@tameshiyakuif if one is merely “considering” a switch 2 upgrade in the future as you say, they waste 8€ by going with the switch 2 version if they never use the game on a switch 2. Choosing to risk a small 2€ upgrade premium (in your region) does not justify saying that people are uninformed or not bothering to read

Your region also isn’t the only one. In some places in the world, the cost of the upgrade is effectively the difference between the two versions. So even less of a reason to risk paying for the S2E for those people

@tameshiyaku they did in fact bother to read. They know the Switch 2 Edition can be played on Switch 1. The S2E costs more money, so they are saving money by going the Switch 1 route.

If they really want to upgrade to the switch 2 version down the road they can pay the small upgrade fee. No need to “double dip”. There’s minimal reason reason for them to pay more money now if they don’t want the switch 2 version

Bummer that there hasn’t been an update on hotseat multiplayer in some time. I’ll hold off buying without that

@Octane I keep going back and forth on that lol. Frankly, zooming in makes it seems like the bigger “bump” in the B is on the top (whereas a normal Joy-Con has the bigger bump on bottom), so perhaps it’s mirrored vertically?
Or the image quality is just confusing me

The interesting thing is that the ‘B’ does not appear to be mirrored?

I never disagreed with any of that. Initially, majora was implying that unless you paid extra money there was no way to get these 200+ Pokémon. Majora also made it clear that trading for ‘mons back in the days of X/Y was acceptable. That was my only grievance

@Majora101 Again, these 200+ Pokémon will be supported in the games for free. As I said, you will be able to trade for them. So you can catch them all, all while paying $60

@Majora101 The article says the free update allows anyone to have access to these Pokémon. Sure you can’t get catch them without the expansion pass, but you’ve never been able to catch every single Pokémon without trading / paying money for additional game(s) anyways

I would not say that gen 4 pokemon are "recent". If my memory serves, they came out 10 years ago or so, which is approx the amount of time it took other generations to get remakes.
