I’ve been really struggling with the switch 2 screen but couldn’t figure out why. Could well be this as the lcd colour difference (compared to the Switch OLED I had before this) I’ve mostly gotten used to.
I’m suprised they’re bricking consoles for the MIG carts. There’s a reasonable chance that someone is using their own personal back up of a game they still own. Will be interesting to see how it plays out
The colours seem a bit too muted in the new version?
Other than that great it’s available again. I’ve kept my original GameCube copy but it’s rare as hens teeth and that always made it such a shame as it was such a great game and should be enjoyed by all.
OG switch running totally fine! Have had to do the cardboard square trick to fix joy con drift but since then literally have t had an issue. The only thing now is controlling my FOMO on not having the OLED model for the bigger screen - I play 90% in handheld mode so it would be very very nice to have!
@Mauzuri amen! I really enjoyed sword and shield, they were fun. Definitely not groundbreaking but I don’t need that from every game I play! Looking forward to Arceus though, will be good to try a different formula!
Had this on the Atari (I think it’s actually still somewhere in my parents loft), I seem to remember the console being called the Atari 2600 though - I wonder if that was a UK specific thing!
No just looked it up, it was the 7800. The 2600 was the even older one My dad let us play on! Had missile command and everything. Oh those were the days!
My biggest gripe with this game wasn’t the lack of online but the requirement for tv play - they need to go back and add button controls so it works nicely on the go
@Classic603 no issue with the open air idea but it needs proper dungeons and non-destructable weapons. I really couldn't get on with Botw for the weapons in particular.
I think the art style is a great fit for the original game’s aesthetic. Very happy with it. For a more “mainstream” appearing game there’s sword/shield and the new one in 2022.
Windwaker was amazing up until the whole “find the random stuff in the ocean for 7hrs” bit. Hoping they just rip that out for a re-release.
I’d really love to see a GB/A compilation including both of the seasons titles and the minish cap (which imho is one of the most underrated and forgotten titles)
@MS7000 completely agree, was so disappointed in BOTW as a Zelda game. I’ve very low expectations for BOTW2 as everyone seems to love the things I disliked in BOTW!

Re: Review: Savage Raven By Skull & Co. NeoGrip For Nintendo Switch 2 - Does The Job Very Nicely
By far the best grip system and the fact it comes with a travel case bundle which fits it perfectly is ideal.

This has been on PC for ages, it’s a fun game!

Lack of performance improving fixes is outrageous. Fix the frame rate!!!

Re: Mini Review: WinBack: Covert Operations - Omega Force's Overlooked And Influential Cover Shooter
@Leprecorn nope, it’ll be a PAL copy so likely worthless 😂
Re: Mini Review: WinBack: Covert Operations - Omega Force's Overlooked And Influential Cover Shooter
I had this (and think I still do somewhere!) on the N64, it wasn’t the best but the “pop up and shoot” mechanic was really well implemented.
Re: Doug Bowser Comments On The Battle Against Joy-Con Drift, Says Nintendo Are Making "Continuous Improvements"
Since I did the “piece of paper” fix I haven’t had a single issue

@thejuice027 hahah exactly this. Need to finish the main story and the expansion!
Re: Nintendo Won't Say Whether Switch OLED Joy-Con Fixes Drift, So Don't Count On It
Had joy con drift on both my sets of joy cons but thankfully some electronic switch cleaner seems to have fully cleared it up!

I’m really really really hoping they shadow drop this during the e3 show and make it available as they announce it at the show!

I fixed my joycon drift using electronic switch cleaner, worked an absolute treat! There were some great videos on YouTube on it.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo And The Industry Needs To Get Serious About Game Preservation
@Carck good find!! What a Bizzare change to make though.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo And The Industry Needs To Get Serious About Game Preservation
@Carck it’s sideways so surely it’s read top down?!?
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo And The Industry Needs To Get Serious About Game Preservation
Can we talk about the real issue here for a second...what sort of monster stores their GameCube games that way round?!? Surely it’s logo on the top??

Re: Video: Check Out Harvest Moon: One World's Launch Trailer
Clearly someone hasn’t heard of ground clutter! It’s just barren flat textures. Looks horrendous visually, really doesn’t gel.
