And about people online... I got my first penis picture with 15. World of Warcraft was in the early years in general the pure horror as a girl, because guys creeped on me non-stop. From when I logged in to when I logged out. In voice chat you can sometimes hear people fapping on you, people that could be your father. And I was 15 as said. When you block creepy people they just create new characters. I started multiple time from 0 again on other servers, just to be treated like some rubberdoll over and over again. Even when I refused to join the voice chat. Even when I claimed to be a guy, they didn't believe me, said that I would be just shy and that I would be "too nice to be a guy".
On Reddit even guys who say they're in their 70s hit on me in very creepy ways. Also, have you seen the AC subreddit? They're about politics all the time. And if you say anything they don't like multiple people become offensive torwards you.
And then people like you tell me that I should shut up and should seek help. wow... everyone is always so nice to me. That's funny, because when I was in school the teachers, media and everyone kept telling me that humans would be "social beings" and "empathetic" "understanding" "caring" and that everyone just wants to help each other. Yeah... sure...

Animal Crossing is a cute game, with nice people. As long you don't go online. Then you see political trash everywhere. In a kids game... I just want to relax, without all the angry people being everywhere... And so I learned that AC is another game I don't want to play with humans. But offline... People are nice. The animals, I mean. I don't know the English names, but when I look up someone I would say so far I like Daisy (She's a white dog) the most. She seems to be really nice, she also seems to be more mature than most animals I met.

Scandalous... How could anyone forget the Pokemon TCG game? Probably one of the best card games ever made. The second one was crap though and it's probably for the better it was Japan-only... I hope we will see another TCG at some point though. I mean, a singleplayer one. Not a fan of PvP.

@ModdedInkling I actually enjoyed SwSh even though I'm playing this series since the very first entry that got released in the west (So, no, it wasn't Green before anyone asks.). I don't know what high demands and unrealistic expectations people always have about everything... But I wanted a Pokemon game and I got a Pokemon game.

There are a lot, and I mean A LOT, Pokemon available in SwSh these days but I wonder why people complain about it not having all of them. OR/AS showed what happens when you put TOO MANY Pokemon in a game. That really felt unsatisfying, because it was throwing kinda like all Pokemon at you... My Pokemon Bank apprechiated it, because I'm working on a Living Dex (I only need mythical Pokemon for the 100%), but it felt really wrong, forced and unnatural. Also you can import your older Pokemon via Bank/Home, why would you need ALL 989 Pokemon in ONE game? The maps in Pokemon games are way too small to support such a high number of animals... G/S/C had Johto and Kanto, TWO REGIONS, and had only 251 Pokemon, and you still needed R/B/Y to complete the Pokedex. And that was okay. Now lookup how many Pokemon can spawn in Galar... Really, that are way too many and feels not like intended but more like it would have been forced because people these days cry about everything.

The whole Animal Crossing series (450 cards in total) is currently on sale for 200€ on AliExpress. I don't think anyone would care about if the NFC-cards in your collectors album are official. After I saw this site https://amiibo.life/series and how many amiibos exist I wanted to have aaaaall of them. But I also don't want to spend 200€ on NFC-cards that havn't just barely any function (We aren't talking about the Zelda series here, right?) but are outside of Animal Crossing useless. I just learned this week that the Zelda amiibos even work in Skyrim and give you Zelda-themed stuff... But yeah, when it's about money... Well I can throw it away easily and people roll their eyes, but TCGs for example I would rather do in games than in real life. Because that's a lot cheaper... I don't like the concept of booster packs. That's like real life lootboxes, and nobody likes lootboxes, right? Never had Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Why should I, when I could just buy a Gameboy game...
But overall I would say that's a nice idea. Trading cards with people via Reddit in quarantine. Sounds like fun. Like uhh... pen pals was the English word I think. Back then when there was no internet... Mh~ It's good to see that socializing isn't death yet these days. Often I feel like nobody actually cares about anyone and that people only want to be "better" (financially, hotness of their girlfriend, achievements, kills in a multiplayer game, materialism, etc) than others and that people are only on antisocial media to advertise and brag about themself... @savino For me it isn't a religious reason, but GTA5 made me very uncomfy multiple times even though I'm playing that series since the very first one (which I never was able to beat, because you only have one life iirc...). Once you need to actively torture someone. And there are so many sexual things in that game nobody cares about, but whenever a westener sees an animegirl (that isn't even involved in any questionable stuff) they get rabies and fantasize something about sexism and abusing women even though there are really a lot of women working in the anime/manga-sector... At first, I'm new here and have my Switch for around a month, I will get all the Nintendo-published games, because these are the most expensive. And then I will pickup whatever is currently on sale. I don't have a roadmap for getting games. Except it's Pokemon, then I will always try to get it asap. Usually I will just go with the flow and see what's on sale. No need to rush. Mhh~ IF it comes to the west in 2021, which I doubt, Hajimari no Kiseki will be an "as close as possible to day1"-pickup. Kiseki (Trails) and Pokemon are my two most favorite series ever. Can't do anything wrong with these two.
But for next month I planned Mario 3D All-Stars, Zelda BotW, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon LGE. I already own the Pokemon Sword seasonpass because I had a Switch Lite some time ago only for Pokemon. And, well, I had Zelda BotW recently but I gave it away because I had a financial hiccup. I do have that seasonpass too though. These four picks are obvious though. That Zelda is really enjoyable. That Mario gets delisted. The Pokemon, well, I'm in Pokemon mood... Currently playing Pokemon Quest to skip some time... And I'm not going to stop playing that until I have all 151 Pokemon there, because that's what I do. 100%ing games.
I think I could do more than these 200€ next month, but I have this feeling that I should play it save until June. I love June. June and December are these fancy months where I have like 1500€ (after bills) to do with as I please, because some very nice people decided that you should get paid 14 times a year in my country. I havn't decided yet what I'm going to do in June... I don't really need a new laptop. My ten years old one is still doing its job. My 1080p screen is fine enough now that I switched from Sony to Nintendo. I don't really need anything else... Maybe the Splatoon Pro-Controller. And a Pokeball Plus because I still have no Mew in my LivingDex. But else... Yeah, lots of food two other Nintendo-published games and then whatever 500 Euros can buy me from my list IF that's in a sale right now. Because aside from Nintendo and Kiseki I get my stuff only from sales... Oh. A bigger microSD-card! Only have 128GB at the moment. And I could get delivered food. Like salmon rice with teriyaki sauce... <3 But I decided in December that I will only order food three times maximum per month. Because December I ordered food every day. Which was amazing. But... money went POOF... Oh well...

Mario 3D All-Stars, which contains games everyone should have at some platform meanwhile anyway, was released September 18, 2020. You had around half a year time to get that. Half a year. That are roughly 180 days. How much time do you need to pick up a "limited edition" that lasted for half a year and got produced in such high quantitiy that not even scalpers care about it?
I seriously don't understand why every time when I open my Firefox I see people whining and complaining everywhere about literally everything for reasons I seriously can't understand... I doubt Nintendo would call back all unsold copies and then burn them or whatever... But you for sure could just get it second hand... jeez... So much pointless drama literally everywhere...

Their own games are kinda stable forever apparently but... You can buy coupons. In the Switch Online screen you can buy a pack of two coupons for 99€. (I don't know how much that is in other regions, sorry, so I will use Euros). You can trade these coupons for a game. Which means, you get every game for 50€. Which, you obviously should only use on games Nintendo published because all the other games have a normal price development...
So if you buy Zelda BotW and Smash Ultimate, which are 70€ each, it would be 140€. But if you use the coupons you get both for 100€. All other Nintendo published games are 60€ (aside Captain Toad, which is 40€), which means you would save 20€ whenever you get two new games.
I mean, it's cool that Nintendo does sometimes put their own games on sale too, but tbh I wouldn't wait for months, years, just to save another 10€ on a game... 10€ are nothing. A DECENT pizza is 10€. I never had Domino's but I noticed today I have one in my district. I went to their website and a 29cm pizza is 18€. See? If you're smoking, a pack of cigarettes is 6€. Most smokers do 1-2 packs a day. I can imagine that for Africa or Asia 10€ seems to be much, but as a European... ehh... 10€... wow... <shrugs> Not worth waiting another year. I never understood that every time when there was a PlayStation sale people in the PlayStation forums I was at asked "is X worth 2$?". I don't understand... @GamingDude800 Have you played that one I mentioned? I really don't see how it could be better than that. You can play against nearly all the important characters from the anime (while eg the PC games only had Seto, Yami Yugi OR Joey, depending on what game you picked...), get a booster pack for winning, it has the ghouls from the Battle City arc, it has challenges, events and tournaments, the game is even acknowledging the rules. What some other games (like Dark Duel on GBC or eg Reshef on GBA) or the anime (at least in the earlier seasons) didn't. Imo best YuGiOh game still. If you have a different opinion feel free to explain it to me.

But no, you're wrong. The Switch is powerful enough for it's target audience. Children, families, adults who love childhood games, people who're travelling a lot (or work so much that they even sleep at work), and people who like Japanese games.
For whatever reason it's mostly always the westeners who believe that everything ever is made for them and that the world revolves around them. Look, I see it like this: If I would be interested in junkfood-tier games like the west is doing them, where most of the budget moves into graphics, to hide that the game has no soul, and the CEOs pocket, I would buy an XBox and not a Switch. But I like Nintendo games and Japanese games, and so I bought a console from Nintendo, who're Japanese. Simply as that. Really, I don't understand that. Why are people always buying things that aren't for them, and then complain it and want everything to be changed for them, instead of just buying a product that actually was made for them?

You know why they can remake Pokemon until the end of time? Because it doesn't matter how much Nexomon or TemTem you have, Pokemon will always be the real deal. And all of them are great. When you look at western junkfood bLocKbuStoRs on the other hand (that will one day even run on a smartfridge or microwave or the toilet)... does it even matter if you play AC Odyssey or AC Valhalla? Or FC3, 4, 5 or New Dawn? It's all the same. And now we have Fenyx which is basically another boring AC but with, because Ubi realised that - who could have thought that - people like Zelda, a Zelda skin... At first you're on it because you're curious. But it gets more disgusting and disappointing the longer you're at.
And that's why exclusive games are great! Not saying GameFreak would be perfect (I would prefer Genius Sonority. They did Colosseum and XD), but I would rather give them 50€ for a Pokemon Remake, than Ubisoft 30€ in a sale for a gold edition of any of their "new" empty and soulless games that are about running around forever and killing people on the way for no reason. @Wilforce Oh... Well, if Kakarot will ever come to Switch I will get that. I was interested in that, but I moved from PS4 Pro to Switch. I like DragonBall(Z) and JRPG is my most favorite genre anyway.
But... I don't think you can "grow out of JRPGs" because it's such a big and versatile genre... The only thing that can happen is that your interests went somewhere else, but there are so many different types of JRPGs... Some are tactical, some are more Novels, some are turnbased, some are realtime, some are more about the story, some more about the action, some have mechs or guns, you can do so much with that genre... And for example, Final Fantasy 15 and 7 Remake aren't that popular with some people because they're too westernized. Well, indeed SquareEnix is a company that's interested in the international market and sadly you notice that while playing their games... But, basically that just adds a bit more diversity to that already pretty diverse genre, right? Really, I don't see how you can grow out of JRPGs. Sorry.
I didn't like Xenoverse that much, sadly. It was... too much action. That was kinda stressful to me.

@Wilforce I have no idea about Kakarot tbh, but I think RPG would be the perfect genre for it. Did you play Legacy of Goku 2 on GBA? Still the best DBZ game I ever played... You know what would be really cool imo? An RPG to the original DragonBall, where you're Kid Goku, start from the very start, and train him, meet Bulma, Oolong, Krillin, Roshi, Yamcha and the others, explore the world on foot and later with whatever the flying clouds name is in English. Fight the RR Army. And Devil Piccolo. Meet Yajirobe, Karin and Kami. But you're playing the whole game as Kid Goku, level him up, maybe optional extra training, progress the story, follow the entire manga/anime. Remember in the anime when Kid Goku used Kamehameha and it was really small and cute? This could be his ultimate in this game!! :3 Also ...I mean, we really had enough DBZ games meanwhile, right? Maybe... change a bit for once? Not asking for GT, because that was meh... but the original DB was kinda sweet and who remembers anything of it, really?

That's based on a different (also mobile), and older technology. Also, AMD isn't producing CPUs by themself. Like, when I played FarCry New Dawn, which I only played because someone gifted it to me, I wondered all the time when it's going to start. The others... eh I don't even remember the names of the bad twin girl finalbosses. Then suddenly the game told me to kill them. And then one of them suuuddenly had regrets and you can decide to let her stay alive. Which... doesn't impact the game in any way. In general, that game was so incredible boring... If I wouldn't be a completionist I would've never beated that game because everything was so extremely boring and horribly written. Western games have no soul, no heart... And from the gameplay it doesn't matter if you play 3, 4, 5 or ND. Heck, it's basically an Assassins Creed with guns. Triple Meh bLockBusToR games are boring...
Fenyx Rising looks nice at least, and not as boring like other Ubipoop games... Realistic graphic styles are incredible boring to me, sorry... But the demo was enough to tell me that it's your usual Ubipoop game.
Hmm... I'm currently playing an indie game called Game Dev Tycoon. It's cute. I like it... but after some analysis (it's an ingame function to help you design better games) I realized that western people apparently have an entire different idea about RPGs. For example in that game Sound is rated "- - -" for RPGs, which means it isn't important for RPGs (and for whatever reason RPGs are "+ + +" on PC. LOL!! RPGs ON PC!!). Well, when I think about it... When do western RPGs have music... Dragon Age is silent nearly all the time, sadly, but then when you see a dragon it's suddenly playing some "not as exciting as you would think"-dragon-boss track. Heck, people even defend this artistic inferiority and laziness (I wonder where all the budget went... graphics, marketing and the CEOs pocket, eh?), say it would be "minimalistic music". That's sad... Because FOR ME sound is "+ + +" in RPGs. I love how Japanese RPGs give you so much music you want to download from Youtube and listen to on a nearly daily base... I always wonder where Japan draws this creativity from. How can all these games have so much music? And it's different every time. I couldn't even compose an SMS-NotificationSound without getting copyright problems...
But in the west, these so called "big budget AAA blockbusters" are mostly about running around in silence and killing random enemies for no reason, because you always have faceaggro. Oh and there is a flower. And there. And there too! And lumber! And ores! You can loot garbage with every step you make... imo games shouldn't be about running around aimlessly in a way too big but empty world just to get loot... If that's really all what it takes to please the western audience... That's sad...

Animal Crossing is a cute game, with nice people. As long you don't go online. Then you see political trash everywhere. In a kids game... I just want to relax, without all the angry people being everywhere... And so I learned that AC is another game I don't want to play with humans.

Scandalous... How could anyone forget the Pokemon TCG game? Probably one of the best card games ever made. The second one was crap though and it's probably for the better it was Japan-only... I hope we will see another TCG at some point though. I mean, a singleplayer one. Not a fan of PvP.

@ModdedInkling I actually enjoyed SwSh even though I'm playing this series since the very first entry that got released in the west (So, no, it wasn't Green before anyone asks.). I don't know what high demands and unrealistic expectations people always have about everything... But I wanted a Pokemon game and I got a Pokemon game.
Sure, Galar felt kinda small and like they needed a bit more time... But I really need to say that I liked it. Also, it has Marnie! Best PokeGirl ever. GloriaXMarnie, make it happen!! x3
...uhm... Anyway... I enjoyed SwSh, yes. The DLC was a bit too expensive though (but I can have Marnies clothes and haircut! Money well spent! <3). But it's cheaper than buying a third edition, yes. So... it's still an improvement compared to previous entries, right?
There are a lot, and I mean A LOT, Pokemon available in SwSh these days but I wonder why people complain about it not having all of them. OR/AS showed what happens when you put TOO MANY Pokemon in a game. That really felt unsatisfying, because it was throwing kinda like all Pokemon at you... My Pokemon Bank apprechiated it, because I'm working on a Living Dex (I only need mythical Pokemon for the 100%), but it felt really wrong, forced and unnatural. Also you can import your older Pokemon via Bank/Home, why would you need ALL 989 Pokemon in ONE game? The maps in Pokemon games are way too small to support such a high number of animals... G/S/C had Johto and Kanto, TWO REGIONS, and had only 251 Pokemon, and you still needed R/B/Y to complete the Pokedex. And that was okay. Now lookup how many Pokemon can spawn in Galar... Really, that are way too many and feels not like intended but more like it would have been forced because people these days cry about everything.

and how many amiibos exist I wanted to have aaaaall of them. But I also don't want to spend 200€ on NFC-cards that havn't just barely any function (We aren't talking about the Zelda series here, right?) but are outside of Animal Crossing useless. I just learned this week that the Zelda amiibos even work in Skyrim and give you Zelda-themed stuff...
But yeah, when it's about money... Well I can throw it away easily and people roll their eyes, but TCGs for example I would rather do in games than in real life. Because that's a lot cheaper... I don't like the concept of booster packs. That's like real life lootboxes, and nobody likes lootboxes, right? Never had Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Why should I, when I could just buy a Gameboy game...
But overall I would say that's a nice idea. Trading cards with people via Reddit in quarantine. Sounds like fun. Like uhh... pen pals was the English word I think. Back then when there was no internet... Mh~ It's good to see that socializing isn't death yet these days. Often I feel like nobody actually cares about anyone and that people only want to be "better" (financially, hotness of their girlfriend, achievements, kills in a multiplayer game, materialism, etc) than others and that people are only on antisocial media to advertise and brag about themself... Can't even have an opinion or like anime these days without someone being mad at you for no reason.

I don't comprehend the problem. Why would you want to watch dubbed anime? The Steins;Gate video I watched on Youtube by accident and made me literally cringe, within seconds, (I was looking for a meme) just added other points to the "And this is why I watch my stuff with the original audio" list. Faris, who sounds in English like an annoying person, doesn't even speak Nyannyanian in English... Sad... That's as if I would want to watch Doctor Who in German, where everyones favorite Doctor obviously doesn't have a Scottish accent. Sad... I have no idea why people always need to destroy their own joy. But, eh, I'm not their mother... @savino For me it isn't a religious reason, but GTA5 made me very uncomfy multiple times even though I'm playing that series since the very first one (which I never was able to beat, because you only have one life iirc...). Once you need to actively torture someone. And there are so many sexual things in that game nobody cares about, but whenever a westener sees an animegirl (that isn't even involved in any questionable stuff) they get rabies and fantasize something about sexism and abusing women even though there are really a lot of women working in the anime/manga-sector... Why are things that make me (as a woman) really uncomfy okay just because they're western, but the cute animegirl that isn't doing anything wrong but makes me comfy (I do overall feel a lot more comfy in Japanese games than in western games, even though the west thinks Japan is the pure evil for some reason.) is getting hated by everyone just because it's Japanese and the white people tilt and think about the worst whenever they hear the word "Japanese"? I never had sex in a Japanese game. I never killed an animegirl and stole her money. I never paid an animegirl for services. I have never seen an animegirl stripclub. While the PS4 Sims4 is just a straight PC-port. That was quite boring and disappointing... Could we at least get Amiibo support? They don't seem to have much use. That's kinda sad. Imagine you've a collectors album with all the 450 Animal Crossing Amiibo cards and they're, your good feelings aside, useless.

@BRANDINOIII I have a wishlist that's hitting the 400 mark soon. Nintendo games, JRPGs, Visual Novels, Indies and casual games mostly.
At first, I'm new here and have my Switch for around a month, I will get all the Nintendo-published games, because these are the most expensive. And then I will pickup whatever is currently on sale. I don't have a roadmap for getting games. Except it's Pokemon, then I will always try to get it asap. Usually I will just go with the flow and see what's on sale. No need to rush. Mhh~ IF it comes to the west in 2021, which I doubt, Hajimari no Kiseki will be an "as close as possible to day1"-pickup. Kiseki (Trails) and Pokemon are my two most favorite series ever. Can't do anything wrong with these two.
But for next month I planned Mario 3D All-Stars, Zelda BotW, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon LGE. I already own the Pokemon Sword seasonpass because I had a Switch Lite some time ago only for Pokemon. And, well, I had Zelda BotW recently but I gave it away because I had a financial hiccup. I do have that seasonpass too though. These four picks are obvious though. That Zelda is really enjoyable. That Mario gets delisted. The Pokemon, well, I'm in Pokemon mood... Currently playing Pokemon Quest to skip some time... And I'm not going to stop playing that until I have all 151 Pokemon there, because that's what I do. 100%ing games.
I think I could do more than these 200€ next month, but I have this feeling that I should play it save until June. I love June. June and December are these fancy months where I have like 1500€ (after bills) to do with as I please, because some very nice people decided that you should get paid 14 times a year in my country. I havn't decided yet what I'm going to do in June... I don't really need a new laptop. My ten years old one is still doing its job. My 1080p screen is fine enough now that I switched from Sony to Nintendo. I don't really need anything else... Maybe the Splatoon Pro-Controller. And a Pokeball Plus because I still have no Mew in my LivingDex. But else... Yeah, lots of food two other Nintendo-published games and then whatever 500 Euros can buy me from my list IF that's in a sale right now. Because aside from Nintendo and Kiseki I get my stuff only from sales... Oh. A bigger microSD-card! Only have 128GB at the moment.
And I could get delivered food. Like salmon rice with teriyaki sauce... <3 But I decided in December that I will only order food three times maximum per month. Because December I ordered food every day. Which was amazing. But... money went POOF... Oh well...

Mario 3D All-Stars, which contains games everyone should have at some platform meanwhile anyway, was released September 18, 2020. You had around half a year time to get that. Half a year. That are roughly 180 days. How much time do you need to pick up a "limited edition" that lasted for half a year and got produced in such high quantitiy that not even scalpers care about it?
I seriously don't understand why every time when I open my Firefox I see people whining and complaining everywhere about literally everything for reasons I seriously can't understand... I doubt Nintendo would call back all unsold copies and then burn them or whatever... But you for sure could just get it second hand... jeez... So much pointless drama literally everywhere...

Hmm... I'm kinda new to Nintendo and see that they're very active with doing sales. Their own games are kinda stable forever apparently but... You can buy coupons. In the Switch Online screen you can buy a pack of two coupons for 99€. (I don't know how much that is in other regions, sorry, so I will use Euros). You can trade these coupons for a game. Which means, you get every game for 50€. Which, you obviously should only use on games Nintendo published because all the other games have a normal price development...
So if you buy Zelda BotW and Smash Ultimate, which are 70€ each, it would be 140€. But if you use the coupons you get both for 100€. All other Nintendo published games are 60€ (aside Captain Toad, which is 40€), which means you would save 20€ whenever you get two new games.
I mean, it's cool that Nintendo does sometimes put their own games on sale too, but tbh I wouldn't wait for months, years, just to save another 10€ on a game... 10€ are nothing. A DECENT pizza is 10€. I never had Domino's but I noticed today I have one in my district. I went to their website and a 29cm pizza is 18€. See? If you're smoking, a pack of cigarettes is 6€. Most smokers do 1-2 packs a day. I can imagine that for Africa or Asia 10€ seems to be much, but as a European... ehh... 10€... wow... <shrugs> Not worth waiting another year. I never understood that every time when there was a PlayStation sale people in the PlayStation forums I was at asked "is X worth 2$?". I don't understand... It's just 2$. 2$ isn't even buying you bread. I mean decent bread, not that dry and tasteless white bread for 60cents where you eat the whole 500g pack at once and are still hungry because it's basically just air with carbs... Just buy the game already...

@GamingDude800 Have you played that one I mentioned? I really don't see how it could be better than that. You can play against nearly all the important characters from the anime (while eg the PC games only had Seto, Yami Yugi OR Joey, depending on what game you picked...), get a booster pack for winning, it has the ghouls from the Battle City arc, it has challenges, events and tournaments, the game is even acknowledging the rules. What some other games (like Dark Duel on GBC or eg Reshef on GBA) or the anime (at least in the earlier seasons) didn't. Imo best YuGiOh game still. If you have a different opinion feel free to explain it to me.

But no, you're wrong. The Switch is powerful enough for it's target audience. Children, families, adults who love childhood games, people who're travelling a lot (or work so much that they even sleep at work), and people who like Japanese games.
For whatever reason it's mostly always the westeners who believe that everything ever is made for them and that the world revolves around them. Look, I see it like this: If I would be interested in junkfood-tier games like the west is doing them, where most of the budget moves into graphics, to hide that the game has no soul, and the CEOs pocket, I would buy an XBox and not a Switch. But I like Nintendo games and Japanese games, and so I bought a console from Nintendo, who're Japanese. Simply as that. Really, I don't understand that. Why are people always buying things that aren't for them, and then complain it and want everything to be changed for them, instead of just buying a product that actually was made for them?

You know why they can remake Pokemon until the end of time? Because it doesn't matter how much Nexomon or TemTem you have, Pokemon will always be the real deal. And all of them are great. When you look at western junkfood bLocKbuStoRs on the other hand (that will one day even run on a smartfridge or microwave or the toilet)... does it even matter if you play AC Odyssey or AC Valhalla? Or FC3, 4, 5 or New Dawn? It's all the same. And now we have Fenyx which is basically another boring AC but with, because Ubi realised that - who could have thought that - people like Zelda, a Zelda skin... At first you're on it because you're curious. But it gets more disgusting and disappointing the longer you're at.
And that's why exclusive games are great! Not saying GameFreak would be perfect (I would prefer Genius Sonority. They did Colosseum and XD), but I would rather give them 50€ for a Pokemon Remake, than Ubisoft 30€ in a sale for a gold edition of any of their "new" empty and soulless games that are about running around forever and killing people on the way for no reason. Yeah, using children as an excuse always is very cheap... Also, when I sold my PS4 Pro some woman told me that her son has his 9th birthday. And then asked me if I would have GTA5 or any CoD or AC. ...Pardon? Lady you just said he's 9... Nobody ever cares about children. But when it's about something Japanese everyone is freaking out for no reason just because it's from foreigners. Or maybe because westeners have this stupid mindset that when something is drawn it's meat to be for children. Like, the Germans dubbed Detective Conan until episode333. With cuts and some whole episodes missing. The translations sometimes aren't even making sense because of the cuts and because they wanted things to be suitable for younger children. Then they stopped dubbing it because "Children shouldn't see corpses all the time". Uhhh... I mean... If I would have a little child I wouldn't let them watch SouthPark, American Dad, Family Guy, Simpsons, Happy Tree Friends and stuff like that either... What? Oh, it's okay to show them that, because it's western stuff and western stuff is good and "safe"?

@Wilforce Oh... Well, if Kakarot will ever come to Switch I will get that. I was interested in that, but I moved from PS4 Pro to Switch. I like DragonBall(Z) and JRPG is my most favorite genre anyway.
But... I don't think you can "grow out of JRPGs" because it's such a big and versatile genre... The only thing that can happen is that your interests went somewhere else, but there are so many different types of JRPGs... Some are tactical, some are more Novels, some are turnbased, some are realtime, some are more about the story, some more about the action, some have mechs or guns, you can do so much with that genre... And for example, Final Fantasy 15 and 7 Remake aren't that popular with some people because they're too westernized. Well, indeed SquareEnix is a company that's interested in the international market and sadly you notice that while playing their games... But, basically that just adds a bit more diversity to that already pretty diverse genre, right? Really, I don't see how you can grow out of JRPGs. Sorry.
I didn't like Xenoverse that much, sadly. It was... too much action. That was kinda stressful to me.

But show an American a picture of a fully dressed anime girl that's just sitting around peacefully and they're going to tilt, think about questionable adult garbage. THE F IS WRONG WITH AMERICANS?... But eh, that happens when you move headquarters to the fortress of hypocrisy and fake people... California, as if anywhere else in the US wouldn't be bad enough... Oh well. I just hope Nintendo is getting more influence in the next years. @Wilforce I have no idea about Kakarot tbh, but I think RPG would be the perfect genre for it. Did you play Legacy of Goku 2 on GBA? Still the best DBZ game I ever played... You know what would be really cool imo? An RPG to the original DragonBall, where you're Kid Goku, start from the very start, and train him, meet Bulma, Oolong, Krillin, Roshi, Yamcha and the others, explore the world on foot and later with whatever the flying clouds name is in English. Fight the RR Army. And Devil Piccolo. Meet Yajirobe, Karin and Kami. But you're playing the whole game as Kid Goku, level him up, maybe optional extra training, progress the story, follow the entire manga/anime. Remember in the anime when Kid Goku used Kamehameha and it was really small and cute? This could be his ultimate in this game!! :3 Also ...I mean, we really had enough DBZ games meanwhile, right? Maybe... change a bit for once? Not asking for GT, because that was meh... but the original DB was kinda sweet and who remembers anything of it, really?

@Heavyarms55 Yeah, but the XBox Series S/X is using the same AMD Ryzen CPU. Where can you buy an XBox Series X? I only see the S, if at all. The Switch is using an nVidia Tegra. That's based on a different (also mobile), and older technology. Also, AMD isn't producing CPUs by themself. Because they got very close to bankruptcy in the past they sold all their production and are these days only designing their stuff. Their CPUs get build by TSMC ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TSMC ). And they said that they lack in resources (and are short in providing capacities, because everyone(TM) is producing their chips at TSMC.). I also read something about... forgive my English at 4am... a water based natural disaster having hit the company. (I also read that electric cars are using above 30,000 chips. Guess who's producing them.)
Resources are in fact so short, that nVidia also has troubles with delivering RTX2xxx and RTX3xxx chips. (In China they even found crypto mining farms put together with RTX3xxx LAPTOPS because the desktop cards are in extremely short supply.) They decided to go back to producing GTX1050TI chips, to at least have something to offer. Questionable, and outdated, but not thaaat bad apparently... Mhh~ Well, I can understand that some people are angry at Nintendo at the moment. But I don't understand it when people eg say that the Switch has no games. Like, currently I have 364 games on my eShop wishlist. But, I also never understood why people say that the Vita was never alive, because I still love my Vita and I'm not done with it anytime soon. :3
It is... uhm... I dunno, people love the XBox these days because Gamepass and stuff, but... sometimes I'm looking at that XBox site to see what's available there at the moment and I honestly couldn't care less about the offer...
What I want to say, without offending anyone, is, that people have opinions, yeah, nothing wrong with that, but instead of complaining people should maybe look around what else could be interesting FOR THEM. I moved from PlayStation to Nintendo this year. Last month to be precise. And aside the handhelds the Switch is my first Nintendo console. So... I'm sorry, but for me (and I'm for sure not alone) all these remakes and ports are new games...
...But, I honestly would advice to not give a billions budget to an indie. Because having no worries is what ruins developers. Like, I read an interview with some developers that said that EA back then didn't destroy them with force but with lots of money and too much love. Seriously, they said that EA gave them too much money and freedom, and that made them fearless and arrogant because they weren't scared about surviving anymore...
...Which you can see at the PS3 for example. Sony was super arrogant, because the PS2 was "the best console ever". They beefed the PS3 up so much, wanted to brag really hard, with such exotic hardware that nobody was ever able to use its full power (Alone the CPU had more GFLOPS than the whole XBox360. Actually the CPU was so beefy that it was able to compete with a 2000$ Intel CPU at this time.) that it had a fail-start because it was how expensive? 600$? 700$?. I do, sometimes... I actually even bought a PS2 this year and softmodded it (You can buy an 8MB PS2 memory card that has everything you need pre-installed for like 10€. Just lookup 'Kaico Free Mcboot' on Amazon.). But... I prefer the Vita. It has some Hatsune Miku games, IA/VT Colorful, the rythm spinoffs from Persona 3 and 5, and other stuff.

Well the PS5 isn't really available (also has no games. Aside from FFXVI and Neps ReVerse all Japanese games in 2021 and 2022 will be on PS4 as far I'm aware of.). Also, Japan is currently kinda angry at Sony for multiple reason. Yeah, but that's probably because these games are boring af. What's the point of maps that have the sizes of entire planets (that get thrown into the bin with the next game...), when there's nothing to do in it besides having random icons all over the place and a "story" system that isn't really telling a story but making you run at the "other end of the world" all of the time for no reason? Like, when I played FarCry New Dawn, which I only played because someone gifted it to me, I wondered all the time when it's going to start. And who are all this random people that seem to be important in some way. The only NPC that's worth remembering is Joseph Seed. The others... eh I don't even remember the names of the bad twin girl finalbosses. Then suddenly the game told me to kill them. And then one of them suuuddenly had regrets and you can decide to let her stay alive. Which... doesn't impact the game in any way. In general, that game was so incredible boring... If I wouldn't be a completionist I would've never beated that game because everything was so extremely boring and horribly written. Western games have no soul, no heart... And from the gameplay it doesn't matter if you play 3, 4, 5 or ND. Heck, it's basically an Assassins Creed with guns. Triple Meh bLockBusToR games are boring...
Fenyx Rising looks nice at least, and not as boring like other Ubipoop games... Realistic graphic styles are incredible boring to me, sorry... But the demo was enough to tell me that it's your usual Ubipoop game.
Hmm... I'm currently playing an indie game called Game Dev Tycoon. It's cute. I like it... but after some analysis (it's an ingame function to help you design better games) I realized that western people apparently have an entire different idea about RPGs. For example in that game Sound is rated "- - -" for RPGs, which means it isn't important for RPGs (and for whatever reason RPGs are "+ + +" on PC. LOL!! RPGs ON PC!!). Well, when I think about it... When do western RPGs have music... Dragon Age is silent nearly all the time, sadly, but then when you see a dragon it's suddenly playing some "not as exciting as you would think"-dragon-boss track. Heck, people even defend this artistic inferiority and laziness (I wonder where all the budget went... graphics, marketing and the CEOs pocket, eh?), say it would be "minimalistic music". That's sad... Because FOR ME sound is "+ + +" in RPGs. I love how Japanese RPGs give you so much music you want to download from Youtube and listen to on a nearly daily base... I always wonder where Japan draws this creativity from. How can all these games have so much music? And it's different every time. I couldn't even compose an SMS-NotificationSound without getting copyright problems...
But in the west, these so called "big budget AAA blockbusters" are mostly about running around in silence and killing random enemies for no reason, because you always have faceaggro. Oh and there is a flower. And there. And there too! And lumber! And ores! You can loot garbage with every step you make... imo games shouldn't be about running around aimlessly in a way too big but empty world just to get loot... If that's really all what it takes to please the western audience... That's sad...
