Robo-goose commented on Rumour: This is Wii U's Controller Charging Dock:

Ha ha, the first thing that came to my mind after seeing this was the Nyko Powerpak+. Now I'm picturing my Wii U controller with one of those attached to it, which will probably happen shortly after the release of the Wii U.

Robo-goose commented on Iwata: "Animal Crossing 3DS Won't Rely on Add-...:

Animal Crossing is one of the easiest types of games to fall into the "You got the game, now buy what it's supposed to come with!" category. Whether it's buying extra bells, vanity items, rare furniture, or special guests, Animal Crossing is something that would have suffered greatly from that kind of approach. Good on you, Nintendo.

Robo-goose commented on New Trainers and Town in Pokémon Black & White 2:

Now that's cool. Continueing the story of Pokemon Black and White instead of retelling it.
Come to think of it, they did kind of leave a little cliff hanger with N at the end, then there were various interesting things that people said thorught the game that hinted to the location of N.

Robo-goose commented on Five Glorious Minutes of Fire Emblem: Awakenin...:

Dang, they sure do know how to please fans on this one. I'm not sure how much I like the synthesizer they're using this time around, but it was great to hear the nostalgia enducing song "Like Father Like Son" from FE9 start around 3:20.

@starwolf_uk
I can't tell you how many times I replay a Fire Emblem game to read the support conversations I missed.

Robo-goose commented on Fire Emblem 3DS Europe-Bound in 2012:

This just made my day! If Fire Emblem Awakening is coming out in Europe, it's definitely coming out in America! Also, that DLC sounds interesting; knowing Intelligent Systems, they'll probably be adding extra maps that look into the stories of various characters.

You may want to change your original comment.
Being the first reply to this article, it's the first thing people will read, and not everyone reads this far into the comments, so many people may walk away from this believing that you have to pay for the map feature.

Robo-goose commented on Review: Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword (3DSW...:

Guys, get this game.
It's really fun, and has a great price. Normally you wouldn't like to be fighting the same enemies over and over again, but this game is different, every single slash feels satisfying, once you kill an enemy, all you want to do is kill another one.
The environments are all the same, but that's not what you're paying attention to, either. Your entire mind is focused on one thing: killing people!
Forget the Princess, I just wanna see people die by my blade!

Robo-goose commented on New Rhythm Heaven Fever Trailer Makes No Sense:

@20 LockStep was my favorite one, but I agree that I don't want to see another one. My reason, however, is because I want to see new games just as awesome as LockStep, not new versions of it. I want more games to love just as much, and from what I've seen from RHF, I will not be disappointed in any way at all.
Really looking forward to this game!

Robo-goose commented on Mutant Mudds OST Tracks Now Available:

This deserves my money. They put a lot of work into this music, and dangit! I wanna pay them for it!
Seriously, I'm spending more money on the soundtrack then I am for the game! I only listened to the first four songs so I can hear the rest of them for the first time when I play the game, and I like what I heard. They deserve the cash for a job well done!

"If there are less than 6 players in the game, CPU players will round out the remaining slots."
Augh, I see that Sakurai still hasn't learned from all of Brawl's mistakes.
Aside from lag, the most annoying thing in Brawl's online play is expecting to have an awesome duel with some random dude when suddenly two computers are thrown in the fight.
Other than that, everything else about this game looks amazing! I can barely wait to have this in my 3DS.

Robo-goose commented on Rising Star Games Commits to 3DS with Five Gam...:

Harvest Moon 3D: A Tale of Two Towns makes the worst use of 3D that I have ever seen on a 3DS game so far. Good thing its gameplay is enjoyable enough to offset the complete waste of the 3DS's capabilities.
I guess that's to be expected of a last minute port of a DS game to the 3DS.

Robo-goose commented on Review: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (3DS Vi...:

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones is a great example of a game where the developers decided to do something different, and it worked out amazingly well. Being able to go fight in little skirmishes, or making your way through the Tower of Valni (and something else which I won't spoil) adds the ability to train as many people as you want, rather than having to stick to a select few. Also, it stars my favorite main character in the Fire Emblem series: Ephraim.
As far as story goes, I really enjoy all the dialogue. I find myself playing through a Fire Emblem game not only to advance my units, but to find out what happens in the story, and thanks to all the conversations, all of the story is told, and told incredibly well.
The dialogue also lets you know a lot more about the characters you're using in battle, it makes you care more about your people, you feel as though your army is made up of interesting people, not mindless zombies.
Having the world map also disguises the game to make it seem a lot less linear, and it does a great job at it, too.
A lot of good things can be said about this game, and your review covered a good number of them. This game does have its down sides, though, but with how much good is in the game, they really don't matter.
Awesome game, awesome review. It's a good day to play Fire Emblem.

Robo-goose commented on Konami Dissolving Hudson Soft:

Ah... Bomberman was my childhood hero. I liked him way more than Mario and Sonic. That was also back when Sega was making GOOD Sonic games without all those unnecessary there-to-be-there characters.

Robo-goose commented on Millions of Wii Games Pirated in 2011:

I wonder how many of these pirates bought the game, then pirated it so they could have the games in HD on their PCs.
I'm sure that number is MUCH lower than the amount of people who just pirated it without paying for it, but it's an interesting thought.

Keep on writing, dude! Your reviews always seem to be spot on, and I don't think that's going to change any time soon.

Robo-goose commented on Review: Nintendo Letter Box (3DSWare):

Would be nice to have more "ink", and to be able to reply to replies.
Other than that, I have a ton of fun sending little comics to buddies, and being able to spend my playcoins on something makes me happy.
7/10 is definitely the score I would give.
