I was going to buy resident evil 4 as I haven’t played it since the GameCube days and have a lot of nostalgia for it. £30 is too much for me to justify a purchase. It’s just poor value for money, the game is old now. Just as a comparison, it only cost me £17 for Wargroove and I’ve already got 65 hours out of that brilliant new game.

Good news. Probably get Wargroove 2 on Switch 2 now.

Looks interesting from the videos I’ve seen. Might end up getting this eventually. Though I’m not exactly short of games to play atm.

Another free game is always welcome. Nothing lost if it turns out pants. What’s not to like? Fortnite turned out ok, cost me nothing and I’ve put 45 hours into it.

Wargroove is brilliant so far. I’ve paid £50 for far worse games than this!

@SegaBlueSky you could argue not bringing it to a territory is the ultimate form of censorship. The uproar it would have caused from a very vocal minority made it not worth the bother.

Censorship is almost never a good thing. To steal a famous quote. Censorship is like telling a man he can’t order a steak because a baby can’t chew it.

@RadioShadow this ‘can’t do that in case you offend somebody somewhere’ modern culture that we’ve got will start coming for the violent games once they’ve rid us of the titty games. It will happen.

Where is all this ultimately leading us? I wonder how sanitised and sterile our future is going to be? If the ultimate goal is not to offend anyone, we aren’t gonna have much left eventually.

Played this already. Not buying again. Ubisoft gave us a great game in Mario rabbids on the Switch, more like that would be much better to me than old ports like this.

Nintendo normally go to extremes to prove that they are family friendly and then we’ve got this.

Love crazy stuff like this that pushes the limit of what is possible in a game. Nice way to earn a living to. I know some of these guys make good money.

Really looking forward to this one. I played a lot of the previous entry on Wii U with my wife.

I would like switch 2 in about 4 years. Basically more power and a bit of tweaking here and there. I don’t think that’s gonna happen though. They will probably surprise everyone like they usually do and I will probably be just as hyped as I usually am 😂

I’m playing Civ 6 at the moment. It’s the only game I’ve played since I downloaded it over Christmas.

Cannot wait for fire emblem, Metroid, and hopefully Pikmin 4. This will be a glorious year of gaming. Only Nintendo still gets me this excited about games. Love the Switch!

I find it difficult to get excited for ports that I’ve already played, when I could be thinking of getting new games. What’s wrong with asking for sequels instead? I realise ports take less time but they often don’t cost less and I’ve already played them. Hard pass from me.

I’ve got a 3DS. Not hyped for any ports to be honest. Thanks though

@Octorok385 I’ve got to be honest I agree with all that. I just find it personally frustrating, especially when it feels like we are getting a port from a series instead of a new game. That’s all.

@Octorok385 sounds great if you are a shareholder. I prefer new Nintendo games.

Funnily enough I rebought Skyrim because I thought I’d have more use out of it in portable. I didn’t really get back into it.

I’m not hating on anyone that regularly rebuys games though good luck to anyone that does that. Honestly hope you enjoy them.

I’m assuming a basic game would take a couple of years to make. I’m assuming a port would take a couple of months? I would take one new game over numerous ports which could be done in the same time frame. Cheers

@Quarth instead of having teams working on ports, why can’t they have those teams working on new games? I’d take one new game over ten ports.

New games please. If I could have 10 ports of games I’ve recently played or 1 new game I would ALWAYS pick 1 new game. Let’s not pretend they can click their fingers and bring a port over, they’ve got teams working on this. Get the team working on new stuff. I love Nintendo and I love new Nintendo games!
