Re: Review: Wii Fit U (Wii U)

I almost peed myself in excitment when I saw that the boat in the scuba minigame was the Gabbiano from Endless Ocean. Gee, I loved that game and its sequel. =D

Re: Happy 22nd Birthday, Sonic!

Happy birthday Sonic! I remember the first time I saw you running on a friend's SMS. I completed the first Sonic just a week ago on the Game Gear VC, but today I'm afraid I'm playing with your best pal in Tails' Adventure

Re: Activision Bringing Skylanders Swap Force And Call of Duty: Ghosts To E3

As mainly a Ninty and handheld player, my experience with CoD was limited to the first title, a couple of DS games, and some local multiplayer at my bro's. But with BO2 I finally understand what the fuss is all about with CoD: it's a great game with greater multiplayer. I'm actually crossing my fingers for a Ghosts release on WiiU!!!

Re: Talking Point: E3 2013 Is All About The Games

I hope in some eshop announcements too. 3DS's one is OK, but WiiU's a little sparse: some indie games and some new VC console would be great. I mean, NES&SNES? If I wanted those I would have bought them on Wii or 3DS already.

Re: Consumers Go Crazy For Wii U Following Xbox One Reveal

"We call it XboxOne because it's just like our first Xbox, but with Kinect tacked on!!!! Out selling point is that your hands double up as a TV remote, freeing you from the burden of holding the remote itself!!! And you won't have to endure the hardship of choosing among a lot of games because there will be just a couple launch titles!!! And remember, if you don't buy our console you'll be the backwards boy in the block!! So just go and buy it!!! No wait, it's not out yet: just sit with your wallet in hands and wait for the launch date!!!!"

Re: Capcom UK Cancels Resident Evil "Blood Swimming Pool" PR Stunt After Fatal Attack

@farfromsleep
No, it hasn't. But there are a lot of corpses or parts of them. And a lot of water and some swimming, too. However I doubt that the people who came up with the blood pool idea went much farther than "Hey it's Resident Evil there are zombies and blood and stuff!"
As for the perpetrators, I cannot but think that they're like people driving by night at full speed with lights off: youngsters doing terrible things "just for kikcs" and youtubing them for good measure.

Re: FIFA 14 is Skipping Wii U Because of "Disappointing" FIFA 13 Sales

Gnoll

Problem is, I think they'll have absolutely zero problems churning out EA Sports titles for PS Vita. EA never abandoned consoles for poor sales or small install bases: they just graced them with lazy ports (even lazier than usual, I mean). When an ailing company refuses their "kind" offers of exclusivity-fuelled "help", like SEGA did with EA Sports and Nintendo with Origins, they put an embargo on them. No problem for me and for many of you, friends, but many people buy almost only EA games and their money will go other ways.

Re: Review: The Starship Damrey (3DS eShop)

I also like the metaphor on videogaming running through the story, as your charachter is unable to affect the world directly and can only use an OS and interact through an avatar, just like, you know, a person playing a videogame.

Geez, I think I like this game too much. I just need to find a picture of the AR robot to use as my avatar on NL...

@RaymanFan2
It's an interactive story like Hotel Dusk, but luckily hasn't got the pages and pages (and pages and pages) of text, nor the visibly arbitrary "do some very specific mystery thing or stay stuck here" mechanic I hated soooo much in it. Even if The Starship Damrey is five times shorter, it's way better than Hotel Dusk or Another Code and IMHO one of the best eshop games.

Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd May (Europe)

I just bought a WiiU, so I'm still exploring its eshop... I'm intrigued by the MyKong mode of Tank!Tank!Tank!
I've a doubt too... if I buy one of the 0,30€ VC games, it's mine forever just like normal VC games or there's a trick? :-S

@bizcuthammer
Some people buys Nintendo hardware because it's good, reliable and fascinatingly quirky. I love Mii Quest and the Mario Party series, and I enjoyed Luigi's Mansion 2 and Super Mario 64 DS, yet I want to play othet franchises, like Resident Evil, and Silent Hill, and so on, with all the quirky extras only a Nintendo console could grant.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Mixed Week With Wii U Third-Party Support

I love Nintendo consoles, yet I'm a fan of 3rd party games more than Ninty's own. On DS my favourite games were The World Ends With You and Ninja Gaiden. On Wii they were Sin&Punishment 2 and the Endless Ocean series, both 2nd party games. On 3DS up till now they're Sonic Generations, Castlevania: LoS: Mirror of Fate and The Starship Damrey (just go and buy it, you'll thank me later). The main reason I still do NOT have a WiiU is there are still no games truly interesting for me. Maybe I'm a rare kind of Nintendo customer, but without external games, Ninty would lose my money.
