@TreonsRealm Alright, I see what you're saying. Fair point. It's just that I think that even a Pokemon Smash Bros. will take the focus away from what the series truly is.
@MixMasterMudkip @SparkOfSpirit Ah, thanks guys. I actually don't know how to react to this. Plus it takes up more space on the roster, but it might be for the better...
@GalacticMario28 Oh, sorry about that, haha. That's a different story then. It just kind of annoys me when kids complain they have to go to school. I just feel like saying "DO YOU EVEN COLLEGE?? THEN YOU'LL COMPLAIN." Cuz I'm in college too, and stuff is tense right now. I don't even know if tomorrow I will watch the direct live since I have a ton of work to do.
@Mr_Video That's...that's...that's touching! Yes, we each have our own opinions. It's just that this game seems pretty tight on character spots, and I prefer new characters with new mechanics instead of clones.
@Ernest_The_Crab I actually never noticed the cloud until now. It must have been kinda transparent or something. I always though the thunder just came from the top screen, and nothing else.
@2Sang Yeah, I agree that other clones should return if their movesets are changed. But because of the 3DS limitations, there's not much space to pick many clones, even if their movesets are changed. I wanted Young Link to replace Toon Link, because think of how cool it would be if he was Majora's Mask young Link. Putting on different masks and transforming. Falling moon as a final smash...etc.
@2Sang I understand that it may be imporant to have characters in a game just because of their history and other nostalgic reasons, but wouldn't you much rather have a new character with a unique moveset (Rosalina, Little Mac)? If you want Lucas to return, for Smash sake, they should at least replace some moves, and make them unique.
@Mr_Video Hehehe. It is more reasonable to have Chrom replace Ike, with a very similar moveset of course, and wanting Lucas in just to see him?? If you didn't know, each character spot is very important, and no character should get in because you want to look at them. For that, you have Google images, Brawl, or Youtube videos of Brawl. You can even buy Lucas wallpaper so you can hang it on your ceiling and look at it every night before going to sleep.
@Mr_Video Really....Ike is not completely worthless, but you want Lucas back....what a complete waste of a character spot. Even Ness is better than that complete clone. Do you also want Pichu back?
@SecondServing It's ok to want both, but people are OBSESSED with release dates, as if it's a life or death situation. Obviously everybody wants both. But content is clearly much more important.
I seriously can't believe you guys...you prefer a release date sooo badly...over content. (facepalm). New content is something you haven't seen before, whereas for a release date, the game will come out whenever it does. Knowing when it will be released doesn't change anything.
Sure, you can tell me you need to know the release date in order to manage your plans for buying games, but for pete's sake, you guys are CRAZY, you are putting the release date before new content!!!
@GalacticMario28 You don't have to leave class in the middle, you know. You can just watch it after school when you come home. You're a growing boy, you need to learn in school.
@ThomasBW84 "I'm just picky, sorry" And you gave 3D World a 10. Lol, a game can really say something when reviewed by Thomas. Still hoping for a Galaxy 2 sequel!
@Ralizah I'd like to agree with you that they are taking out casual appeal about SSBU. Aside from tripping mechanics, I don't want it floaty like Brawl. The good news is that Sakurai is posting quite a few screenshots with combos, so that's a good thing.
Great read. Just a question--when you guys mentioned that the details drop when playing with 3 or 4 people, what do you mean exactly? Like are there certain little details such as a flower in the background that disappears?
I apologize for being completely out of topic, I can't find any information on this. To people who have Petit Computer, if you decide to share your game with a QR code, can you choose whether others can edit your game or not? And do you get credit for the game you made?
I don't know how many people agree with me or not, but I think the Nintendo took most risks in the Gamecube era. Mario Sunshine (F.L.U.D.D, no Mushroom Kingdom setting), Mario Kart Double Dash (Two characters, one kart) Mario Strikers, Wind Waker (graphics).
The Gamecube was my first console, and the games were very inspiring to me. I feel bad for 8 or 9 year olds who grow up with 3D World.
@rjejr I wouldn't insult Minecraft. I think we can all agree that it created a genre of it's own, and it allows people to build with creativity in a way that hasn't been done before.
@Alucard83 First of all, it's not an HP bar. Either you mean the oxygen bar underwater, or the banana bar when you collect 100 bananas. Secondly. Seriously? You complain about a little bar?
@rjejr Ah, I see what you're saying. You are right, I've thinking this too. The Wii and DS had no problem, because the games were so distinct. DS games were pretty much made for making it portable. But with the 3DS, there has been a big improvement, making people like you and I question why such games can't be made and improved on the Wii U.
Heck, Kid Icarus Uprising was barely portable, due to the controls, they even offer a stand for the 3DS, so what the point? U agree, many of the good games for the 3DS could easily be on the Wii U.
Hopefully, Nintendo's next console with be one that fuses handheld and home console, AND is more powerful than the Wii U. Even though this is a good idea, we need to see how Nintendo can pull this off.

I miss Yoshi's choking sounds from older games such as Mario Kart 64. It would be cool if Yoshi would make that sound in Mario Kart 8.
