I was going to get this regardless of reviews, it looked like a silly fun arcade style tank game. I'll still end up getting it eventually if it goes on sale, my 3DS backlog is way too overloaded ATM.

I got all excited, thinking "ooh, new miiplaza content is here" and then realizing that an update as small as this is wasn't going to be adding it.

I've never played an AC game, so this would be one way for N to get me to try it out.
I'm not sure how the game works; I'd guess you'd get to play a basic version of the game and then if you like it, you could buy extra areas and special items.

Just be thankful that they aren't looking to the subscription model for N games (I really don't want to rent a game for a month/year at a time).

I don't remember having access to manual controls (B&W, contrast, etc.) while shooting video before this update, it's in there now.

There is finally more info for Wii Fit U, I was starting to wonder when/if it would be released.

Even if most of them turn out to be cheap $2-3 tablet/smartphone type games, that means there will be hundreds of different eshop downloads to choose from.

If the 'relay' is just a Nintendo-zone, Nintendo might hold/exchange miis on their servers and distribute them via wifi.
For example: if I "leave" my mii at a hotspot and someone streetpasses it, I would get their mii from my home wifi from the Nintendo server.

I thought this was supposed to have been released last month or something... is this why it hasn't come out yet?

I think I'll probably end up getting it, but it's just not a day one purchase for me.

I'll still get it eventually, maybe in a few months.

I didn't have Flipnote and never saw the Hatena gallery so I'm probably not going to pay a subscription for the new gallery.

I had a problem with WaraWara Plaza a few days ago, it showed default Mii comments and tiles (while I was connected to the internet). It fixed itself since then, but that seemed like a stability issue to me.

Sounds like a neat little experiment. I want to try this out sometime.
I'm curious about the save data linking with the Guild01 games and what kind of extra story there is with/from them.

Us old timers are made of different stuff than contemporary gamers, the art & science of steadfastness & trial and error are gone it seems.

The XL battery life is not the greatest, but not $100 replacement bad.
Is there an option that gives a modest boost to mAh and still fits in the XL the same as the stock battery?

These Guild selections are perfect as eShop downloads.
My XL has Liberation Maiden & Crimson Shroud and launch 3DS has Aero Porter, so these Guild02 releases will be welcomed in my household.
This title in particular intrigues me.

If Nintendo was issued a ™ for WaraWara, I'd have to guess the issuer is at fault. If it really were infringement, then it shouldn't have been trademarkable to them in the first place.
I can understand Mr. Restaurant wanting to defend his ™; because if you don't try to defend it, you may lose it.

It's funny that they name the PS4 specifically (it isn't even out yet) but the Wii U (the only 'next gen' on the market) is an unnamed next-gen systems possibility.

Is this going to be download only?

I do wish it had better/more music options (I really like Kaze_Memaryu's idea of using your own music ) and a deeper draw distance (or a way to hide how short it is), it's just not far enough most of the time.

@klautrec I love your idea of making children have to pass a course of classic games to graduate to modern games, it's brilliant! XD
Plus there is added benefit of knowing that most of the classics are appropriate for younger players.

Load times are greatly improved.

I needed the new screen size setting because the system always displayed a little too large for my screen.

edit: I'm a sucker for a sale 25% off is nice.

Always nice to hear about 3rd party devs that wish to support the Wii U. Their ideas seem good, at least they sound creative.

I'd wager that it'd be fairly easy to reuse the 3DS OoT engine and assets for this.

This was the last game I was playing on the GC before I got a Wii U. I could only pass a few levels, but it was a really nice looking game.
