If I could, I'd trade my NTSC version for a PAL one; I'd rather play Balloon Fight 17% slower.

I'm with the others that would rate this an 8.
I haven't experienced framerate issues in gameplay, just an occasional stutter on saves. As for backtracking, what about games like Zelda etc. that are almost wholly backtracing at times?

It's does need a setting for gamepad only though.

I hope that 'Multiplayer' means something like having wiimote swordsmen and 3DS archers.

@welshland did that have a cassette storage system? I remember those on the Commodore64/Vic20; 'press play on tape'... wait 5-10 minutes and play a clone of Space Invaders! XD

@KnightRider666 me too. I ran out of DSI system memory long ago.

I would consider this if there is extra content, levels or commentary and such.

If Nintendo fixes their account system, more people would download games.

This looks like a fun game. It sounds like the devs are putting some love into it.
Looking forward to this and other indie releases for the Wii U.

I'll have to see what tables the 3D DLC are, because I want to get some tables when the Wii U version finally gets released.

I just cancelled my pre-order from Amazon because I'm not certain that I'd get the booklet and there is a notice that shipping for pre-orders might be delayed.
I'm just going to download it, FE:A will be a good game to always have on my system.

This game sounds horrible... in a technical sense.
If it were an actual hunting simulation, then it would have been a lot better.

Just think of the beautiful locales that the Wii U could render, ones that you could appreciate because you don't "run and gun" like in this title.

I look at a hunting simulator the same way I would one for one depicting a sniper; not much action, mostly stalking and waiting for the right moment to shoot your target.

I've heard of a study that video games may help with ADHD, and the use of Wii-motes for physical therapy in nursing homes.
Now it's the Wii Fit being used to help children affected by a disorder to move coordinately...

A horror FPS on the 3DS? Is it really gonna happen? I hope so!

I liked the controls on Dementium 2, it was similar to keyboard + mouse (the best way to play FPSs, IMHO).

No need to download the tables from the 3DS version, but they do look nice on the eShop video

I downloaded the 3DS version when it was on sale last summer, maybe I'll have to get this one on sale too. The eShop video looks gorgeous in HD.

@Burning_Spear #4 I thought of added weight too.

The stock battery in the gamepad is just about perfect; if it weighed too much more, the extended life wouldn't be worth it. I've never had the battery run out while I'm playing, so I wouldn't need this anyway.

Well, I had to give it a go (I kept thinking of this review ), and so far (~1 hour) it seems very promising.

I found Dementium II when I bought an ambassador 3DS. I found it by searching for DS horror titles. I didn't have a DS, so my purchase don't figure into release sales figures.

I swear it advertised Download Play in the eShop (before it released), that was why I put it in my wishlist. Without that, no sale for me.

Edit: Was this a review of the cartridge version?
The eShop say "Nintendo 3DS Retail/Download" and "supports download play". Maybe there is a difference between the two.

My friend was at a GameStop to buy a Wii U for her daughters for Xmas. The employee told her that it won't play any of their Wii games or sync the Wii peripherals/controllers. She didn't buy one (at least she bought a couple 3DS XLs). GS might need to put their employees on comission (to be able to make sure to make the company some money), then fanboys won't be able to wreck sales of consoles they are "too cool" for.

I noticed the 3DS eShop was in maintenance for a few hours and then... a really short update when I connected. I'll have to D/L the Wii U update tomorrow and see if it helps with the freezing (I've only had it happen a couple times) and slow-ish OS load times.

The general response to this is really quite sad.

Why wouldn't a father want his daugter to more easily relate to the hero of the story?
Also, he is reading the dialogue to her, so she is quite young.

The price is a little steep for a download, but if it's a full legnth game.. it looks pretty cool.

I wasn't even going to buy this, but the over-the-top craziness of the posts here drove me to purchase it. Not a bad game for the price.

A call to peta is ridiculous, no animal are harmed in the execution of this eShop download. It's an arcade style shooting gallery game folks, not a trip to Africa to poach animals.

6/10 is just about right.
The controls take some time to get used to and you can't use the circle pad.
Decent graphics and fast gameplay.
Loads of levels.

I actually picked up some hints for playing the game from the review, I was really just playing on the top screen.

Definitely fun to re-learn some of the commands I've forgotten after all these years. I found a couple of my old programs, but the POKE command don't work.
I wrote a dumb little number guessing game and have scanned a few off the Japanese site (some very good examples of what PetitCom can do there).

Does this mean those cool little demos I've DLed will be lost? (I believe they were "purchased" although free)
I have a few more plays on them and seeing how they would look on a bigger screen might persuade me to buy the retail games.

Of course I'd rather just play GC discs I already have but I'd buy Eternal Darkness (awesome game), Killer7 and a few others again. Killer7 for motion controlled aiming.

Anyone know if this is a 3D enabled release? The trailer is great, just 'mindless' fun!
