You guys are gonna replay games just cuz of a new analog pad thing? Maybe I'm just weird....

Of course! It will be a totally new experience playing games such as Super Mario 64 DS without that D-Pad destroying our thumbs.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Just 4 days to go and my willpower for holding off of Okamiden until 3DS launch is still going strong!

I just ordered Super Mario 64 DS off of amazon today and I hope to have the 3DS by the time the website I requested it through accepts my prize request and mails the game to me.

This makes the third time I'm paying for Super Mario 64 DS; the first two times, I bought them at Gamestop.

An obvious choice is Mario 64 DS, it's a really neat remake that ends up being almost unplayable because of the controls. I also wonder how much it will improve the Kingdom Hearts games, those were always awkward to control with a d-pad.

Currently Playing:
Zelda II: Adventure of Link

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, Super Mario 64, Megaman Starforce 2: Zerker X Ninja, and Digimon World Dawn.

To me, the controls were a slight bother, but it didn't make the game almost unplayable. The cicle pad will fix all my grievances, though!

True but still, IMO its not really the controls that define the game, its the gameplay and story. I may play a few minutes on some old games, but I don't think its worth it to play through an entire game again just because of a little circle pad.

Pokemon Mystery dungeon. I will finally be able to move diagonally!

Holding down L (or maybe it was R? :/) in the game allows your character to only move in diagonals until you let go of the shoulder button.

I'm pretty okay.

You know Dragon Quest IX works pretty well with the circle pad. I couldn't see myself really getting into it with the D-Pad, but the circle is defiantly more natural.

Has anyone tried Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars on the 3DS yet? It's a game I've always been tempted by, but didn't own a DS/lite/i. I'm curious as to how it looks as well, since much of it is polgyons and apparently those look even better on the 3DS... any thoughts?

Super Mario 64 DS, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Pokémon White, and just about any other game where you can move a character in any direction 360° in the play environment (except for the DS Zelda games because they used the Touch Screen, not the Control Pad, but I might return to them anyways).

I'm back (for the moment)!

Found my copy of Mario 64 DS today literally 10 seconds before I placed an order for another one on Amazon. Something told me, "Go look through your DS game cases just to make sure" and sure enough, there it was, hiding out in my Spirit Tracks case. Glad to have saved that little chunk o'cash and to be able to play it with the circle pad tonight after work!

When I close my eyes, I see pixilated blood.

SM64 is kinda weird with the Circle pad today, but Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story is awesome.

Like Malkeor said, DQIX is also really good with the Circle pad.

I wonder if Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks will work?

No it won't. Both games were controlled entirely by the Touch Screen (except for a few menu buttons). On the original DS models, you couldn't use the Control Pad to move Link. Since the Circle Pad is a revamped Control Pad, it won't control Link, either. I'm sorry if I crushed any hopes.

I'm back (for the moment)!

I played kingdom hearts 358/2 days, which is bunch of PS2 nostalgia when played with the joy pad.
