I realize I am a year late with this. Just saw this game on sale now and was on the fence (gaming time is more valuable than money these days) but after reading all the comments here and how the developer responded, I would be foolish to not give it a go. It surely can't be more punishing than DKC Tropical Freeze! Thanks all.

@subpopz We may have not begged for MK11 in the same way but Ed Boon also gauged interest for the game on Nintendo Switch on Twitter over a year ago. Also, Bandai Namco did the same for DBFZ. I'm not saying it's okay but it's definitely not a new trend unfortunately.

@Kalmaro I find this happens too often. People outside of a group getting offended for that group while that group is totally apathetic toward the supposed offense.

I think what Nintendo doesn't want to say, but is probably the case is "we built Splatoon 2 without cloud saves in mind". I'm sure if they were to make a Splatoon 3 it would support cloud saves without any of this worrying about cheating.

@link3710 Yep, I'm looking forward to DBZ Fighter Z from all the hype I've heard. I should have specified in my comment that I was referring to 3D fighters. My bad, it was early.

Anyway, my point is, I feel there is a lack of traditional 3D fighters on the Switch. ARMS, Pokken Tournament, Smash are all great games but there is still something missing there. I have a feeling we'll see a 3D Mortal Kombat or Injustice on the Switch before any Bandai Namco ones.

We already have Pokemon coming. Shouldn't one of their higher priorities be trying to get a fighting game like Soul Calibur or Tekken on the Switch?

@Navitroid Yea he probably thinks the Switch is an add-on to the Wii U and will flop. I do understand he feels burned from his earlier experience with Nintendo consoles, but he should get with the times.

Hopefully this means they will patch the awful button response problems. I'm considering holding off on continuing my game until it is fixed.

I wonder if censorship comes bundled with this localization.

@Drac_Mazoku Same here. I think rogue-likes are getting a little overdone nowadays. After Binding of Isaac, I always think twice before buying another game like that. I am very tempted by Flame in the Flood though.

Nicalis seems to be the only ones putting in any effort into their instruction manuals nowadays.

This is great news. If they do localize it, I would highly recommend picking it up if you enjoyed Secret of Mana. This game had awesome music, a bunch more characters to choose from, and quite a bit of playtime from what I remember. (I played a translated emulated version way back.) The combat is very similar to the original, from what I remember, but there were some changes/tweaks for sure.

@G0dlike The same thing happened to me. I think they just updated their password policy so you will have to update yours prior to setting your user ID. I also didn't get an email until I tried logging in from my PC.
