The Cold Steel series takes place in Erebonia, which is Germany, kinda. To support that theory, there are locations with German names in Erebonia, the inclusion of Germanic mythology, and (military) vehicles with German names. ...Also it's a kinda aggressive country, that's really obsessed with Belgium uhm I mean Crossbell. And they're fighting their own people in the first two Cold Steel games because of class-system reasons. They even destroyed a village within the country borders and blamed it on Liberl, used that fake-reason to invade them. But that happened before CS1. However... Doesn't sound very Japanese High School to me... If you ask me. I also think that Emma, Alisa, Altina, Fie, Laura, Sara, Duvalie, Jusis, Rean, Lloyd, etc aren't really Japanese names... One of the characters is named Rixia (I know, English is weird, so, try to say it like this: Ree-shee-uh), which is in fact Chinese. Hmm... So many Japanese people in this so called "Japanese High School" setting... Also, it's only the first Cold Steel game (which actually is the sixth game of the whole series) where you're doing school stuff.

@shining_nexus But beating games IS fun. :3 When I was looking at PlayStation profiles of other people and saw that they have 0-3 trophies on most of their games I always wondered what a nice childhood they had. I mean, I would never buy a 60€ game just to test it for an hour and never touch it ever again... Sure, my childhood was garbage, but at least things have a value to me. I beat my games. I have my laptop for 33% of my lifetime now. But it's still doing its job. I only upgraded the RAM from 4 to 8 GB... No need to replace the entire machine. I don't even understand why people want new phones every year. That's a massive waste of resources in my opinion... And yeah, I will always play Pokemon. It doesn't matter if I die first or the series dies first. I will be there until the end. Awww you skipped the GBA games and started with S/M? How could you... Go and buy OR/AS for 3DS! :3 Also, if you're working on the Pokedex... OR/AS has the most Pokemon4buck, also nearly all legendary Pokemon. I started collecting Pokemon when Nintendo was like "Here you've Pokemon Bank. A cloud storage for Pokemon! Just 5€ A YEAR. ...please? :3". Before that I only tried to collect all the animals locally in the game. But had no way to transfer them somewhere else. So, Pokemon Bank made my Pokemon experience a lot nicer.
Well, the Switch version is 15€/year, but it's okay because it comes with an app for the phone too and the phone app has the GTS and the Wondertrade (Bank on 3DS was only a big pc-box basically). Also, Pokemon Home and Switch Online combined are still half the price of PlayStation Plus... <shrugs>

If you want to play an MMO try Final Fantasy XIV. It's not just a better game, but the community (tried three different servers) is overall more mature, calm and friendly. Sure you've "weird" people there too, but not that many and they usually stay with each other and you don't see them in public.

I don't see how you need to be a nerd to understand that a console that says "New" IN THE PRODUCT NAME is probably better than the one without it... I'm aware that most people are kinda stupid... I don't care if there's a Pro or not, really. Though, if there's going to be one I'm going to get one. I don't need a "premium" console, whatever that's, I go where the Japanese games are. The path Sony (or rather PlayStation California, the HQ since 2016) is taking is going to reduce the amount of Japanese games on PlayStation, which is why I'm on Nintendo now for a Month. There are a lot of people, and even companies (some of them even said they're stopping to support PlayStation. And Switch got a lot of ports lately and will get a lot of ports in future), angry at Sony at the moment. Where else are we supposed to go if not to Nintendo? Exactly. The XBox X and even a NASA PC wouldn't do anything for me. I'm pretty sure Nintendo noticed too that there's quite a movement at the moment. I'm for sure not the only person who switched from a PS4 Pro to a Switch.
And what most people tend to forget, as you can see in this comment section here too, is that there are more games out there than western Triple-Meh bLocKbuStoRs, Nintendo and indies. There are a lot of people out there who barely play western games. I would rather have a good story and well written characters (that also have a frickin backstory!!) than TripleMeh graphics... But yeah whatever... The last TripleA game I played was FarCry New Dawn. It was a gift, would've never bought that because I was done with Ubipoop. I dunno, it was as "empty" as all the other western games. You're nobody, have no story, have not really anything to say, run around forever, kill thousands of people for no real reason, horribly written characters, nearly non-existent story... Boring...
So, if a Switch Pro brings more Japangames, sure, why not? Also, it would maybe be an option for SquareEnix to put Final Fantasy somewhere, if the PS5 version isn't going to sell acceptable. And I was new to completing games (also new to PlayStation and that game was "free" in Plus) and so I wanted to see myself how a 10/10 difficulty game is like... uhm... Lets just say, for comparison, Dark Souls is a 7.5/10 in difficulty. But other people make Giana Sisters look like they would do that while sleep walking... There are videos on Youtube where they beat Uber Hardcore mode, where you only have one life FOR THE ENTIRE GAME, in less than an hour. Well it's not 100%ed because you need to collect stuff... but... still...
Oh by the way, Crash 4 is a 9/10 in terms of trophy difficulty. So, it's harder than Dark Souls but easier than Giana Sisters. Would I like to do that... hmm...

@shining_nexus Currently taking a break. I feel like wanting to play Pokemon now. But I don't own Pokemon at the moment. However my Pokemon Home Premium is still going (because I'm doing a Living Dex. Which means, that you OWN every Pokemon and their pre-evolutions and whatever)... I set that up a year ago when I had a Switch Lite only for Pokemon. I also own the expansion pass for Pokemon Sword. The downside is, DLC2 brings FIVE new legendaries. The story legendary, two regies and two horses. However you need to CHOOSE one regi and one horse. If you want to have the other ones you need to start a new game (and Pokemon only has one savefile). I was able to get one regi and one horse via trading in Pokemon Home. So, when I get Pokemon Sword again next month I can play DLC2 and choose the other regi and the other horse and DAM-DADAM-DAAA~!!! So, when I'm done with DLC2 I would be at 883/898 Pokemon... The only other Pokemon I don't have are event Pokemon that Nintendo gifts away sometimes or you need to get a code from GameStop...
But aside from these I would be done then. NEW GENERATION, WHEN?? It's cool that Gen4-Remakes are coming and that GameFreak is with Legends Arceus trying do something new... But... I want to collect new animals, please? :3

2013 I decided to get a PS3 and to play Japanese games. Because western games are boring and have no soul, no heart, and I liked my GBA games. That was nice on PS3, felt "at home"... Later I started watching anime in Japanese... Which was an improvement, because I always hated dubbed anime.
Then I decided that's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Being alone, like I always have been, but now while doing stuff I enjoy, without being abused and bullied by everyone and being a victim of "friends".
Wish I had a caring big sister that cuddles and headpats me... that knows how to cook... I'm actually happy that some psychiatrist sent me into early retirement because high level social phobia and autism, which I likely developed because I was alone all my life and not even my "mother" cared. It's just Aspergers though. That's that one that makes you socially a potato and everyone hates you for reasons you don't understand, but makes you cakewalk school... Oh. I tried going back to school. Seeking higher education. Well that was surprisingly way too easy and I had no problems with any test, BUT... 2social4me. Well, as a retiree it doesn't matter if I have reports and degrees or not. I can learn and grow with apps, books and Wikipedia too.

If you take a look at how very different the 3DS and the New3DS are I'm actually surprised that nothing more happened with it... I had a 2DS and a New3DSXL. The performance improvement was quite noticeable... Pokemon ORAS even had moments that felt like the 2DS would think about what's supposed to do.

@BloodNinja Well, it's against the rules to say the F word here. So I said "adulting females". That apparently is a more and more common feature in western games these days. (In Cyberpunk random women on the street ask you if you want her to make you harder than your childhood. And you can even accept it. But that's okay, because it's a western game...?) While on the other hand western people freak out when you literally just headpat an animegirl in a Japanese game. I don't get why they think about female bodies all day or how THAT seems to be no problem (Personally I would consider it sexist to reduce women to their shapes and that society seems to see them only as a "bed toy"...).
Funfact: CERO (Japanese age rating) doesn't even allow nudity or "adulting" in games. Japanese games are in Japan itself even more innocent than their international releases are. Maybe you heard that Smash Brawl came later in Japan. That was because CERO wasn't happy with how some female characters have been dressed. Which means that the system works, I really don't understand why PlayStationUS is so aggressively overreacting on Japanese games. Even Nintendo is more cool with stuff than PlayStation. Japan is currently pretty pissed at Sony (so are fans of Japanese games, like me. That's why I'm here now. Well, not regretting it. Nintendo games are fun... Played my first Mario since GBA and I was surprised how much joy it brings me... BotW even stopped me hating OpenWorld games...), or rather PlayStation, that has its HQ in California for some years now and make the decisions. Sony Japan doesn't really have a lot to say anymore. You can see that easily at nearly all the PlayStation events. You'll mostly see Americans there these days. The only recent (from the last years) Japanese PlayStation video I remember was when that one guy opened the PS5 to show us what's inside.
They also have set up some new rules that for whatever reason only apply to Japanese games. Because headpatting an animegirl is bad, but... uhm... "adulting" your way through western games is completely fine. On PlayStation you literally get trophies for... "adulting" females. I was also kinda surprised that when I was playing Assassins Creed Origins that there are some women that walk around without wearing anything on the top, having their bare chests showing. If that would be a Japanese game half the world would tilt because animugirl badd!!1...
That's pretty unfair and some developers said that they're going to stop supporting PlayStation. That's probably the reason why there are so many ports for Switch lately or why Persona 5 Strikers (Persona is a SpinOff of Shin Megami Tensei. But Persona was mostly for PlayStation and SMT mostly for Nintendo.) is on Switch. Or why I havn't heard much about J-Games for PS5, besides Final Fantasy XVI and Neptunia ReVerse (which is a remaster of a PS4 game which is a remaster of a Vita game which is a remake of a PS3 game.) Most J-Games I'm aware about are either for PS4 but with ports for Switch, games that got ported afterwards to Switch, or cancelled on PlayStation at all.
So... Everyone's mad at Sony or PlayStationUS (heck they even decided to change the button layout for the Japanese market on PS5... How ignorant and rude can you be? As if BLOCKING games wasn't disrespectful enough yet... Oh well, if they're going to piss off SquareEnix at some point in the future the PlayStation will be dead in Japan and for J-Fans.), there are barely news about games for PS5, but that companies are thinking about switching to Nintendo. That's probably also a reason why the Switch sales are exploding again.
Oh. Have you heard about Phantasy Star Online 2? Outside of Japan it will not come for PS, but for... XBox. That's... an interesting move... But I guess that's what you get when you make people angry. (NA: Win, XBO, XSX - JP: Win, NS, PS4)
@Onion I don't get it either. When I played Pokemon Blue on Gameboy and later Yellow on Gameboy Color... I loved it. How the remastered sprites looked in color, how routes and cities had their own colors. It was a nice touch.

Like, a new CoD, a new AC, a new NFS, a new FIFA (or some random EA Sports game nobody outside the US cares about.), any other boring western TripleMeh-bLockBusToR that floods you with microtransaction when you open the menu, has no soul and has a seasonpass announced before the game even got released (Look at that Assassins Creed with the Zelda-skin. Something something Fenyx Rising. Game wasn't even available and they happily talked about having a seasonpass. Western Gaming Culture at its best...)... Would rather watch the TGS instead. ...If at all.
I don't know why I'm watching Nintendo Directs, but they're at least interesting and kinda "magical". Well and sometimes they surprise me. Like. From all studios that ever worked on Pokemon games (you would be surprised about how many companies work(ed) on Pokemon...) how is GameFreak the one working on something like Legends Arceus? WHAT HAPPENED?! Haha
...Have seen all of the Directs for some years now, even though I just joined the red team around two weeks ago. But I can tell that Sakurai is breaking the internet on a yearly base or something. And that Aonuma has the power to make everyone cry.

@shining_nexus About Trails... This series is splitted into arcs. Trails in the Sky is the Liberl arc Ao and Zero no Kiseki are the Crossbell arc. Trails of Cold Steel is the Erebonia arc. Trails in the Dark (coming to Japan this year) will start the Calvard arc. These games combined tell the "The Legend of Heroes" story, but if you start with Cold Steel 1 or wait for Trails in the Dark to enter the series here it will be good enough. Because every arc takes place in a different country and from their point of view, with different people. Like, in Sky1 you're playing as Estelle and Joshua, who are both adopted by Cassius Bright and want to become bracers in Liberl. (It's not really a spoiler because the game tells you that at the beginning in the prologue.). In Cold Steel1 you're Rean Schwarzer who just arrived by train and is going to attend to Thors Military Academy in Erebonia. If you only played CS3 and for 30 hours I don't know how much you know eg about Ouroboros yet but this group existed since the first game. Only Falcom knows what their goal is at this point, because the members aren't openly talking about it and Ouroboros grants them the freedom to do whatever they want to do as long they don't disturb the plan. But at the end of CS4 I think you can see a short videoscene with a hologram of their "leader" (It's just a hologram. We don't know who it is.) and they said that despite what happened everything is still going like planned.
However, if you're okay with PC gaming, you can play all Trails games on PC. It's one of these rare JRPGs that got developed for PC too. As you can see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Heroes the series is even older than consoles. Though, you can ignore the games from the Gagharv and Dragon Slayer sub-series. They aren't related with Trails in any way besides the name. If you've a modded Vita you can play all games from Sky1 to CS2 on Vita. Then you could play CS3 and 4 on Switch and everything's cool, right? Though, Ao and Zero are as said Japanese only. And if you don't want to English patch the Vita versions of the Sky games you would need to play the PSP versions of it. Sky3 though never came in English to PSP.
Hmm... Poor Crossbell experienced a lot of ***** meanwhile. It's the Belgium of the last century, if you know what I mean. But you maybe noticed yourself that there's a lot of random German in Cold Steel (and that Erebonia is very aggressive). Like a tank series called Achtzehn (18), a high speed train called Eisengraf (Iron Count) or a location called Schwarz Drache Barrier (which got written wrong, but means Black Dragon Barrier). There you can totally realistically meet random women on the street that ask if they should make you harder than your childhood (Cyberpunk) have sliders to adjust the sizes of your chest and your PP (Cyberpunk), can go to a stripclub, get a lapdance and pay a woman for "services" (GTA), get achievements for having bedsport (AC Odyssey or Dragon Age eg. In Dragon Age you can even do all of your followers the first time you reach your camp. The only thing you need to do is giving them a cake you can buy for 50 silvers at the merchant that's standing forever in said camp. A+ character design...), can see the bare chests of women (AC Origins), have big empty worlds with questmarkers that are literally 20 kilometers away and that are boring in general but hey at least it looks reALisTiC and you can totally realistically kill humans every couple of meters because everyone wants to hurt you (anything Ubisoft, really).. and aaaaall the other stupid garbage you've in these "realistic" western games...
...But when I HEADPAT a fully covered girl in my "weird Japanese crap" games everyone is losing their mind and crying about sexism and whatever. Heck, the UN even wanted to ban all Japanese stuff. Japan sent a WOMAN to defend anime, manga and Japanese videogames and she destroyed them. Also, a lot of Japanese stuff actually is made by women or involve a lot of female employees (A lot of the dirtiest hentai-manga you can find are actually drawn by women.). Why does the west, that's okay with guns, killing people (In Japanese games you often fight monters and stuff. Rarely people. And to be honest I prefer it this way. Apparently a human life is worthless in the west. Even trashenemies are humans...) and achievements for bedsports so much against Japanese stuff that they even want to destroy the jobs of women they claim to protect?
Which is just another reason why I avoid "realistic" games, because politics and such. People are too much drama... it's exhausting...
And why do people even whine about games anyway? There are so many games out there, just play something else and let the people who like their games like their games? Why is everyone these days complaining about literally everything? I mean, yeah, I don't like Ubisoft anymore. But you know what? I'm just not playing their games anymore. Simply as that.
@shining_nexus I played AC up to including Odyssey, FC from 3 to NewDawn, and the first two WatchDogs. It's all kinda the same, except that your armory and the graphics change...
I was interested in giving Fenyx Rising a chance, now that it looks at least graphically appealing to me... I tried the demo and.. When A DEMO starts with "Follow a questmarker that's some kilometers away!" that's already a bad sign. The way back was even more stupid because when you left first you went downhill and glided over water too. It's apparently a typical Ubisoft game, just with nicer graphics. But if you want it maybe wait a bit. At some point their Gold-Editions are 30€ or below.
About Trails. Hmm... I heard that Hajimari is supposed to come to the west this year. I also read that Falcom ported the Ao and Zero games from PSP to PS4, which means we will probably get them in the west for the first time too. But Ao and Zero are probably graphically not appealing to newcomers to the series. They're in beautiful oldschool 2D-ish graphics. <3
I don't know if Falcom really is going to cover the Switch or if they are with CS3 and 4, YS:O, YS8 and YS9 just testing... But, yeah, would be nice if I could play their games on Nintendo in future too. I just sold my PS4 two days ago...

Nintendo showed me that OpenWorld games don't need to be boring, monotone, empty (as in lacking a soul and heart) and filled with "Travel 15 kilometers because the questmarker is on the other side of the map that has the size of a whole planet and kill 500 humans (Why do enemies in western games nearly always need to be humans?) on the way there, that are actually totally irrelevant for you but you've face-aggro every couple of meters" 'gameplay' like Ubisoft does it in all their games...
Good that it says Zelda, otherwise I would've skipped this beauty just because Ubisoft destroyed the entire genre for me... Well, I also liked Dragon Age more before Bioware made it into a semi-openworld. Horizon Zero Dawn had an interesting setting but the game bored me already after a couple of hours.
Good that at least Nintendo and their partners are still producing quality games that are worth the money. I feel like the Switch was my best investment since years...
And when Falcom keeps making The Legend of Heroes for Switch too, well, I couldn't be more happier! Except... is going to order a pizza and a bottle DocP

I was watching the Pokemon Direct without any hype, but wanted to listen what they've to say.
Chibi DP surprised me a bit. And, well, it looks so cute... Then I saw it's from ILCA and wondered what GameFreak was doing all the time.
Then they dropped the Arceus trailer and it looked really nice and all... Probably the first game ever I'm going to pre-order... But who developed this? ...What? GameFreak? Seriously? What happened? Well, it's good that they opened up for something new.
Also, it looks like some older Japan. As you can see from the buldings and how the protagonist is dressed. And that the focus is on Arceus is kinda interesting. Because in Pokemon Arceus is God. The trailer also said that we're working on the FIRST Pokedex ever, which means we aren't going to have a stupid Rotomdex. That's a big plus. :3
I'm going to buy both games. Chibi-Gen4 and BotW-Pokemon? Yass, please!

About retail games... uhm... I don't like it when I have too much stuff at home. There also isn't a single reason to collect all that plastic at home in 2021. A lot of my wishlist is digital only anyway.

I don't think there's a canon age for Link. As far I understood it it's always a different Link and Zelda in most cases. It has been yeeeeears since I played a Zelda, but was Windwaker eg not talking about a legend about a hero and whatever and then the Link we played there just randomly steps into their footprints, basically?
Also... The HW2 Zelda (only played the demo so far) said that her powers aren't awaken yet and that she doesn't know what to do to get them. She also said that with the Shiekah stones even she could fight. Witch means that the HW2 Zelda is weaker than the other Zeldas. (The other ones are able to fight without them. And there's Shiek. And she's a character in Smash, as Zelda and as Shiek.) So, either it's a different Zelda/Link in most of the times... or in 50 years Nintendo will maybe show us the official real timeline and we would see that HW2 is canonly one of the first, maybe even the first Zelda game. ...Or Nintendo is just going to say "Well, that's why the games are called 'THE LEGEND of Zelda' it's just a fairy tale, you know? Did you never hear about the Lindworm or Claiomh Solais, for example? What about the legend about some kid pulling a sword from a stone and becoming a king?"
But as said, I havn't played a Zelda in yeeears. So, I can't really remember how things piece together, if they do at all. Because as said, I feel like they're always different people.. or dimensions... or world lines... or times lines... whatever.
.....And yes, I'm going to play BotW next week, when I have the expansion pass, I promise... Don't stress me! If I'm lucky I get my money on Friday. I dunno, it's February... who knows...

@Juga I nerded myself through the entire Trails of Cold Steel series on PlayStation in go. It took me two months of playing all day to obtain these four platinum trophies. (only stopped by sleeping, eating and sitting on the toilet ...uhm... I'm in early retirement because... Let's just say that for me it's very scary outside my house, that I even buy my food on the internet, and that the average person is talking more in ten minutes than I'm in three decades. Which means I can't work as anything. I can write pretty openly though...). But it was totally worth it, because the Trails series is the best RPG series of all time. What I did afterwards you wonder? I played the three Trails in the Sky games on PSP. Too bad that Aoi and Zero no Kiseki never made it into the west... But Falcom ported these two to PS4 last year, which means there is a chance we get these two games in the west this time! :3 Hopefully even for Switch (it has ColdSteel3 and 4. So there is a chance!), because I sold all my Sony stuff, except the Vita.
What I want to tell you is... Just give me the Zelda already, thanks. Hmm... I don't think BotW2 comes this year though. On the one side it would be nice, because of the birthday. But on the other side, Nintendo can't really do anything (like Mario 3D All-Stars.. or anything) because they wouldn't want to distract from BotW2 if it really comes this year. And if people would just get BotW2 and ignore the "Zelda 3D All-Stars" (or whatever) then it would be bad for Nintendo, because company don't want you to spend money in three months. They want you to spend it NOW. What's the English word... Fiscal year, or something.

Hmm... Yes, when I moved from PS3SS to PS4P my energy bill went up like 50€ per 3 months. Guess the energy bill will chill now that I have replaced the PS4P with a Switch haha... Sure, first party games on Switch are not in a price range I'm used to... They're 60€. On PlayStation I bought everything aside TRAILS games for 20€ or less. But I already noticed that Nintendo has great deals on third party games on the eShop. I can live with that... Kinda sad that I don't have money left to spend on games this month. Well... If I'm lucky someone is coming today buying my PS4P.

If their stupid rules would at least apply to western games too, then it would be fair. But they don't. In western games you can murder (It's even hard to find a game that doesn't spill liters of blood every couple of meters...), have sex, torture, see nudes, in Cyberpunk you have sliders for your peenus and your tiddies, and random females ask you if you want them to make you harder than your childhood. In western games you even get rewarded with trophies/achievements for having sex... And their stupid rules that are in summary basically simply "JAPAN BAD!!!1". Some devs said they are going to stop making games for PlayStation. A lot of games came or are going to come to Nintendo.

Picked up a Switch this week because I moved from PlayStation due to reasons and I didn't want to wait until NewSwitchXL anymore. That would have meant at least a full year without games! What sad life would that be?! So... Currently playing Mario 3D World. Of course with all stars, stamps and poles. I was a trophy huntress, and old habits die hard. I don't think I'm going to complete it this weekend (Or maybe I do. Currently in the Bowser world.). But afterwards I would play Bowsers Fury. And then Breath of the Wild. Yeah, I'm a bit late to the party...

Aside that I don't understand what's wrong with "anime high school" in a JRPG I need to inform you that you judged the setting too early. It's a European setting. The Cold Steel series takes place in Erebonia, which is Germany, kinda. To support that theory, there are locations with German names in Erebonia, the inclusion of Germanic mythology, and (military) vehicles with German names. ...Also it's a kinda aggressive country, that's really obsessed with Belgium uhm I mean Crossbell. And they're fighting their own people in the first two Cold Steel games because of class-system reasons. They even destroyed a village within the country borders and blamed it on Liberl, used that fake-reason to invade them. But that happened before CS1.
However... Doesn't sound very Japanese High School to me... If you ask me. I also think that Emma, Alisa, Altina, Fie, Laura, Sara, Duvalie, Jusis, Rean, Lloyd, etc aren't really Japanese names... One of the characters is named Rixia (I know, English is weird, so, try to say it like this: Ree-shee-uh), which is in fact Chinese. Hmm... So many Japanese people in this so called "Japanese High School" setting...
Also, it's only the first Cold Steel game (which actually is the sixth game of the whole series) where you're doing school stuff.

I would be okay with these tiny apartments because my 40sqm apartment is imo too big for me anyway. But... these rents, dude! Also, that city really has more people than my entire country!

@shining_nexus But beating games IS fun. :3 When I was looking at PlayStation profiles of other people and saw that they have 0-3 trophies on most of their games I always wondered what a nice childhood they had. I mean, I would never buy a 60€ game just to test it for an hour and never touch it ever again...
Sure, my childhood was garbage, but at least things have a value to me. I beat my games. I have my laptop for 33% of my lifetime now. But it's still doing its job. I only upgraded the RAM from 4 to 8 GB... No need to replace the entire machine. I don't even understand why people want new phones every year. That's a massive waste of resources in my opinion... But oh well, there are still a lot of people out there who collect retail games... in 2021... WASTE. OF. RESOURCES.
And yeah, I will always play Pokemon. It doesn't matter if I die first or the series dies first. I will be there until the end.
Awww you skipped the GBA games and started with S/M? How could you... Go and buy OR/AS for 3DS! :3 Also, if you're working on the Pokedex... OR/AS has the most Pokemon4buck, also nearly all legendary Pokemon. I started collecting Pokemon when Nintendo was like "Here you've Pokemon Bank. A cloud storage for Pokemon! Just 5€ A YEAR. ...please? :3". Before that I only tried to collect all the animals locally in the game. But had no way to transfer them somewhere else. So, Pokemon Bank made my Pokemon experience a lot nicer.
Well, the Switch version is 15€/year, but it's okay because it comes with an app for the phone too and the phone app has the GTS and the Wondertrade (Bank on 3DS was only a big pc-box basically). Also, Pokemon Home and Switch Online combined are still half the price of PlayStation Plus... <shrugs>
It's okay that you skipped the DS games. There will be D/P remake at the end of 2021 for Switch. And, awww... I love that artstyle. It's so cuuuute!! <3

No. Way too many people. Tokyo alone has more people than my entire country. Their xenophobia wouldn't bother me though. As someone who grew up with mostly Turks and Arabs, very rarely hearing my own native language and feeling misplaced all my life (like, really, who placed my spawn point here? And no, I wouldn't wish to be Japanese myself, if that would be your next question on that. The Japanese are very polite but they don't "mean it". It's just about manners and local customs. Look at voice actresses (or a girl band) for example. They're very popular in Japan. But one just needs to say that she has a boyfriend and that would ruin her whole career in an instant. Or, look at Kana Hanazawa for example, she's a so extremely popular voice actress that to protect her males are sometimes not allowed to visit fan-meetings.
So, if I would be Japanese and would look okay-ish enough or would be popular for whatever reason I would have an army of simps that worship me but dump me when I get older or have a boyfriend? Yeah, no... thanks...
The Japanese in general also tend to work way too much and if you don't fit into the system (like I obviously do not) everyone is going to treat you like garbage.

If you want to play an MMO try Final Fantasy XIV. It's not just a better game, but the community (tried three different servers) is overall more mature, calm and friendly. Sure you've "weird" people there too, but not that many and they usually stay with each other and you don't see them in public.

I don't care if there's a Pro or not, really. Though, if there's going to be one I'm going to get one. I don't need a "premium" console, whatever that's, I go where the Japanese games are. The path Sony (or rather PlayStation California, the HQ since 2016) is taking is going to reduce the amount of Japanese games on PlayStation, which is why I'm on Nintendo now for a Month. There are a lot of people, and even companies (some of them even said they're stopping to support PlayStation. And Switch got a lot of ports lately and will get a lot of ports in future), angry at Sony at the moment. Where else are we supposed to go if not to Nintendo? Exactly. The XBox X and even a NASA PC wouldn't do anything for me. I'm pretty sure Nintendo noticed too that there's quite a movement at the moment. I'm for sure not the only person who switched from a PS4 Pro to a Switch.
And what most people tend to forget, as you can see in this comment section here too, is that there are more games out there than western Triple-Meh bLocKbuStoRs, Nintendo and indies. There are a lot of people out there who barely play western games. I would rather have a good story and well written characters (that also have a frickin backstory!!) than TripleMeh graphics... But yeah whatever... The last TripleA game I played was FarCry New Dawn. It was a gift, would've never bought that because I was done with Ubipoop. I dunno, it was as "empty" as all the other western games. You're nobody, have no story, have not really anything to say, run around forever, kill thousands of people for no real reason, horribly written characters, nearly non-existent story... Boring...
So, if a Switch Pro brings more Japangames, sure, why not? Also, it would maybe be an option for SquareEnix to put Final Fantasy somewhere, if the PS5 version isn't going to sell acceptable. I mean, everyone knows it doesn't look that nextgen-y because they've a PS4-release as Plan B.
However, most people don't care about Japanese games anyway, because even on a fan-site for a Japanese console (...here) the boring people are angry about "weird Japanese crap". WRONG PLATFORM, DUDE!! <sigh> Meh... Anyway, when most people don't care about these games or about ports of western games (by the way, if you didn't yet get Saints Row 3. @TheLightSpirit Please teach us, nyaster. :3 Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams was un-100%-able for me. I was interested in that because it's rated a 10/10 in trophy difficulty. And I was new to completing games (also new to PlayStation and that game was "free" in Plus) and so I wanted to see myself how a 10/10 difficulty game is like... uhm... Lets just say, for comparison, Dark Souls is a 7.5/10 in difficulty. But other people make Giana Sisters look like they would do that while sleep walking... There are videos on Youtube where they beat Uber Hardcore mode, where you only have one life FOR THE ENTIRE GAME, in less than an hour. Well it's not 100%ed because you need to collect stuff... but... still...
Oh by the way, Crash 4 is a 9/10 in terms of trophy difficulty. So, it's harder than Dark Souls but easier than Giana Sisters. Would I like to do that... hmm...

@shining_nexus Currently taking a break. I feel like wanting to play Pokemon now. But I don't own Pokemon at the moment. However my Pokemon Home Premium is still going (because I'm doing a Living Dex. Which means, that you OWN every Pokemon and their pre-evolutions and whatever)... I set that up a year ago when I had a Switch Lite only for Pokemon. I also own the expansion pass for Pokemon Sword. The downside is, DLC2 brings FIVE new legendaries. The story legendary, two regies and two horses. However you need to CHOOSE one regi and one horse. If you want to have the other ones you need to start a new game (and Pokemon only has one savefile). I was able to get one regi and one horse via trading in Pokemon Home. So, when I get Pokemon Sword again next month I can play DLC2 and choose the other regi and the other horse and DAM-DADAM-DAAA~!!! So, when I'm done with DLC2 I would be at 883/898 Pokemon... The only other Pokemon I don't have are event Pokemon that Nintendo gifts away sometimes or you need to get a code from GameStop...
But aside from these I would be done then. NEW GENERATION, WHEN?? It's cool that Gen4-Remakes are coming and that GameFreak is with Legends Arceus trying do something new... But... I want to collect new animals, please? :3
However, I don't own Pokemon Sword right now. So I'm playing Mario 3D World. I'm in the Crown World, where the Champions Road is. Oh well that might take a while...
I'm also nearly halfway done with Bowsers Fury (going by insignias).
So, when I have both of them done I could sell that maybe. I have that and Zelda retail because I noticed AFTERWARDS that Nintendo learned how to do sales meanwhile! I prefer digital... I hate it to have too much stuff at home. Or when more than half of the games collection doesn't exist retail but you still have retail games for whatever reason...
Oh yeah, going to 100% BotW too. Because that's what I do. Playing games until they are done.

Someone annoyed me so much that I stole Pokemon from them. I had a Gameboy Color, from my grandma, also Mario Land 2, Wario Land 1 and 2, Doctor Mario and Pokemon TCG later. I had "fathers" old PCs and some pirated mainstream triple-meh bLockBusToR games my "father" gave me I didn't really enjoy but played them all day long to skip time, because I was all alone and nobody cared about me in any way. Also gave me a Pokemon Silver cartridge that looked obviously like a pirated version... Felt cheap, looked cheap, and the ingame time was always wrong. Also gave me a Gameboy Advance at my birthday. I had Golden Sun 2, Breath of Fire 2, Pokemon Sapphire, Mario 2 and 3 and Zelda ALTTP and MC. They had been fun...

2005 I was in apprenticeship. And thought that I would have friends. Well of course I had none. I never had. And people who act like my friends always backstabbed me at some point... 2013 I decided to get a PS3 and to play Japanese games. Because western games are boring and have no soul, no heart, and I liked my GBA games. That was nice on PS3, felt "at home"... Later I started watching anime in Japanese... Which was an improvement, because I always hated dubbed anime.
Then I decided that's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Being alone, like I always have been, but now while doing stuff I enjoy, without being abused and bullied by everyone and being a victim of "friends".
Wish I had a caring big sister that cuddles and headpats me... that knows how to cook... I'm actually happy that some psychiatrist sent me into early retirement because high level social phobia and autism, which I likely developed because I was alone all my life and not even my "mother" cared. It's just Aspergers though. That's that one that makes you socially a potato and everyone hates you for reasons you don't understand, but makes you cakewalk school... Oh. I tried going back to school. Seeking higher education. Well that was surprisingly way too easy and I had no problems with any test, BUT... 2social4me. Well, as a retiree it doesn't matter if I have reports and degrees or not. I can learn and grow with apps, books and Wikipedia too.

If you take a look at how very different the 3DS and the New3DS are I'm actually surprised that nothing more happened with it... I had a 2DS and a New3DSXL. The performance improvement was quite noticeable... Pokemon ORAS even had moments that felt like the 2DS would think about what's supposed to do.

That's on the paper a really intense upgrade... Looks a lot more intense than what Pro and X are for PS and XBox. And they didn't do anything with it besides Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade 3D. Oh well and Hyrule Warriors ran like garbage on the 2DS but, yeah what do you expect from a singlecore at 268MHz, really? Why are people whining so much about it? I don't get it. Nobody is forcing you to buy it, but when you don't want to buy it you need to live with the consequences of your actions. Why are people always angry and blaming other for their own actions?

(In Cyberpunk random women on the street ask you if you want her to make you harder than your childhood. And you can even accept it. But that's okay, because it's a western game...?) While on the other hand western people freak out when you literally just headpat an animegirl in a Japanese game. I don't get why they think about female bodies all day or how THAT seems to be no problem (Personally I would consider it sexist to reduce women to their shapes and that society seems to see them only as a "bed toy"...).
Funfact: CERO (Japanese age rating) doesn't even allow nudity or "adulting" in games. Japanese games are in Japan itself even more innocent than their international releases are. Maybe you heard that Smash Brawl came later in Japan. That was because CERO wasn't happy with how some female characters have been dressed. Which means that the system works, I really don't understand why PlayStationUS is so aggressively overreacting on Japanese games. Even Nintendo is more cool with stuff than PlayStation. What a time to be alive... Nintendo said that they trust in CERO, PEGI, USK, ESRB, whatever, to do their job. PlayStationUS on the other hand wants Japanese devs to send their games to them first and when PS says No, the game is BLOCKED until they change it how PS wants it to be. That's stupid because in western games people even EXPECT to be able to "adult around". People asked CD Projekt what "adulting positions" you can do in Cyperpunk...

I think most people didn't even watch the scene. I read comments that said that everyone should skip the scene because she is a minor and how can they even do that and blah. I DID watch the scene and AS EXPECTED nothing happened. I have no idea why western people think about "adulting" and the female anatomy all day long... or why they believe that Japanese stuff is so dirty... What's wrong with people? Even on this Nintendo site people complain about "weird Japanese crap", even though Nintendo IS a Japanese company lol, when they watch Directs. I have no idea where else I'm supposed to go when hypocrite westeners ruin Nintendo too one day just because people obviously have issues and need to think about pervert stuff ALL DAY LONG and believe for whatever reason that Japan is the worst, while western games literally give you achievements for "doing people"... Japan is currently pretty pissed at Sony (so are fans of Japanese games, like me. That's why I'm here now. Well, not regretting it. Nintendo games are fun... Played my first Mario since GBA and I was surprised how much joy it brings me... BotW even stopped me hating OpenWorld games...), or rather PlayStation, that has its HQ in California for some years now and make the decisions. Sony Japan doesn't really have a lot to say anymore. You can see that easily at nearly all the PlayStation events. You'll mostly see Americans there these days. The only recent (from the last years) Japanese PlayStation video I remember was when that one guy opened the PS5 to show us what's inside.
They also have set up some new rules that for whatever reason only apply to Japanese games. Because headpatting an animegirl is bad, but... uhm... "adulting" your way through western games is completely fine. On PlayStation you literally get trophies for... "adulting" females. I was also kinda surprised that when I was playing Assassins Creed Origins that there are some women that walk around without wearing anything on the top, having their bare chests showing. If that would be a Japanese game half the world would tilt because animugirl badd!!1...
That's pretty unfair and some developers said that they're going to stop supporting PlayStation. That's probably the reason why there are so many ports for Switch lately or why Persona 5 Strikers (Persona is a SpinOff of Shin Megami Tensei. But Persona was mostly for PlayStation and SMT mostly for Nintendo.) is on Switch. Or why I havn't heard much about J-Games for PS5, besides Final Fantasy XVI and Neptunia ReVerse (which is a remaster of a PS4 game which is a remaster of a Vita game which is a remake of a PS3 game.) Most J-Games I'm aware about are either for PS4 but with ports for Switch, games that got ported afterwards to Switch, or cancelled on PlayStation at all.
So... Everyone's mad at Sony or PlayStationUS (heck they even decided to change the button layout for the Japanese market on PS5... How ignorant and rude can you be? As if BLOCKING games wasn't disrespectful enough yet... Oh well, if they're going to piss off SquareEnix at some point in the future the PlayStation will be dead in Japan and for J-Fans.), there are barely news about games for PS5, but that companies are thinking about switching to Nintendo. That's probably also a reason why the Switch sales are exploding again.
Oh. Have you heard about Phantasy Star Online 2? Outside of Japan it will not come for PS, but for... XBox. That's... an interesting move... But I guess that's what you get when you make people angry.

Would rather watch the TGS instead. ...If at all.
I don't know why I'm watching Nintendo Directs, but they're at least interesting and kinda "magical". Well and sometimes they surprise me. Like. From all studios that ever worked on Pokemon games (you would be surprised about how many companies work(ed) on Pokemon...) how is GameFreak the one working on something like Legends Arceus? @shining_nexus About Trails... This series is splitted into arcs.
Trails in the Sky is the Liberl arc
Ao and Zero no Kiseki are the Crossbell arc.
Trails of Cold Steel is the Erebonia arc.
Trails in the Dark (coming to Japan this year) will start the Calvard arc.
These games combined tell the "The Legend of Heroes" story, but if you start with Cold Steel 1 or wait for Trails in the Dark to enter the series here it will be good enough. Because every arc takes place in a different country and from their point of view, with different people. Like, in Sky1 you're playing as Estelle and Joshua, who are both adopted by Cassius Bright and want to become bracers in Liberl. (It's not really a spoiler because the game tells you that at the beginning in the prologue.). In Cold Steel1 you're Rean Schwarzer who just arrived by train and is going to attend to Thors Military Academy in Erebonia.
If you only played CS3 and for 30 hours I don't know how much you know eg about Ouroboros yet but this group existed since the first game. Only Falcom knows what their goal is at this point, because the members aren't openly talking about it and Ouroboros grants them the freedom to do whatever they want to do as long they don't disturb the plan. But at the end of CS4 I think you can see a short videoscene with a hologram of their "leader" (It's just a hologram. We don't know who it is.) and they said that despite what happened everything is still going like planned.
However, if you're okay with PC gaming, you can play all Trails games on PC. It's one of these rare JRPGs that got developed for PC too. As you can see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Heroes
the series is even older than consoles. Though, you can ignore the games from the Gagharv and Dragon Slayer sub-series. They aren't related with Trails in any way besides the name.
If you've a modded Vita you can play all games from Sky1 to CS2 on Vita. Then you could play CS3 and 4 on Switch and everything's cool, right? Though, Ao and Zero are as said Japanese only. And if you don't want to English patch the Vita versions of the Sky games you would need to play the PSP versions of it. Sky3 though never came in English to PSP.
However, Trails in the Dark is going to start the second half of the whole series. That's sad... but when you look at the map, we still have a lot to see. :3

Hmm... Poor Crossbell experienced a lot of ***** meanwhile. It's the Belgium of the last century, if you know what I mean. But you maybe noticed yourself that there's a lot of random German in Cold Steel (and that Erebonia is very aggressive). Like a tank series called Achtzehn (18), a high speed train called Eisengraf (Iron Count) or a location called Schwarz Drache Barrier (which got written wrong, but means Black Dragon Barrier). There you can totally realistically meet random women on the street that ask if they should make you harder than your childhood (Cyberpunk) have sliders to adjust the sizes of your chest and your PP (Cyberpunk), can go to a stripclub, get a lapdance and pay a woman for "services" (GTA), get achievements for having bedsport (AC Odyssey or Dragon Age eg. In Dragon Age you can even do all of your followers the first time you reach your camp. The only thing you need to do is giving them a cake you can buy for 50 silvers at the merchant that's standing forever in said camp. A+ character design...), can see the bare chests of women (AC Origins), have big empty worlds with questmarkers that are literally 20 kilometers away and that are boring in general but hey at least it looks reALisTiC and you can totally realistically kill humans every couple of meters because everyone wants to hurt you (anything Ubisoft, really).. and aaaaall the other stupid garbage you've in these "realistic" western games...
...But when I HEADPAT a fully covered girl in my "weird Japanese crap" games everyone is losing their mind and crying about sexism and whatever. Heck, the UN even wanted to ban all Japanese stuff. Japan sent a WOMAN to defend anime, manga and Japanese videogames and she destroyed them. Also, a lot of Japanese stuff actually is made by women or involve a lot of female employees (A lot of the dirtiest hentai-manga you can find are actually drawn by women.). Why does the west, that's okay with guns, killing people (In Japanese games you often fight monters and stuff. Rarely people. And to be honest I prefer it this way. Apparently a human life is worthless in the west. Even trashenemies are humans...) and achievements for bedsports so much against Japanese stuff that they even want to destroy the jobs of women they claim to protect?
Which is just another reason why I avoid "realistic" games, because politics and such. People are too much drama... it's exhausting...
And why do people even whine about games anyway? There are so many games out there, just play something else and let the people who like their games like their games? Why is everyone these days complaining about literally everything? I mean, yeah, I don't like Ubisoft anymore. But you know what? I'm just not playing their games anymore. Simply as that.

@shining_nexus I played AC up to including Odyssey, FC from 3 to NewDawn, and the first two WatchDogs. It's all kinda the same, except that your armory and the graphics change...
I was interested in giving Fenyx Rising a chance, now that it looks at least graphically appealing to me... I tried the demo and.. When A DEMO starts with "Follow a questmarker that's some kilometers away!" that's already a bad sign. The way back was even more stupid because when you left first you went downhill and glided over water too. It's apparently a typical Ubisoft game, just with nicer graphics. But if you want it maybe wait a bit. At some point their Gold-Editions are 30€ or below.
About Trails. Hmm... I heard that Hajimari is supposed to come to the west this year. I also read that Falcom ported the Ao and Zero games from PSP to PS4, which means we will probably get them in the west for the first time too. But Ao and Zero are probably graphically not appealing to newcomers to the series. They're in beautiful oldschool 2D-ish graphics. <3
I don't know if Falcom really is going to cover the Switch or if they are with CS3 and 4, YS:O, YS8 and YS9 just testing... But, yeah, would be nice if I could play their games on Nintendo in future too. I just sold my PS4 two days ago...

Now I'm playing it for around three days and I must say... I love it. I really do...
Nintendo showed me that OpenWorld games don't need to be boring, monotone, empty (as in lacking a soul and heart) and filled with "Travel 15 kilometers because the questmarker is on the other side of the map that has the size of a whole planet and kill 500 humans (Why do enemies in western games nearly always need to be humans?) on the way there, that are actually totally irrelevant for you but you've face-aggro every couple of meters" 'gameplay' like Ubisoft does it in all their games...
Good that it says Zelda, otherwise I would've skipped this beauty just because Ubisoft destroyed the entire genre for me... Well, I also liked Dragon Age more before Bioware made it into a semi-openworld. Horizon Zero Dawn had an interesting setting but the game bored me already after a couple of hours.
Good that at least Nintendo and their partners are still producing quality games that are worth the money. I feel like the Switch was my best investment since years...
And when Falcom keeps making The Legend of Heroes for Switch too, well, I couldn't be more happier! Except... is going to order a pizza and a bottle DocP

About my opinion... I wasn't expecting anything to be honest. And I wished so much Genius Sonority (Colosseum and XD on Gamecube) could do another game...
I was watching the Pokemon Direct without any hype, but wanted to listen what they've to say.
Chibi DP surprised me a bit. And, well, it looks so cute... Then I saw it's from ILCA and wondered what GameFreak was doing all the time.
Then they dropped the Arceus trailer and it looked really nice and all... Probably the first game ever I'm going to pre-order... But who developed this? ...What? GameFreak? Seriously? What happened? Well, it's good that they opened up for something new.
Also, it looks like some older Japan. As you can see from the buldings and how the protagonist is dressed. And that the focus is on Arceus is kinda interesting. Because in Pokemon Arceus is God. The trailer also said that we're working on the FIRST Pokedex ever, which means we aren't going to have a stupid Rotomdex. That's a big plus. :3
I'm going to buy both games. Chibi-Gen4 and BotW-Pokemon? Yass, please!

@Alienfreaks04 @Ghost_of_Hasashi After I wrote that comment I noticed that the site I was using for PlayStation prices also has a Switch section... 60€ Nintendo games drop to 40€. It's not much, but it's additional 10€ saved compared to the coupon thing.
About retail games... uhm... I don't like it when I have too much stuff at home. There also isn't a single reason to collect all that plastic at home in 2021. A lot of my wishlist is digital only anyway.

I don't think there's a canon age for Link. As far I understood it it's always a different Link and Zelda in most cases. It has been yeeeeears since I played a Zelda, but was Windwaker eg not talking about a legend about a hero and whatever and then the Link we played there just randomly steps into their footprints, basically?
Also... The HW2 Zelda (only played the demo so far) said that her powers aren't awaken yet and that she doesn't know what to do to get them. She also said that with the Shiekah stones even she could fight. Witch means that the HW2 Zelda is weaker than the other Zeldas. (The other ones are able to fight without them. And there's Shiek. And she's a character in Smash, as Zelda and as Shiek.) So, either it's a different Zelda/Link in most of the times... or in 50 years Nintendo will maybe show us the official real timeline and we would see that HW2 is canonly one of the first, maybe even the first Zelda game. ...Or Nintendo is just going to say "Well, that's why the games are called 'THE LEGEND of Zelda' it's just a fairy tale, you know? Did you never hear about the Lindworm or Claiomh Solais, for example? What about the legend about some kid pulling a sword from a stone and becoming a king?"
But as said, I havn't played a Zelda in yeeears. So, I can't really remember how things piece together, if they do at all. Because as said, I feel like they're always different people.. or dimensions... or world lines... or times lines... whatever.

So there is a chance!), because I sold all my Sony stuff, except the Vita.

Hmm... I don't think BotW2 comes this year though. On the one side it would be nice, because of the birthday. But on the other side, Nintendo can't really do anything (like Mario 3D All-Stars.. or anything) because they wouldn't want to distract from BotW2 if it really comes this year. And if people would just get BotW2 and ignore the "Zelda 3D All-Stars" (or whatever) then it would be bad for Nintendo, because company don't want you to spend money in three months. They want you to spend it NOW. What's the English word... Fiscal year, or something.

Sure, first party games on Switch are not in a price range I'm used to... They're 60€. On PlayStation I bought everything aside TRAILS games for 20€ or less. But I already noticed that Nintendo has great deals on third party games on the eShop. I can live with that...
Kinda sad that I don't have money left to spend on games this month. Well... If I'm lucky someone is coming today buying my PS4P.

@shining_nexus Hmm... I was never thinking so much about controllers to be honest. Maybe driving would be kinda strange with the doggy controller. At least in third party titles. In Mario Kart you're still accelerating with... A, I think. Has been a while since I played Mario Kart. 7 on 3DS. And before that DoubleDash on Gamecube.
<sigh> ...Maybe I should get a Pro controller at some point.
Hm-hm! If you need more weirdos in your life I'm your girl. It's ridiculous how easy it's to be a weirdo for most people... I often wonder how boring and bitter a "normal" life must be. Or what "normal" even means, because in fact humans are individuals and thus being "normal" would be against our nature...

But oh, well, here we go again... As someone who mostly plays Japanese games I'm very unhappy with the decisions PlayStation made since the headquarter moved to California. If their stupid rules would at least apply to western games too, then it would be fair. But they don't. In western games you can murder (It's even hard to find a game that doesn't spill liters of blood every couple of meters...), have sex, torture, see nudes, in Cyberpunk you have sliders for your peenus and your tiddies, and random females ask you if you want them to make you harder than your childhood. In western games you even get rewarded with trophies/achievements for having sex... But when I HEADPAT a fully dressed female being in a Japanese game all the white crybaby hypocrites are losing their sh*t and tell me something about sexualization and pedophilia. I have no idea what people think JRPGs and VNs are about, but it's a bit scary how people seem to always think about sex (and are totally okay with violence.) Dunno, I have never seen nudes or sex in these myself? While in the west, eh, maybe I'm just unlucky with what western games I pick, but apparently sexualization isn't just normal but even the standard in western games. (But well, did you hear the story about the Ubisoft CEO? He harassed female employees, said that good girls earn their positions in a company with sex, and said that games with female protagonists wouldn't sell. Maybe he's right, because everyone lost their sh*t when Rockstar said you COULD, not must, COULD, play a woman in GTA6. LOL) Why does everything ever in the west need to be about violence and sex?? People even asked CD Projekt what positions you can have in the bed with someone else... pardon??

I need to grow up because I don't want to have sex and too much violence in a videogame? How does anything of that even make sense?
However, that's why I'm with Nintendo now. Japan is pretty mad at Sony currently, because PlayStation is basically an American console these days. The only Japanese thing about PlayStation is the name Sony and that you can play Japanese games on it. (They even changed the X and O buttons on PS5 the western way on the Japanese version. Why?). And their stupid rules that are in summary basically simply "JAPAN BAD!!!1". Some devs said they are going to stop making games for PlayStation. A lot of games came or are going to come to Nintendo.
And Nintendo doesn't pretend to be my mom. Sorry, but now in my 30s I'm old enough to decide by myself if I can endure the CRUELTIY OF giving/receiving A HUG or a headpat... omg... I know, I know, that's really hardcore and waaay worse than bonking through all these western games as some stupid braindead alphamale...

@shining_nexus Thanks. :3 I came here with the intend to stay... eheheh... Oh well, right now I'm playing Mario. I want to wait until I have the Expansion Pass before I'm going to start BotW.
Also not sure if I should get the Pro controller. Everyone seems to love it, but the doggy controller seems to be good enough for me. Don't know what to do about that.

@Meehanuk The Mario Switch is so adorably fugly, really cute ...in a sense. :3 The Animal Crossing version is the queen under the Switches, and currently around 450 Euro... But, oh well, at least our Switches aren't grey. It's something!

Picked up a Switch this week because I moved from PlayStation due to reasons and I didn't want to wait until NewSwitchXL anymore. That would have meant at least a full year without games! What sad life would that be?!
So... Currently playing Mario 3D World. Of course with all stars, stamps and poles. I was a trophy huntress, and old habits die hard. I don't think I'm going to complete it this weekend (Or maybe I do. Currently in the Bowser world.). But afterwards I would play Bowsers Fury. And then Breath of the Wild. Yeah, I'm a bit late to the party...

Final Fantasy XIII ran in 1024x576 on XBox360. Such HD, very wow.
I played it on PS3 later. Ran in 720p. Usually I don't care about graphics, but that really made a lot of difference...
