Can't Nintendo afford to at least buy back all the old Rare IP's from Microsoft, if not the actual name? They're just begging to be revived on the 3DS and Wii U.

Mario Kart 8 launched not even two months ago and I'm already ready for Diddy Kong Racing 2, including the old Rare characters.

That and Donkey Kong Country 1-3 all removed from the Wii Shop Channel, with probably no chance of them ending up on the 3DS and Wii U eShops...

Ugh...

Bought the Tennis Club Pass in November from Gamestop for $4.99 and then completed the digital version buying the remaining three Club Passes two weeks back directly from the eShop for $29.97.

Factoring the 20% off eShop cards from Best Buy and the 10% back from the Deluxe Digital Promotion, the complete digital version cost me around $25 + tax. Decent deal.

Had I not bought the Tennis Club Pass last year I probably would have bought the physical version of Sports Club. I'm happy with my digital version, though.

They DO need to update and patch the issues with Boxing, though. Motions aren't registering correctly for whatever weird reason...

@memoryman3 I have a decent amount of 720p games between my WIi U and PS3 and they all look stunning.

Granted I sit around 6-8 feet away from my HDTV but, I still don't notice any difference, if at all, tbh.

Now.. when I'm like two or three inches away from the screen I start noticing some jaggies.. in both 720p AND 1080p.. not one or the other.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm rocking a 32" Sharp 1080p HDTV, so I doubt I would notice the difference between 720p and 1080p anyway. I guess once you hit over the 40" mark then you may notice the difference.

And it's not like the game (in 1-2 player mode) is 30fps. I'm not going to care if it drops to 59fps, lol. Doubt I would notice it. Now if it were 30fps in 1-2 mode... yeah...

720p... It's still HD... I'll take that over SD any day. 59fps... still beats 30fps any day as well =)

The refurbished units are factory reset out of the box. It will work the same as any other new Wii U. If you're going for the digital version you need to link your Club Nintendo account first, prior to downloading Mario Kart 8.

"If you buy the game from Nintendo eShop, link your Wii U console to your Club Nintendo account prior to buying the game to qualify for this offer"

Same deal when I bought my Wind Waker HD Deluxe Set brand new. Right after my initial set up of the console I went right into the eShop and linked my Club Nintendo to it before anything else.

Right after that I redeemed my download code for Wind Waker HD, downloaded it and I received a total of 90 Club Nintendo coins within a few hours i believe.

Just make sure it's linked first and you're all set!

I already have the Wind Waker HD Deluxe Set. I hope they sell that red and blue Wii Wheel outside of this particular Deluxe set.

And at least you can buy that Mario themed Wii Remote as a stand alone product.

I'm loving that box art too! If I didn't already own the Wind Waker set I'd be all over this one! LOL. Awsome package! ^_^
