Re: 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro Release Date Confirmed

Boo_Buster

@Arthedain Same! I want to play Revelations and MGS3 on the XL eventually

It's not like I'm tryin to be "stylin" when I am playing a handheld game lol. If it is too bulky I'll just play those games at home or places that are more clever for the XLCPP (which is not big deal at all). The abbreviation to end all abbreviations right there...

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Focus on the 3DS eShop

Boo_Buster

@19Robb92 You are my guy Robb! We've got the same ideas quite often. I bought 3 of those 3D Classics, I think they are really cool updates on classic games, even if it is just basically adding 3D. We've been clamoring for GBA titles for a while now, hopefully they eventually come (I think they will)

Re: Nintendo: Phones And Tablets Aren't Games Devices

Boo_Buster

I have to agree with Nintendo on this debate. I've played my fair share of games on iPads and iPhones and they can't even hold the toilet paper for Reggie when he takes a dump a.k.a they are nowhere near as quality as console and handheld games (as noted by the price we pay for our games - a $40 game should be quite a bit better than a .99 cent game, and have a lot more depth and material involved)

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U Trailer Shows Off Co-Op, Controlled by Mario Masters

Boo_Buster

The truth from Nintendo: Release this to make a little money (I don't mean that the "New" series are bad games, by any means. Quite the contrary, they are quite solid) then create the 3D Mario that the big Nintendo fans desire. The 2D Mario's sell better, their reasoning is understandable. They can use the extra time to fully grasp the Wii U's strengths and whatnots as well. Having said that, I am actually looking forward to this game, I know it will be hours and hours of fun.

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th October 2012 (North America)

Boo_Buster

@ShadJV Of course it adds up lol, but they are not going to give you 3 quality levels for a dollar. Your thoughts are totally unrealistic on this issue. It is quite funny seeing people mad and at odds over a measly dollar. HUNDREDS you say? Like it is some out of this world notion? I guarantee there are many people who will play these levels or the levels currently in the game that much, so take those capital letters elsewhere bro! haha 1 mil coins is a lot of coins to collect, levels will be played many, many times

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th October 2012 (North America)

Boo_Buster

@ShadJV Exactly. Nintendo is not losing sleep over anyones thoughts on the price lol. People will buy these just how they are. As I said, I'll take one Mario level over a McDouble fatty maker any day. I agree though Erica (who doesn't?) $1.50 would be a great price. What I have said a few days ago would be to discount the package. For example $2.50 for each pack but $6 for all three packs. Good idea, I know lol. Ok Shad, you go play a .99 cent game 100's of times, that is your choice. Enjoy! As I said, Nintendo is not losing sleep over you

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th October 2012 (North America)

Boo_Buster

@Erica_Hartmann I make that much opening my eyes every morning, seriously. $2.50 is chump change, anyone can make that much money. Doesn't matter if you are 5 yrs old or 105 yrs old, anyone can make a few bucks if they really want to. You can choose to get an awful McD's sandwich or something of the likes with that $2.50, or acquire some real quality NSMB levels that you can replay 100's of times. Really ... Not as bad of a deal as some of you are making it out to be. Knock off 50 cents and I bet the complaining would be cut in half... over 50 cents. It's sad. Really

Re: NightSky Lights Up 3DS eShop On 25th October

Boo_Buster

@BenAV That is certainly a bummer. NA gets treated pretty well (not nearly as well as Japan) but that is where Nintendo was formed, so I can understand that. I still wish there was a way every region could get every game. Digital releases really helps that, I think. I've been interested in this game since the Nintendo Power sneak peak way back when, so good looking out NL

Re: Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Confirmed for Japan

Boo_Buster

Looks like we (English speaking territories like the US and my brothers in the UK) won't be getting this Nintendo Direct until next year. Oh well I guess, Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion should hold my handheld needs over until next year.

Re: Team Ninja Backs Wii U to Grab Attention

Boo_Buster

If those of us who are getting a system at launch are fully impressed and get our thoughts out on the web, I think that will play a big part in getting the system noticed in North America (and all over the world). Of course positive word of mouth is possibly the biggest ad campaign Nintendo can hope for, so I'll be sure to let it be known if I am having fun (and I doubt the Wii U will be anything but fun)

Re: Japan Is Getting These Awesome Animal Crossing and New Super Mario Bros. 2 3DS Bundles

Boo_Buster

You have stated the Black 3DS XL version will be $240, I believe this to be incorrect. The 3DSXL retails for $200 in North America. The conversion might equal $240, but they cut the US a little break. The package deals might be $240, but the Black 3DS XL will be $200 by itself, unless they want another uproar on the cost. I did not know black paint was $40 more expensive than red or blue

Re: Game Boy Advance Games Pop Up On Nintendo Europe Press Site

Boo_Buster

I ask them to add GBA games every time I fill out a VC survey on Club Nintendo, so I am sure they certainly hear it from the North American crowd as well as from everyone else. If people want to buy it and it can be done, why not do it? I hope that this is the case, the GBA had some really awesome games. More GBC games too, please. LoZ: Oracle of Ages/Seasons would be amazing

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Favourite Eurogamer Expo 2012 Moments

Boo_Buster

I was a bit at odds when Nintendo didn't invite me to the Chicago Wii U Experience, seeing how I spend quite a few dollars on their products. With Nintendo Directs and other online videos and write-ups though, at least I can get an idea of what to expect. I'd love to get my hands on that Gamepad to see what it's like before I spend hours playing it on Nov. 18th, but I suppose I'll have to wait. I want to attend a gaming expo next year, I'm making it a goal. Perhaps I can swindle my way to E3 and use my small town media credentials... haha

Re: A Beginner's Guide to The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave

Boo_Buster

@skyluigi Petit Computer has so much potential, but unless you know how to program in BASIC it's useless. It doesn't teach you how to do so, which would have been great. I could take a class on BASIC but, it's not used very much anymore. Having said that, this game looks great! Downloading in a few hours when it's on the NA eShop. This is a great help for the game NL, good looking out!

Re: Frozenbyte: "The Wii U eShop is Very Promising"

Boo_Buster

@rjejr On the 3DS you can just take the available funs right off your credit/debit card. It is easier than pie. The Wii points thing was kind of ridiculous, no doubt, but the 3DS has fixed that. Real money, and you can take the exact price of the application from your real card

Re: Men Like Metroid, Women Prefer Animal Crossing, But Both Like Mario

Boo_Buster

Super Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda seem to be my favorite Nintendo series, but I enjoy mostly all of them.... mostly. Including Animal Crossing (and I am a man, baby!) The Japanese don't like to do barrel rolls though, do they? Not all of the games are great, but I've always loved StarFox as well. I'm just kidding Japanese people, I love you even if you don't do barrel rolls and like jet fighting animal people. Without you their would be no Nintendo

Re: Sony: Wii U Offering "Something That Vita and PS3 can do Quite Easily"

Boo_Buster

The interviewer should have said to the Vita owners own a PS3 comment "While yes, that is for the majority true, every PS3 owner does not necessarily have a Vita. In fact, I would say a majority of PS3 owners do not have a Vita"... Which is a fact. Less than 50% of PS3 owners own a Vita as well, while 100% of Wii U owners have the GamePad. It's a rather simple argument, and not hard to make Sony eat those words. Look, I have a PS3 and love it, but Sony tries too hard to be like Nintendo. They copy off them all the time. ALL OF THE TIME. Look at All Stars Battle Royal = Smash Bros. ripoff. It is sad. If every company was like Nintendo and was creative and innovative and went their own way, the gaming world would be a better place. Again, I am not a Sony hater, but I can see the truth for what it really is
