Nintendo Switch

It’s pretty easy to bag on Nintendo for the company’s near constant deluge of system updates, most of which are used solely to combat piracy in nearly invisible code updates that “enhance stability”. A web browser? eShop Music? Home Screen themes? Nonsense, Nintendo knows that what you need is more stability, but the latest system update does this and more.

Nintendo Switch Version 5.0.2 is now available for download, and it actually does something that the end user may find welcome. An issue with faulty motion controls in some games was addressed, as well as a bug where the user icons of some recommended friends wouldn’t display properly. All of that pales in comparison, of course, to the one and only feature that justifies yet another one of these articles: Nintendo has deployed the latest version of its famed stability to the console, and boy does it make that Switch feel solid.

What do you think? Did you notice any motion control issues before this? When do you think the company will start adding features to the OS? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
