@SmaggTheSmug Oh yeh that was hilarious. I love it when that happens. Especially when it was outlandish like BG&E 2 and then it turned out to be legit. I was in stitches
@QwertyQwerty It raises it exceedingly high. It's why I do calculated guesses. You know what my realistic expectations are? Games like Mario Party and Art Academy. And release dates.
And that was because I looked at both Franchise and Developer release times. Tempers the expectations
@QwertyQwerty I love it! As someone who used to get genuine insider info and a researcher of sorts, this time of year is hilarious as leakers make random guesses.
It is so funny to see them call it "100% legit" and I was sat there knowing they were 100% wrong.
These days I prefer to make calculated guesses and play the guessing game like everyone else. So much more fun!
To be fair, if they started production in January and released it in December that's still a long time. I'd be more concerned if they said it would start production in late 2017
I could believe it. Depression is cured by a range of things including a lack of fresh air, socialization and exercise. With a motive to go outside to catch Pokémon, this game acts as a distraction and an aid to depression as you are busy playing a game
@BLPs Oh relax it's not a bad situation. At least Nintendo didn't delay an open world adventure major IP. And they definitely wouldn't do that multiple times. Nope, they would never do that.
EDIT: TT have been one of the good developers for the Wii U. Given their track record, they should be allowed a guilt-free pass for one of their games being delayed for the Wii U
If any of you have been to Hyper Japan you might be aware that it is more of a culture event than a gaming event. It has gaming elements to it but it is not as key to the industry as is E3, EGX or Gamescom
And to be honest to those who think they should bring Zelda, EGX is far more of an important event to bring Zelda to the UK for the first time than Hyper Japan
At the end of the day, they have over 700+ pokemon. Of course they are going to run out of ideas! Can you honestly expect anyone to make up so many species and keep them all as original as possible??
@Ichiban I think Nintendo's idea is to make it fully portable. PS4 and Xbox still require some form of connectivity to the home/internet. Nintendo might be trying to make it so you can take your game on the go without the need to be connected to the internet or a console
@Peach64 I think it is more they are needing to save ideas for themes for the sequel. We run our own splatfests in our Nintendo gaming group and I am already running out of ideas! They are a lot harder to think up
EDIT: Our last one was Team Hoshido v Team Nohr
@Grumblevolcano Now that makes sense! And Nintendo are only stopping event-support. They stopped doing content ages ago with the latest content being only really an encore rather than the start of new support.
And yeh, I think that's a good assumption regarding Mario Maker. I love how people instantly start assuming the worst-case scenario.
At least the servers aren't being turned off. That support is still going strong
@JamesCoote To be fair, they will need to focus on Spla-two-n and making up ideas for its splatfests. And they have done 15 Splatfests. Some of which different! How could they possibly keep that "fresh"?
Also, I think the amiibo as @MasterGraveheart mentioned could have a play in this
If this is true than that is a good start in restoring faith into the franchise. I wish them all the luck and hope that Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice is a good game at the very least

Re: Hands On: Squashing Space Pirates in Metroid Prime: Federation Force
@BensonUii He says it will be following BotW's release date logic and will be released in 2020
Re: Hands On: Squashing Space Pirates in Metroid Prime: Federation Force
@BensonUii That Blast Ball was going to be released this week. One of my mates told me about it. Guess he was right after all.
Re: Hands On: Squashing Space Pirates in Metroid Prime: Federation Force
@BensonUii Huh, the rumours were right after all. It was this week
Re: Hands On: Squashing Space Pirates in Metroid Prime: Federation Force
@Tsurii I sadly have to agree with TFH. Love the feel of the game. Hate the forced co-op.
I had this down for pre-order since day one and I'm no Metroid fan. This looks like a great start for me in the Metroid franchise

Eventually these puns will turn to dust
Re: Review: Dracula's Legacy (Wii U eShop)
If anyone thought this topic would be pun free, they made a mis-stake
Re: Review: Dracula's Legacy (Wii U eShop)
@ULTRA-64 Let's not get batty about these puns
Re: Review: Dracula's Legacy (Wii U eShop)
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Well technically it does because it has vampires
Re: Interview: Jason Behr on Buddy & Me: Dream Edition, Going Independent and His History With Nintendo

@BLPs Oh I knew you were being snarky, so I made a joke about Breath of the Wild (read my comment again )

@Dakt Based on how good TT are for Nintendo support, I would assume there were technical difficulties

Re: Meet Salandit, The Latest New Pocket Monster in Pokémon Sun and Moon
I think it is meant to be a salamander lizard so they have the shape right. I like the little guy!
Re: Meet Salandit, The Latest New Pocket Monster in Pokémon Sun and Moon
@Anti-Matter Yeh but there are only at most 100 of them in total. That is a much easier accomplishment

@Marce2240 My mistake XD

@Marce2240 Patents are used for protecting concepts. The final result could be drastically different
Re: Seven New Pokémon Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
I just realized the origin of Drampa's name. Dragon x Grampa = Drampa.
He has an ancient Japanese dragon feel and even has white hair.
lol that is epic
Re: Splatoon's Last Splatfest is Next Month
@TsukiDeity lmao the Slopes edition! And it comes in a DVD case that is slanted to give a sloped feel
Re: Seven New Pokémon Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
@Dizzard You now need to nickname him as the dragon from Mulan
Re: Seven New Pokémon Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
I think they look pretty cool to be honest. Tapukoko looks badass though
Re: Splatoon's Last Splatfest is Next Month
@BaffleBlend No, they said only the splatfests are ending. The online servers will still be up and functioning

Re: Gaming Analyst Thinks Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Will Sell 10 Million Nintendo NX Consoles "Pretty Quickly"
Things is, there is no way to predict. Until we know the launch line up, the hardware, the gimmicks etc. Only then we will know if it will sell big
