMCA Takedown, 379 Fan-Made Games Forcibly Removed
Some of these do Mario better than Nintendo.
Re: Nintendo Issues Mass DMCA Takedown, 379 Fan-Made Games Forcibly Removed
@nessisonett but that revenue pays for the website which ends up keeping the game online and free
Re: Mario Kart Tour Gets A New Year Update With RMX Rainbow Road 2
@AndyC_MK84 everything you say makes sense which is why Nintendo will never do it

Re: Nintendo Download: 24th December (North America)
Some good Indies out today.
Elliot is great, DD Neon is fun and Bitrip are great.
Also is there a single purchase for all Bitrip games in one collection?
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th December (North America)
Super Meat Boy Forever...
Not another Roguelike.
No physical version, no Buy.
That's a Hard Pass!
