Re: The Best Dog Games On Nintendo Switch

AlbertXi

Sorry to post this random question in here.

But I am wondering if anyone could tell me, has the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition been up at the nintendo Store? Because I have not heard anything and I don't know if I missed it or we are still waiting or is not coming.

Thanks in advance

Re: Octopath Traveler Has Now Sold 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide

AlbertXi

I love this game on my switch, Bought the day 1 collectors edition, however the price of this game on steam is ridiculous, I think it would have sold more if they had already given the game a fair price.

btw the soundtrack is superb one of the best squareenix has produced recently

Re: Feature: What Does Nintendo's Shutdown Of ROM-Sharing Sites Mean For Video Game Preservation?

AlbertXi

What Needs to happen is create some sort of GOG for Console games, playing old games legally is becoming more and more difficult.

PC is a neutral area and companies should get together stop the foolishness and create something like GOG.

Many ps2 and PSX games are unplayable today unless you find the original games but also and more troublesome the original Hardware, is just RIDICULOUS.

Many GBA games can only be played thanks to emulation, same for gamecube games.

You want to play Suikoden 5? Shadow Hearts Covenant? Xenosaga? or even Vagrant Story or Chrono Cross? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

I don't want to pirate these games I actually want to pay the developers and enjoy it, but what other options do I have?

And the use market besides the prices just doesn't give any money to the developers so from an economic point of view what difference does it make to them that I emulate the game or buy it second hand?

I will prefer to give the money to them, but they do not care so why should I?

Re: Breath Of The Wild Has Been Added To The Zelda Series Timeline, But There's A Catch

AlbertXi

This Discussion continues, is clear Zelda has absolutely no Story, that timeline was just something done for the sake of it.

Yes some games had some connections, but seem more like just references, easter eggs, except maybe for the whole Windwake phantom hourglass thing, to me each game its is own entity.

Unless Nintendo puts a game out to really tie this all Zelda games are just their own thing no matter what that timeline nintendo made up

@electrolite77 That will depend on what you call new on how you value success.

Fortnite is a new game I will say is bigger than mario considering is only one game, Warcraft, PUBG.

But we can call GTA just 5 has sold 80 milliones alone not being bundle, the latest god of war is the most sold game of the last 2 months.

Mario has like 35 years of history and is been used for everything, so not everything is black and white.

And Yes someone mentioned ARMS, yes a new game IP, I don't think because of the approach and lack of proper story and heroe that is had any sort of impact honestly is a very forgettable game, to the point that not one character of the franchise was annouced yet at least for smash.

Snipperclips? well ok, I guess little child will really grow with that.

THe Machina game, is developed by Marvelous, not nintendo and will be published in japan by marvelous not nintendo, is going to be published ww by nintendo but I believe is just an arragement that is not a nintendo game.

That is true to some extend, I am a Nintendo grown up generation, my first console was an atari 2600, got colecovision and intellivision and have collected lots of console ever since, my first PC I had a the age of 8.

My favorite game system is the SNES, so I have a fond memory of it, but even then, I move to Playstation instead of N64 because Nintendo was simply not offering me what I wanted while I was growing up (I got a N64 eventually and got every nintendo system include handhelds) but PSX showed more games, more adult themes and Nintendo was refusing that.

Now, the thing I see here is that pokemon, mario and so on are stablished franchise, but they were not at the time, but lately Nintendo relays on the same franchises and forget about some others.

The last Franchise Nintendo created was Splatoon which is of course kind of huge, but I will not say mario or zelda huge.

Now the kids need something to call theirs, not something they feel they sort of inherited.

And in this regard that I feel Nintendo has not been quite successful.

on a separate note where is my golden sun 4?

Re: Unravel Two Creative Director Explains Why The Game Isn't On Switch

AlbertXi

EA is just the publisher they don't even get any extra money believe it or not, the guy from a Way out confirmed it, EA keeps NOTHING they just publish the game.

The don't put or take money out nor interfere with the development of the game.

If you keep reading the whole tweet conversation, the developer mentions is an inhouse engine and it will require a lot of engineering to put it on switch, he mentions at least 12 months of work to make it work.

Not even bethesda with all the money the have has released wolfenstein on switch after more than 8 months of being released on other systems, and it is a Opengl/Vulkan title and you expect a small indi team to release this as if it was easy? come on people.

Ea doesn't decide were the games release, is the developer.

Re: Nintendo Says 3DS Will Keep Being Sold Unless Switch Becomes A "One-Per-Person System"

AlbertXi

@Dang69 Right that is why Switch will get a worst version of a PS4 game instead of having the best version of a 3DS game. If they were releasing the 3DS version on Switch that would make sense.

The 3DS version would have sold more a LOT more than the downgraded switch version.

I was going to buy both PS4 and 3DS version for being so different, now Just the PS4 version since what is the point of the Switch version for me being just a downgraded version of a superior game?

Re: Nintendo Comments On Third-Party Docks Bricking Switch Systems

AlbertXi

@roadrunner343 The guy is clearly a disrespectful child who doesn't understand technology and makes the most stupid comparisons as you can see by his answer to me he say I can't complain because that other garbage also work, which makes absolutely no sense with the point being made here.

Re: Nintendo Comments On Third-Party Docks Bricking Switch Systems

AlbertXi

@setezerocinco Dude, Nintendo did not invent that, there has been other USB C products like that, from samsung for example from before, many android phones does the same ages ago, Nintendo didn't invent this technology, I+D, of that is close to 0, the concepto of the switch as whole is another story, they took a a bunch of technology that already existed and made something great with it, but they didn't invent the dock tech.

While the Joy Cons those are 2 pieces of really amazing technology, with hd vibration, infrared, and so much more and they cost less than the dock.

@retro_player_22 worst example ever you can't compare buying a whole new system with all cpu/gpu/ram gamepad etc. to buying a dock.

But now I will make it easier for you to understand if I want to play mi ps4 in any other TV in my house I disconnect the ps4 and use one power cable and one HDMI cable TOTAL PRICE: 3 dollars.

If I want to play Switch anywhere else? Either disconnect and transport everything or buy a 80 dollar dock.
