That'd be awesome. SART was better than both Mario Kart 7 and Wii, it also takes more skill since it doesn't use the dreadful rubber-band AI. I wouldn't mind Sonic characters in Mario Kart or vice versa.

I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject. But from what I've read there are supposed to be about 40 playable characters. 20 Pair-Units (a pair of characters) and 20 Solo-Units (individual characters ). The solo-units can be paired together with the pair-units, so essentially you have three characters to play around with whereas two of those are a pair and one is solo.

I don't think relationships between characters are as important as it is in FE:A though.

This looks brilliant. Day one buy for me!

It's a Strategy RPG game. The overworld layout is like in the Fire Emblem series, where you get to make chess-like moves and use strategic placements with your characters. The fighting sequences that are shown in every video is just the combat system.

Love the music levels. The one in the demo/app is so much fun! Looks great.

Watch Dogs looks a lot more interesting IMO. GTA as a franchise has gone downhill since Vice City.

Could very well be a Metroid game. Back in 09 they said they were done with the Metroid franchise but also that they may eventually return to Metroid. Since that was 4 years ago, they could have picked up the franchise again.

That sucks. Would be a nice option for save file backups.

And I agree. I doubt it's Mario, I'm pretty sure Iwata even said that their EAD Team behind 3D Land and Galaxy 1/2 is working on the next Mario title. We also know it's not Zelda, since Miyamoto confirmed that. I'm really curios!

Capcom has already developed two Zelda titles. So third party developed first party games aren't unlikely.

Also, RETRO Studios is a first Nintendo party studio.

The style looks absolutely amazing. Hopefully they can match the style with great gameplay.. But considering its main platform is the IPad, I'm afraid the gameplay will be very shallow and forgettable, like all iOS games.

Why does it have to be Prime? That should stay a trilogy IMO.

I'd rather have them continue on Hunters, adding multiplayer to the FPS Metroid games. They could make a new Metroid trilogy from there with its own story and characters.

Wouldn't it be better for some other company than RETRO to work on a game like that? Would seem like somewhat of a waste to make a 2D platformer with game designers from Vigil, Crytek and Naughty Dog joining in IMO.

All of those are companies known for great/amazing looking 3D titles.

Might be a good choice. E3 is mainly got stakeholders & inside press, not gamers or the general public. Seeing as their latest conferences have made their stock go down this might be a smart move.

That's good. Hopefully it'll get a better design than the Pikachu and Charizard one. They can't seem to get a good PKMN designed 3DSXL.

Looks pretty ugly IMO.

I'd rather have the Year of Luigi themed 3DSXL, I rally hope that makes it to EU.

Since I assume you missed the actual announcement, here you go:

Also, I don't get the complaint. No More Heroes 2 didn't feel like a remake of No More Heroes 1, yet it took place in the same overworld and had the same enemies and reused some bosses. This is going to be amazing!

Fist of, it's not a new look. Just based around the original artwork for A Link to the Past, this is what ALttP should have looked like but couldn't due to the limitations of the hardware.

Second, Nintendo stated that they wanted to release a original Zelda title before making more remakes. So after the release of this game, there's definitely hope for a Majoras Mask 3D game.

Last year they had to split the WiiU announcements and 3DS announcements in to two different conferences, whereas the 3DS got a smaller conference the day after the big E3 conference that focused on WiiU.

E3 2013 will most likely be all about WiiU.

I almost got a heart attack as soon as I saw this! Then I almost died once I realized it wasn't a remake, but a sequel to my favorite Zelda game ever!

Wow!.. Just wow! This is going to be the best Zelda in ages. Releasing this year as well, can't wait to play it!

Been expecting this since OOT 3D. But I believe they said there would be an original 3DS Zelda game released before another re-make. So I'm not so sure this is legit, unless we're getting a new one this year as well.

Love the design, but I would have liked it more if it was a new Pokemon. I was hoping that Team Rocked had picked up and improved on the failed 'Mewtwo' experiment and created this new Mewtwo-like thing.

It's somewhat disappointing to hear its just a new form.
