Re: You Won't Be Able To Download L.A. Noire Without A MicroSD Card

It's not as if it can't be made smaller (examples Zelda:BotW 13.4Gb, MK8 7.0Gb, Super Mario Odyssey 5.7Gb), the problem is that these games are designed for disc/HDD consoles, you can't just "compress" them. They need to be designed from the ground up to get small download sizes.

Re: Prima Has a Super Mario Odyssey Guide on the Way

@Tasuki Why? Well, the information is laid out better, I find it more accessible than having to load up whatever device you are surfing on, people like "things", either to collect or because they just look nice. Oh, and it smells good as well

Just hope it's full size. The MK8D one was half the usual size. Felt a bit conned when that dropped through the letterbox.

Re: Analysts Expect Nintendo Switch Hybrid to End 'Two-Punch Strategy'

Yeah, I can definitely see a slimmed down Switch appearing in a couple of years. 720p screen but maybe smaller for battery life and a better pocket fit. Maybe attached Joycons for price savings and better ergonomics. Which will of course play all the Switch games avaialble now and in the future. The Switch IS the 3DS successor. Would be crazy to bring out another, separate system.

Re: The eBay Scalpers Are At It Already With The Super NES Classic Edition

@BenAV
It is quite hard actually. If you're a more casual gamer, chances are you won't have heard about this until now. If that. By which time they have all gone. I consider myself pretty clued up. I knew what day the Fire Emblem Fates 3-game SE was coming out, and I still didn't get a pre-order in on time. I only hope they make enough of these so that the scalpers are sitting on stock that will make them a loss.

Re: Advance Wars Producer Doesn't Have A Clear Idea For New Entry

Advance Wars is basically a series of small chess battles making up a campaign. I think if they gave us, say, 3 campaigns, improved the AI so you could have different difficulty settings, included a level design tool, and buffed up the graphics to HD, they'd have a winner on their hands. Wouldn't cost that much to develop either.
