A while ago it was confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess would have its own manga. At the time it was only pinned down for a Japanese release, but Akira Himekawa - the combined name for the two artists behind many of these franchise manga - has since outed it as being localised by Viz Media in English, though there's no release date as yet.
Viz Media has other Zelda manga localisations in the works, so may take its time before beginning marketing for the Twilight Princess entry. Nevertheless, it seems to be a done deal according to this Facebook post from 21st May, which also had a nice shot of the Japanese version that's less than a month away.

It will also be released in English and German. The English version is planned to be published by VizMedia, and the German version will be published by TOKYOPOP Deutschland.
However, the English and German publishers have not announced their releases yet and we don't know their release dates or other details, so please wait for the announcement from them for more information. We will share the information once it has been announced officially.
Viz Media announced that they will release the Zelda Manga Collection of Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition on November 1st. The Legend Of Zelda: Legendary Edition is a new series of 2-in-1 releases of the classic 10-volume fantasy adventure.
The Legend Of Zelda: Legendary Editions each contain two complete volumes of The Legend Of Zelda manga series, presented in a deluxe format featuring new covers and color artwork by creator Akira Himekawa, and will be printed in a larger 5-3/4" x 8-1/4" format.

It's good news that it's going to eventually arrive - are you a fan of the various Legend of Zelda manga?
With thanks to Ryan Millar for the heads up.

I get it. We're desperate for news. It's like we're picking off a carcass.
Sounds good. Not a fan of TP, but it'll be nice to put it up with the rest of my Zelda literature. Hopefully the writers took a bit more liberty with the writing and pacing like they did with OoT. Really helped flesh the world and characters out.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Oh I'm sorry, I forgot that this site dabbles in all things Nintendo, and sometimes just video games, and that they report on NINTENDO related products like a new Legend of Zelda, you know that NINTENDO exclusive series, manga and other products like the Mario, you know that other NINTENDO exclusive series, Theme Uno cards that are going to come up later.
I have the Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask manga. Twilight Princess is my favorite game in the Zelda series so I'll be sure to keep my eye out for this.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE This news seems pretty directly Nintendo-related. Seems pretty on-topic for the site.
Sounds interesting, will be lookin' out for it, sooner or later
@Ralizah I'm pretty sure he was referring to the lack of game news like Pushsquare has been getting
But this is still on topic.
I am quite happy to hear this. I already own all the other mangas and I might even pick up the double sets if they are worth it.
@Xaessya I was just over on pushsquare. Funny story: I just learned that apparently the people on this site are "split in two."
Ill wait eagerly for its release date
@YouSeemFRAZZLED There's been a few. I've read one of them. It was... pirated!! and no, I'm not talking about Doujinshi, this was legit.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE How is Zelda not Nintendo related? (o_O )
btw, I'm super excited for this. Although it probably won't be canon. I remember getting into all sorts of arguments over Zelda changing her gender with magic because that is what happened in the manga. But I guess that's not what actually happened. Go figure. (o_O )
I don't recommend buying these. The artwork is nice, but the adaptation of the characters from the game isn't very impressive. I have the OoT and Majora's Mask ones, and they run too close to the game to see anything special.
Putting aside all the comments above taking eire's bait, this seems pretty cool. I mean I've beat the game around 5 times so I wouldn't mind finding out a little more about it. Zelda being my series, it's a no brainier to go for the legendary edition!
@Ralizah I heard the same thing too. I don't know. maybe we are, but everything always works itself out in the end so I'm not worried.
(^_^ )
I was waiting for an English release to be announced.
Very happy about this.
Cool. I'm interested.
Awesome! I hope Viz Media won't edit anything.
Hope it will be released in France too. Soleil editions published the others already.
I just got the Zelda manga box set, so I need this to complete my collection.
@Ralizah I've just read that too. I can't say I'd noticed this chasm of unrest but I'll be sure to watch out for it now someone has claimed it for truth!
Tokyopop is still around? I thought it went out of business, in the U.S. Anyways.
I wonder if it's the same Viz media that makes Viz magazine? The rudie adult one haha
I like the manga (not as much as Pokemon Adventures though) so I'm really excited for this!
A Twilight Princess manga? Now that's something I can look forward to!
Why are they releasing this legendary edition with two copies of all 10 volumes..?
What's the point in owning/buying something twice?
There's fanfiction out there that literally puts the official Zelda manga to shame. Just let the soul-crushing horror of that statement sink into you.
There was a Link's Awakening manga that came before any of the Akira Himekawa stuff; it would be nice to see that get an official translation.
Awesomeness.
Awesome, I can't wait to buy and support this manga. Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game and Midna is my favorite character in the series!
I may pick it up if it gets released outside of Japan.
@CB85
Is this comment meant to be a joke? If not, allow me to explain: Basically, you won't be getting two copies of every volume. Instead, these 'Legendary Editions' will be compilation manga so each book will contain 2 volumes of the manga as opposed to 1 volume. So in total there will be 5 'Legendary Edition' manga as opposed to 10 regular edition manga (e.g. LE1 will contain volumes 1&2 of the manga, LE2 will contain volumes 3&4 of the manga, etc.). Sorry if I haven't explained it very well.
