Even if the hardware was just slightly better than the Wii, I'd be happy. Why? Because that would mean even bigger, better Nintendo games even if they were only slightly better overall.
And with the Wii U's hardware matching the likes of the PlayStation 3, just imagine a Metroid adventure, or even the possibilities with Mario.
Holy sh*t, someone who doesn't know where the other person is coming from whatsoever and doesn't have any idea how Capcom is ruining the traditional look of Resident Evil while making up excuses, is trying to be a smart pants.
Go ahead, ruin the games. But when you think Resident Evil needs action, always look back at that Operation Racoon City game right before looking back at RE2.
Drawing on the Call of Duty series as an example of a genre that easily out-performs conventional survival horror,
How can you compare the two? One is over here, perfecting a completely different genre, while the second is doing something totally different in a third person perspective. Poor example.
You see Capcom, Resident Evil 2 was thoroughly thought out and based on horror. It wasn't given to a random, mediocre developer like Slant Six and produced with little to no super vision and passed on to be a Resident Evil title.
Having a good storyline, and a sense of horror in the atmosphere is all we want. Resident Evil 2 was the best selling Resident Evil until 2009 and it wasn't a shooter. Go figure.
This game is too cute. I played the original for around an hour at a friend's house awhile back and wasn't thrilled. I think these are the types of games you need time alone to fully enjoy and go at it at your own pace.
The only way I'm ever going to buy something digital, is if it's exclusively digital. For example Pushmo and Fat Princess. Both of which you cannot own physically and are digital exclusive.
Now for a downloadable game like inFamous or Call of Duty 4, I would rather buy those from a retailer because I can get the physical copy.
As one user already claimed, I too, will not continue my gaming if everything goes digital. I will just continue backwards and collect games from past generations.
Well anyway, I don't care either way. I've had more fun with games without achievements on the PS3 (Metal Gear Solid 4), than I did with games with them (Killzone 3).
I can't believe Konami is selling this for $40. There is nothing new about this that should make you want to go out buy it. Sure it's an amazing game but with the Essentials Collection (MGS1, MGS2, and MGS3 with all their expansions), the two PS2 games (MGS3 and Subsistence), and the MGS HD Collection, why would anyone want this?
Konami is also reaching out to a very small community. I'm sure not many 3DS users have ever played or have any interest in playing, a Metal Gear game.

Re: Feature: Obscure Series That Should Return on Wii U
How is Viewtiful Joe an obscure game? Not only does it have multiple sequels but the original is far from obscure. Obviously.
Re: Feature: The Evolving Role of Swapnote
I hate the app. I'd rather have a traditional messaging system a la PSN.
Re: Talking Point: The Inevitability of Digital Retail Games
I want a digital girlfriend. They're so much more convenient than those outdated physical ones.
Re: Talking Point: The Inevitability of Digital Retail Games
Digital future? No thank you. I'll just move on to something more productive than playing a video game like a family or golf.

Wasn't this discussion on the forums? Yeah.
Well anyway, I don't care either way. I've had more fun with games without achievements on the PS3 (Metal Gear Solid 4), than I did with games with them (Killzone 3).

Re: Talking Point: Using Glitches - Cheating or Clever Gaming?
Offline- it's clever gaming.

Re: 3DS Still Top of the Japanese Charts
It will only continue from here on out. Congrats Nintendo.
