Lucid dreaming ftw. It's pretty impressive if you can realize you're dreaming and go on dreaming and then do what you want without waking up. If you're interested in doing that or at the very least remembering your dreams then the first step is to keep a dream journal and write down every detail you can remember once you wake up.

I need to do this. I've yet to have a dream of flying through space- dodging asteroids and stuff...

I had two 3DS dreams. In the first, I had it for a small moment in which I used it as a wheel-stopper for a car with no brakes.
The second dream was much longer.
I was wondering around in a Costco-like store, holding a 3DS in my hands. I looked at it thinking "wow, is this for real? I'm holding the 3DS!". I opened it up, and found SSFIV and Dead or Alive pre-installed, which is strange, because I'm not interested in those games at all.
I tried out all of the special features, including internet. I also knew in my dream that it was the launch day for the 3DS.
That dream felt so real... I think that I did something in that dream to figure out whether I was asleep or not. I had convinced myself that everything was real, even the giant box filled with oranges.
Then I woke up.

That's why I frickin loved Inception... Pretty much everything that happened in that movie seemed plausible, and I could remember an instance of those things happening to me. i.e, dreams in dreams, getting killed wakes you up, time passing slowly, and controlling the dream.

It was awesome. I gotta watch it again.

On this topic, I have actually dreamt that I was doing something, then when I went back to bed and fell asleep in the dream, I woke up in real life. Creepy stuff.

But no, I surprisingly haven't dreamed of the 3DS.

Actually the only time I actually remember having a dream about a video game (besides my constant dreams set in Hyrule n_n) was of me playing the SMB theme on a grand piano in Wii Music. Bought it the next day, and was dissapoint

until of course I got more in depth with the game and realized its awesomeness

I dreamt not about the 3DS last night, but about an article posted on Destructoid about Solatorobo being brought finally here in Europe. A few minutes later, I was out in the street being shot, and when help arrived, I healed a bit, and said "I got better" Monty-Python-style... Aaahh! Fun times !

omg! Your unconscious mind must hate you. It keeps torturing you with awful scenarios.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

I've had two 3DS dreams myself. In the first, I attended a press event in Redmond with some friends and was mistakenly handed a red dev-kit (which I kept in my dreams). In the other, a gaming site's aqua-blue review system showed up on my doorstep and was never claimed (So I kept that one as well ).

However, even weirder than in my dreams, was a "DSj" sketch a friend showed me a few years ago at church camp. The layout and the specs he included were really close, (like 97% similar) to the 3DS design. (To this day he believes a Nintendo employee on vacation found his crumpled, discarded drawing and rushed it to nearby Redmond. )

I think the only reason we can't see the 3D in dreams on the 3DS is simply because we can't imagine how it will look. Like many people have said "You have to see it for yourself". But right now, the majority of us don't know at all how amazing it will look.

Currently playing:
3DS: KI: Uprising
Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles
"Heh, heh... Thanks... You're nice. Umm... Can I ask... a question? Your friends... What kind of... people are they? I wonder... Do these people... think of you...as a friend?"

My dreams have done that before...I was actually able to see the 3D effect.

That's exactly what I think. I guess the "seeing is believing" is important after all.

Well it happened. I had a dream about the 3DS last night. It was so glorious. I went to the store, picked it up along with Pilot Wings. Got home and...woke up.

Devastating.

Least you GOT home. For some reason, I arrived at the store by myself, and then suddenly, I'm with my dad doing errands and desperate to play my 3DS before I woke up. But no, it switched to a bizarre obstacle course that started with Pokemon Jirachi Wishmaker-like opening and reference, with a 'theme park' at the end with Jellyfish in large tanks that for some reason, I remembered in my dream replaced 'Metroids'. A reference to 'Retro Studios' and Universal Studios was there too, with people protesting or something in a large city where I can see a tall building with 'Retro Studios' in the evening (sky was really dark blue).

I get that sometimes: Dream Hopping. Least the theme park gave me an idea for a setting.

One of my weirdest quirks is that I seem to drift-off into a trance while I'm awake, nearly always at will, and live a small moment of my own life at the exact same time in another version of Earth. It's really weird, like my consciousness slips into the other me - I even feel what he feels! I figure my powerful imagination, coupled with a strong desire to visit alternate realities in which I happen to exist, must allow me to view the world from the other me's eyes, hear from the other me's ears, even experience games which don't exist in this universe! I actually got to play the unreleased Zelda Oracle game up until the first dungeon before snapping back into reality.
In it, you use objects called the 'Bells of Hours' in order to shift the world between morning, afternoon and night. You can only enter the first dungeon in the morning, and since the big baddie has bathed the land in perpetual night you need the bell which changes night into morning. I guess Capcom figured that a third time-based game was better than using a colour-changing system.
