Wow looks awesome. I'm ashamed, as a JRPG lover, to say that I have never played a Fire Emblem game. I have always wanted to though. I have a 3DS but I'll be picking up an XL for this game. Hopefully they bring a Limited Edition XL model to NA

I'll be playing some games on the Wii U and Paper Mario Sticker Star on the 3DS, as well as working and hanging out with family.

It is hard to forget about greatness Sakurai-san. Having said that, waiting for the best version of Smash Bros. is just fine with me. I prefer quality over a rushed project any time. Patience is a virtue and often pays off.

@WiiLovePeace I think the character's name is supposed to be "Nicholas" and not "Daniel".... Having said that, I'll definitely be looking for gameplay footage and impressions on this game

I didn't get the coins for my Little Inferno survey, so hopefully they get this fixed. It's only 20 coins though so not a huge deal. Hopefully they fix this and allow people to delete "To-Do's"! Sometimes I hope to get games only to not get them because of certain reasons (bad reviews, money, ect...) and there is no way to get rid of the "To-Do's". I want those ten coins if I do get the game, but I don't want that game reminding me I didn't get it either haha

Sorry Mick, looks like your developers dropped the ball on both of the games you star in this time around. They should just let you chill for a little bit instead of ruining your good name!

I can't complain about the demo limits. Every time I have gotten a demo on the 3DS I play it, at the most 5 times, and base my purchase off hands on impressions and multiple reviews. Some people would get the demo and just play the limited content and be fine with that, which is completely weak. Speaking of demo's, I wish Ni no Kuni was coming to the Wii U! The Wizard's Edition on PS3 will hold me over though

Can America get a 3DS XL color besides Blue and Red already! I don't want my 3DS looking like the American flag, sorry. This model looks really cool, although I have never heard of this game. Give us NA some cool XL models Reggie!!!

@CactusJackson Have you even played the game? It's not crappy, but it is not the best either. GameInformer's review was horrible, as were most. Metacritic's score is about what it is. Without going into detail and just giving it a score it'd be around 7 to 7.5... which is still good. This comes from someone who does not like FP camera games or FPS. I still thought the game was good.

I might have to check out that Sonic Racing Demo, I believe the game is only $39.99 here in the US. Pretty nice price for a home console game. Hopefully it is worthy. Ninja Gaiden will probably be what I pay for today, but I still need to purchase Super Mario Bros., Zelda, and Zelda II on the NES VC

I bought the Deluxe Edition on launch day in NA, which of course included Nintendo Land. I also bought NSMBU, ZombiU and Scribblenauts: Unlimited. I figured I'd eventually pick all of them up anyway so I just did it all on launch day. Also, I bought Little Inferno on the eShop which is definitely worth it! I enjoy all the games entirely.

Nice MH Pack on launch day for Japan! I'm still on the fence about Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, but I'll probably get it. It comes out in March here in the U.S. I believe. Pretty cool that most everywhere has the Wii U now!

@3Dash SMB2: The Lost Levels is supposed to come on Dec. 27th my friend. Fluidity: Spin cycle comes out the same day, so that will be an expensive eShop day for most. I am eagerly waiting for Toki Tori 2 on the Wii U as well!

@Philip_J_Reed Same. I might pick that up sometime later this month. Not many games arrive this month so I'll have some extra money, and I always enjoy planting things and hitting on women If Jim Morrison was still alive he would punch Skrillex in his ugly hairdo, not collaborate with him.

Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion for sure, and possibly Castlevania if it looks worthy. Brain Age is a maybe as well actually.

If this game was $5 cheaper I'd get it without question, but the lame boss battles have me wondering whether (not weather) this game is worth the $20 price tag. The same applies to Little Inferno. They just seem a bit more costly than they should be, to me. Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't even consider these games if I didn't think they were good and worthy.

I like the idea of keeping the times in line with our EU friends. It would be great if they do the three main regions at the same time (NA, EU, and Japan). I kind of wish they did a same day worldwide release for the Wii U, but I suppose it really doesn't matter.

The NA Nintendo Direct will be at 9am PT, 10am Mountain Time, 11am Central Time and 12pm Eastern for those of you that have trouble with the conversion

Hopefully NA receives a Nintendo Direct as well. They are fun, and create some anticipation and hype. I could use some concrete release dates on Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem for 3DS. How about exact release dates for Game and Wario and Pikimin 3 as well?

@Syntax If you really, really wanted one, it wasn't hard to get. You just have to be on top of it. I went 30 mins after the New York press conference and had no problems, and I know most people hate GameStop, but being able to reserve a Wii U for $50 was pretty damn cool. I too hate those inch brained morons who purchase multiple systems though, and I hope they have to sit on them and sell them for a loss someday.

Hope the launch goes well EU friends! My system (US) has been ok thus far, but has frozen a few times, although that does not cause any problems. Just don't pull the power plug during your system update like an idiot lol. I'm glad the problem is being remedied so quickly!

@hamae Exactly. Some of us aren't 15 anymore lol. (Not saying that some 26 year olds wouldn't like a Red or Blue, but I'm sure most want a generic color such as Black, Silver, or White) Again, I'm not saying the Blue or Red isn't nice or that 15 year olds don't want a Black or White one as well, I'm just saying more color options would mean more adaptors or upgrades. I know this is true for more than just me.

Even though Europe is getting this nice deal, I think, everything considered, NoE and NoA treat it's consumers relatively the same. Although lately NoE has been doing a lot more great things than NoA has been. Reggie is letting me down. What are you doing Reggie? Wake up buddy. Nintendo of Japan is lightyears ahead of us in nearly every facet of the company. I'm moving to Japan, I don't care if I can't speak a lick of anything but English haha. They will accept me and my ninja skills.

I had that unsure feeling after picking up the Wii U and going through the whole hour long system update, hearing all the stories of "bricked" systems, freezes and the like (which has happened to me. And hey, the SNES froze every now and again, did it not?) I am loving the Wii U based on my own experiences. Instead of assuming, just wait until you get to spend some time with the Wii U, and then form an educated opinion. Most of these people on the internet talking about the Wii U probably do not even have one, which is hilariously dumb and moronic, but that is the internet for you.

@Aloysius_Rexford The gentleman who created the tech for Nintendo's Motion Controller went to Microsoft and offered it to them first. They told the gentleman we can make something better than this and he took the idea to Nintendo. The rest is Wii history.

Nintendo is making me a bit mad only offering two XL colors here in NA. Red or Blue, take your pick! So many choices, I just can't decide. Those are the only two colors. Can we at least get a generic color such as Black or Silver? Some twenty something year old gamers do not want a Red or Blue handheld system. Yes, older people game. Older people have great jobs in the radio business and still play handheld games. I love Nintendo, but sometimes they make stupid decisions, like putting together a special edition XL bundle with MK7 included on a color that is already available for purchase. If someone wanted a Blue XL they would already have it. Their logic: Let's put together a Blue pack here in America to get rid of some extra Blue XL's, because America does not do handheld gaming like the Eastern culture, so we only offer two colors to the consumers. Lol ok, my rant is done. Japanese gamers are more lucky than they know

I never had a Sega and always wanted to try Alex Kidd! Bring it Nintendo. All the Sonic home console games as well, please More 3D classics!! I bought 3 of them, so obviously I thought some were cool.

@6ch6ris6 Agreed. I can go to Gamestop and get a copy of Pilotwings for $19.99 USD... Pretty weak to charge full price for that game on the eShop. It's another Nintendo head scratcher lol. That and Steel Diver should be $19.99 and they would sell great.

The update took me about 50 mins on Sunday morning, but I imagine the traffic was absolutely intense so I attributed it to that (admittedly assumed). I just went and took a shower, ate and came back and it was a about done.
