I knew I should have explained the joke...

the look of the background...er...foreground at times screams Lost Winds for me, especially the pic with the old sprites.

OMG, just update the very outdated title already, please XD!

Looking forward to this, even if the 3D backgrounds feel a bit different compared to the traditional 2D ones. Still, it'll be interesting to play with the traditional sprites.

Just hope they'll give us a good chunk of extra content, as I also have Cave Story for WiiWare.

Yes, the title of this thread smacks me with the reminder of the horrible disappointment that Cave Story is no nearly to be release that it was when this thread was opened. T_T
