Re: Nintendo Direct: Watch The North American Presentation Live

Boo_Buster

T'was a very fun NDirect this morning Any game where you can attack with a goat is a must have, Fire Emblem looks (I dislike the overuse of this word but it certainly applies here) epic, and I still can not wait to play Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, even though they pretty much ignored it today.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Turns Over Some New Footage

Boo_Buster

@Olaf-symbiote That always bugs me a bit. I love you EU folks, but I always wonder why title changes are so prevalent. Sakura Samurai not good enough for you, Hana? lol jk I wish they just stuck to a more "global" title that we could all use to refer to the game, after all, everyone knows english these days so talking to someone from Japan on the internet is nothing astronomical.

Re: Nintendo Reveals Its Version of iTunes For 3DS

Boo_Buster

It would only be interesting to me if we could put our existing music library on the application. I don't buy music, go F yourself if you have a problem with that Big time acts can get their money though touring or merchandise sales. More than likely they sold their souls and are one with the man anyways, so it doesn't bother me one bit.

Re: Isaiah Triforce Johnson Is Already Queuing For His Wii U

Boo_Buster

What is the point of waiting in line in the days of "pre-ordering"? If he, for some reason, did not pre-order a system I hope he misses out haha. Having said that, there are around ten people who pre-ordered at my local gamestop, so I can just elbow my way through some fools to get to the front I've got a genius idea for the next round of Nintendo consoles Mr. Johnson: Pre-order it and arrive whenever the hell you want, that way you don't smell like you have been waiting in line for 27 days...

Re: MCV: Wii U Is A Stopgap System, Real Successor Is Still To Come

Boo_Buster

I'll only say this: The last console generation was too long, so much so that things started to get stale (they are currently stale). Sequels and numbered releases of the generations IP's ruled, and that is not really a good thing for gaming. Like this Shiryu fella above me says, 5 or 6 years is not really a stop gap for me. I believe consoles are better off lasting only 5 or 6 years. Look at the past history of consoles and how often they came out with a new generation, and then look at this current generation. PS3 and XBOX360 have been around for nearly 10 years and IP's have suffered for it. 5 or 6 years is a long time when talking about computer technology. I'd be happy if Nintendo brought new technology to the table twice a decade, as they always know how to keep the price right for the gaming consumer. Their systems were $199.99 from the NES all the way up to the Gamecube here in America. They take the technology of the time and figure out innovative and creative ways to use that tech. That is why I love them, they are nothing like the rest of the gaming world

Re: Feature: Reinventing Nintendo's Major Franchises on Wii U

Boo_Buster

I'd buy all of them. Wave Race was amazing when I was in gradeschool back in the N64 days, so my nostalgia factor alone would want that. Throw in a new Kirby game while they are at it. Why not? I've always loved Mario Golf as well. Glad they released the GBC version on the VC this week, so a Wii U version would be awesome. Star Fox... It is too perfect of a fit to not have it on this system. I hope Retro is working on that right now...

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U Confirmed as 1080p, Or Not

Boo_Buster

1080p would be great but, as you said, 720p is still HD. ZombiU and Toki Tori 2 will run in 1080p though, so at least I'll get to see what those look like in full HD glory. I think they will make future first-party games 1080p for sure, as the system is more than capable of doing it, obviously.

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th October 2012 (North America)

Boo_Buster

@Chobi NightSky is scheduled for an Oct. 25th eShop release, so a later date indeed. I've heard nothing on Liberation Maiden besides "holiday season" and my educated guess that they will release the Guild titles with some space in between them. Perhaps one per month

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Takes One Step Forward, One Back With Retail Downloads

Boo_Buster

After reading people's responses: It seems as if prices are a main concern to the UK, and occasionally Americans. I think that is easy to explain as electronics aren't as expensive in those regions as they are in say Norway. I would have to agree with this, being American, as I can go and get the physical game copy at a store for a possibly less, but never more, price. The main upside to this way of thought is having the game on ones 3DS without having to bring the cartridge everywhere. To those who live in countries where it is harder therefore more expensive to acquire these physical items downloading is most definitely the better route, even with the inherent risks such as losing ones system while not having a user account. I think those in the UK and the US would agree, lower the digital prices and we would be more apt to buy a retail release digitally on the eShop. Even $5 less would be nice

Re: Teens Losing Interest In Social Gaming, Turning To Traditional Consoles

Boo_Buster

This is why we need to embrace games like "Style Savvy" and Art games and whatnot, even though it's something I don't want to play. Women make up such a big section of "the consumer" that creating games specifically for the "casual girl gamer" is a good idea to help sustain the "hardcore gamers". I'm not saying all girls want to play games like that though, it's just an example. There could be some guy designer or artists out there and that is just fine. Heck, I know a lot of girls who play Super Smash Bros and Metroid, and I love them Haha. My point is that these games on consoles and handhelds offer so much more than some social game that one can find on Facebook or a game in the App store. Case in point: My mother played Farmville, and then I showed her Harvest Moon, and that was the end of Farmville.

Re: Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion Will Make Its Way To The eShop

Boo_Buster

@LEGEND_MARIOID I wish we called our money quid

I've been looking forward to this game after playing the Mickey games of yesterday years ago, so physical copy it is. It's too bad that November is the craziest gaming month of my life. This game will have to wait for December, unfortunately. It's ok though, it deserves its own time!

Re: NPD: US Consumers Want a Hot Item This Xmas, But The Wii U Isn't It

Boo_Buster

I've said it before and I'll say it again; once positive word of mouth starts to spread the Wii U will gain some traction and sell to those who are "on the fence". This holiday season might not be anything to write home about, but systems will be sold out as seen by reports. Once they announce those "must have" games, gamers will want one, especially with the price being friendly for the newest system on the market. I might even argue that Nintendo has set themselves up well for the future, as developers might not be as keen as they once were to spend a huge portion of funds on one triple-A game that could possibly flop. Who knows how much it could cost to develop for the "PS4" and "XBOX720", even though they will be powerful systems. The Wii U seems powerful enough for the hardcore gamer and innovative enough for the average user while being economically friendly. Although it has yet to be seen, I feel that once I get some friends over to my house and they get their hands on the Wii U they are going to be asking their wives or wallets for a Wii U sooner or later

Re: Bridgestone Responds to Sony's "Kevin Butler" Lawsuit

Boo_Buster

With the way Sony is acting in this case and the way they are talking about the Wii U, (add on the PS Move, LBP Karting and All Stars Battle Royale - All direct rip-offs of Nintendo) I'm leaning towards telling them to shove that more than likely ridiculously expensive PS4 up there stinky bungholes. I'll enjoy the PS3 while it lasts though, I mean Ni no Kuni hasn't arrived yet

Re: Wii U Resellers Captilise On Demand By Fleecing Consumers

Boo_Buster

I'm so glad no moron bought that Wii U for nearly $1,600. Screw these people who do this, seriously. They are actually part of the reason there aren't as many systems as there could be. If any of you out there are thinking about buying one on ebay because you didn't pre-order one, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE INCH BRAINED IDIOTS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!! Just wait until more are available and let those fools have to eat that 2nd Wii U. This goes for any product, not just in this case. Luckily I was able to get a Deluxe model at GameStop, but had I not been able to I would just wait. Patience is a virtue, and in this case will save you a ton of money and piss off a worthless human being
