'Not mirroring the competition' is all well and dandy...but when it comes at the expense of basic features like online chats, parties, messaging and even a straightforward way to add friends I call bulls#@t. These are basic quality of life things that other consoles have had for at least 2 generations now, sort it out Nintendo cos these constant sidesteps and excuses aren't fooling anyone.
I was never Into Doom originally but the 2016 reboot was not only my game of the year but also one of my favourite shooters ever. Pumped for Doom Eternal on switch!
This completely blindsided me! Out of nowhere! I poured so many hours into the original on PS2 and loved every minute. Diablo-esque dungeon crawler based in the MCU? What's not to love?
I fully expected to wake up to some form of Metroid news, and whilst it was disappointing samus didn't show, the very unexpected third party announcements (mortal kombat 11, MUA3) more than made up for it. Metroid is coming, we all know it is, patience padawans.
I've always admired epic for how they've managed to keep people engaged in a very basic game, I enjoy battle royale every now and again on switch but I'd definitely like to see them add in save the world and then creative mode
As much as I think the PSP and Vita are both underrated systems, with Nintendo consolidating both their (more profitable) handheld and home console divisions, i think Sony would be silly to try and wrestle their way back in when they're doing just fine with the PS4....
Me and my girlfriend enjoy dropping in every now and then for a quick game but it's not something i'd throw any money at... good for a quick match but not something i'd put any prolonged amount of time into. Although for people who are into it i can see why, the constant updates and changing map are at least signs that Epic do care about keeping things interesting for their player base, and somewhat justify splashing out on the battle passes.
This game really interests me, on paper it's right up my street but 35 squid seems a bit steep seeing as i'm sure its sub £20 on other systems? November/December is pretty busy anyway so i'll probably just wait for a sale...
Sky Force: Reloaded surprised me at how addictive and difficult it was, I've sunk a large amount of time into it so I'd definitely recommend people give these a try. I will definitely look to pick this up in a quieter month post smash and Pokemon!
As much as I'd love to play this trilogy on the switch... I'm not holding my breath for a port in the near future after they announced the file size for PS4 was around 60Gb... I'm pretty sure the switch cartridges are only 32Gb at the moment if I remember rightly?
Owned Diablo 3 on PC for the longest time and never really played it... excited to pick this up on Friday and put some proper time into it! Just a shame it came out so close to Dark Souls...
I wasn't planning on, but after picking Super Mario Party up at launch I've had a lot of fun with it! Admittedly I've only played it couch co-op with the missus and a few friends once a week or so but it's a solid party title and i'm glad the sales numbers reflect this.
Glad to see MH getting the attention it's always deserved in the West, even though unfortunately I haven't had the chance to play MH worlds I really enjoyed my time with MHGU. I hope this means capcom will bring more to the switch in the future!
I don't think many people are seriously surprised at this... as an all online game Fallout 76 never really interested me and I personally would rather Bethesda work on single player experiences. But regardless I hope it turns out to be good for those who are going to pick it up.
