@BAGBOY I completely agree. If a game, doesn't need it, why force something unnecessary? What is so innovative that Xbox One and PS4 have done? None of the games bring any innovation regarding controls (I don't know much about the PS4 touch pad though), and people still buy their games.

People are making a big deal because they just want to touch a screen. Guys, this game will not stop you from rubbing that screen all day all night.

@JaxonH Thanks for for the facts and your opinion! You're possibly right about having two heart to increase the mine cart difficulty more than Returns. I haven't thought of that.

I will be a bit disappointed if the difficulty in the second half doesn't live up to or surpasses Returns, but I've recently been thinking that their focus on speed runs makes it almost a win-win.

I'm not sure who agrees with me, but I see difficult levels, especially mine cart levels, as a fabulous work of art in motion. Such chaos, such movement, wrapped with great graphics and art-style.

@JaxonH I am very excited for this game and it's gonna be great but I want to hear an opinion from a massive DKC fan and a hardcore gamer: Don't the minecart and regular levels seem more plain and easy than DKCR? I would like to think that this is just because it's early in the game, but already in world 2 of DKCR you had to avoid plenty of cannon balls and alot of platforming, and the mine cart levels were more intense and interesting.

So Jaxon, please, what's your honest opinion when comparing these early levels to the levels of DKCR?

Seriously, some people send things to others that they regret, that may be against Miiverse rules...sure, people can unfriend others, but the messages are never erased, as becoming friends again reveals all the messages. I speak for all the Wii U Miiverise users who worry every day about permanent bans. Nintendo, please forgive people. It's honestly stupid how you can't delete private messages.

@JaxonH I completely agree. People keep bashing Nintendo about how they don't have innovation with the Wii U. But Xbox One and PS4 had no innovation imo. So why are people bashing Nintendo? Also, I don't understand the ranting with the graphics. I remember when playing Nintendo Land, I would stand beside a metal object in the main theme park and admire it from every angle because I couldn't believe how good the graphics were on the Wii U. So, again, the big fuss around graphics don't make sense to me. Unless, of course, Nintendo or other third party publishers are not making a big effort with the graphics.

I don't really complain about graphics, but judging from screenshots, Smash Bros. for the Wii U is looking a bit poor with its polygons. It's going to be the definitive Smash Bros. and this is a big exception where this game NEEDS to look great. Again, don't get me wrong, it looks great so far, but some polygons in screenshots need some work. Hopefully it's just because it's still in development.

Back to the Wii U innovation, I honestly could not think of better innovation. Off-TV has become my way of gaming, even when the T.V isn't in use many times, and drawing pictures on Miiverse Nintendo actually cares about gushing their minds out until they get the best innovation. Microsoft and Sony make the smallest effort in bringing something new because of their fan base, and it's not fair.

I look at Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Nintendo Land and all other Nintendo first party games and I am shocked by gamers. I can't believe people are ignoring the most creative, best quality games ever made. Heck, I see myself enjoying Luigi's Mansion game in Nintendo Land for years to come!!! Best, and most innovative use for a game ever. It seems like magic to be able to be the ghost and have your own screen, while others can't see you. And Pikmin!!!! How original is that?

I'm sorry if my words seems to go everywhere, but it's hard to explain how special the Wii U and it's games are. If I worked at Nintendo and came up with the idea of the Wii U and its games, I would be sure that it would sell so much.

@JaxonH man we agree on everything!!! Just wondering, how was your experience on DKCR when you had to beat the mole boss on the train in mirror mode?

It was the hardest thing ever for me. I took like maybe an hour or more. By the time I beat it, I was crazily happy and so shaky. I even found this trick to skip a little bit of rail time with mole henchmen on the internet. And even so, it still took me so long.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Games We'd Love to See in 2014

I am almost sure Sakurai will make a Majora's Mask remake. HOWEVER---I am nervous as I type, because I don't want this to come out to the 3DS. I want it for the Wii U. Just watch the fan made trailer and you'll see what I mean.

The dark mood is better suited with better graphics. And the musical would be such good quality.

Guys, imagine tomorrow we get a pic of the day, and this is what Sakurai writes:

"Pic of the day. This is the options menu. You can choose a button that toggles two gameplay options. One plays like Melee, and the other plays like Brawl."

I'm pretty impressed with you guys. Everyone ignored my link to a spoof of Banjo-Kazooie on Youtube, a question that I have asked, and some fake excitement for a non-existing Mario game.

Good job guys, you stay focused on the topic at hand hahaha. Prepared to not let any Microsoft or Sony fanboy distract you.

And I have the most bizarre guess that this post will be ignored too.

Good job, heh..

Re: Former Sony Developer Feels The Wii U "Won't See Another Christmas"

@FullbringIchigo As much as I want Nintendo's next gen console to be the very best, I really hope the Wii U isn't a stop gap. If it is a stop gap, this means that Nintendo won't be trying as hard with their games and ideas. But what you say may be true because of Super Mario 3D World. Maybe the game itself is a stop gap for a better mind-blowing Mario title that can beat the Galaxy series.

I choose the first one because it has my hopes up for a platform to play on. I mean, just think about it...first wonder why Sakurai decided to show a detail in the background...then wonder why it was Starship Mario--I mean, he could've shown King Kaliente's arena, Captain Toad's ship, or Bowser Jr.'s Airships. But no, it was the "little detail in the background" called Starship Mario.
