@grimbldoo I noticed though, that his K.O meter DID keep rising along with his %. Sure, he stayed at 26% for a bit, but before that the meter does not go down again if he was damaged.
@grimbldoo thanks for the explanation. Right before reading your comment I saw the trailer again and Bowser was at 231%, and it's now much better now that you've said that he can't take damage.
@Jayvir I actually just saw the trailer again and paused at a moment where they showed it quickly, but Bowser was 231% right before Little Mac punched him. That's good then. I guess it won't be a cheap move. So you were right! It is over 200%!
In my opinion, if Little Mac was in Smash Bros 64, Captain Falcon never would've joined the roster. I mean, he's a racer, his moves in Smash Bros are not from F-Zero.
Btw, how many people are motivated by Little Mac's Smash trailer and are going to work out now?
This game better have so many hidden treasures like Kirby Star Ultra. I know Iwata said finding these items would be a challenge, but how much of a challenge. All the easy Kirby games lately have left me very skeptical.
@Rafie Just get the Mario's 25th anniversary edition. It has Super Mario Bros, the lost levels, mario bros 2, and mario bros 3. Somewhere, I'm sure they still sell the game.
@LordFamicom 1. You don't have to buy it right now if you don't want to. 2) Nintendo should have made it an update? Then where do they get their money for this?
Guys, what are your opinion's about Little Mac's K.O meter? Is it too cheap and OP, or do you think Sakurai will make it hard to obtain the chance of a K.O?
@JaxonH Exactly. That's what I just posted too, I agree. Release dates will not hurry up by knowing them. I know @unrandomsam responded saying people want to know them in order to know what games to buy and when, and that is a good point, but many people freak over release dates.
By the way, don't worry Jaxon, maybe your desire/prediction of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for Wii U will be shown at E3. I'd like that too.
@JogurttheYogurt Nope if the Wii U has all the games 3DS has, it would definitely be better...plus the games would be better because of a more powerful console. Anyways, how many people do you see outside playing their 3DS?
It's funny how people are desperate for release dates...DON'T YOU PEOPLE GET IT? Getting a release date will not make the game come out any sooner...or perhaps the wait will take longer since you keep waiting for that specific day.
@OdnetninAges Truth is, I barely know about Sega other than Sonic. I played through the whole game. I barely knew most of the characters, tracks, and other references that were for Sega fans, and yet this is my favourite racing game ever. And I think barely knowing the game's content and having it as my favourite racing game really says something.
After playing this game, I used to want Nintendo to make the next Mario Kart more like this. But then I realized they are meant to be different when my family coudn't ever get the hang of Racing Transformed, as opposed to all the Mario Kart Wii games we played. But still, Racing Transformed is by far the best.
@hydeks So true, I feel ya. That's the problem we have. And there's me with my 9 Wii U games, including monster hunter, and no friends to play with online. It's a shame, really.
I find it funny imagining how your reactions will be if Nintendo releases the Mario Kart 8 box art with a lot of white background as the final version.
@MrWalkieTalkie I agree with all except for Pikmin 3 box art. Look at it! It's the only one that shows no action out of all (or most) the other Wii U box arts.
@WaveBoy Except for the Pikmin 3 box art. It just shows some zoomed in Pikmin side by side. The Gamecube box art for the original Pikmin was WAY better. It actually showes action, and the intense feeling of being chased by a Bulborb.
@AlexSora89 you might be right. But MAN, have you heard the snomad viking theme for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze?? I want THAT track to really be in Smash Bros. Wii U
@JaxonH You are right. People just don't want to give the Wii U a try. But from my experience, they just won't get it and I don't know why.
Sometimes, I invite a couple of friends to play the Wii U, and they love it. But they just are not convinced to get one. After playing Nintendoland, a family friend's daughter asked her mom on the spot if she could get a Wii U. But nothing happened.
I personally love my Wii U. I don't understand this generation.
@AlexSora89 Hey, no problem man. No need to be sorry. I have both a Wii U and a 3DS, but still, what I said may have been a bit selfish. I'm just kind of confused because Ocarina of Time especially is a game that has been known for years as a home console with epic music, yet they made a stage because of a remake 3 years ago. There are so many original 3DS games to choose from, and they choose a Zelda remake for the 3DS.
I just want you to imagine for a second playing on a big TV screen with friends, the desert bridge in HD with that quality music of Gerudo Valley.
@AlexSora89 I guess you might be right, but I still think it's best to have the best in one; in the superior hardware. And not to mention that now all throphies will be scattered between systems. Billy is viewing trophies on his 3DS. Billy sees a cool trophy. Billy tells Bollo about how cool that trophy would look in HD. Same with the stages. But oh well.
@AlexSora89 We barely saw the stage, I don't think you climb it. "Gee, thank goodness the 3DS version has some stages at all." Well maybe if some of those stages weren't made for the 3DS, they would go towards the Wii U.
I find it unfair that stages from games such as Donkey Kong Country Returns and Ocarina of Time are appearing only on the 3DS version just because 3D versions of those console games came out on the 3DS recently. They are originally been known for home consoles, it's not fair.
Besides, who wouldn't wanna play on the bridge from Gerudo valley with high quality music and graphics?
@Kirk You're probably right, maybe it was also designed for the 3DS in mind, but if that is true, I see a negative side to it; then the game probably could have been bigger than it will be. But I'm not too worried though, since delaying the game by two months is a sign that they care about how it turns out.
@HappyHappyist What!?? Aren't you happy that Cranky Kong is happy? I mean, you're the HappyHappyist.I thought you wanted to spread happiness, and you helped Cranky Kong! ...And now you're sad about it.

Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
@FilmerNgameR If you play Shadow the Hedgehog, you will see him in action. Problem solved.
Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
@RetroRider Are you crazy? What kind of move-set would he have?? Spear up, down, left, right? Super spear stab as a Smash attack??
Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
@GalacticMario28 Bowser was at 231%
Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
I hope Little Mac's coach is a spectator, like the Pokemon Trainer in Brawl.
Re: Nintendo Direct: Trailers Round-Up
@JaxonH I agree with you. Besides, who else from the Mushroom Kingdom would be a better fit...?

Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
@BAGBOY imo it looks like a great smash though!
Re: Little Mac Arrives as a Knockout Challenger in Super Smash Bros.
@BAGBOY Nope. Right before they showed the giga version, he had that smash glow around him and the rest of the environment was dark.

@WaveBoy He better maintain his realistic look. What are you saying?...We already have enough unproportional characters, think of variety.
