Japanese developers should isolate themselves from the western world to keep from catching whatever mental illness is spreading around. I doubt any of these people upset on twitter will have bought or played the game.

Other than an arbitrary cutoff date, I don't know why anyone buys new consoles anymore. We are forced to purchase new hardware. Are these new innovative games being made? They are not. This entire industry is a great shame in 2020.

@Xansies My main point, which I guess I failed to make, was they should focus on games. Hardware should always be a distant second. Had they stuck with the WiiU for awhile longer I would have lived with it. Joining the death spiral that Sony and Microsoft are on isn't where I want to be. Might as well do nothing but PC game at that point.

@Xansies Using whatever new graphical effect then saying hey COD14 can't be done on previous generation hardware is disingenuous and silly.

@Alerif @Xansies Your argument is Switch VS Switch Lite. They're talking about using a different processor. I look at games made on PS4 and XBONE and ask myself are most of these possible without sacrificing game play on previous generation hardware. The answer is yes.

Incremental upgrades are dumb. Leave the Pro circus to Sony and Microsoft please.

Releasing this game would be like killing ten people with a van all over again. Glad to hear they've scraped the project.

I make almost all of my money reselling old games to new hardware because, to be quite honest, I have stopped making new games. Please do not back up your games or I will be out on the street wondering why.

It would be nice to see ports, but some of us are wondering when Treasure will release a new game. Perhaps Nintendo could be persuaded to fund it.

Sammy sounds familiar like those previous century "arcades" is it? I would love to see Square Enix make a new Sonic. What is an AM Team?

Nintendo might as well bypass all of the stupid things Microsoft and Sony do and go straight to Steam if they want to have more powerful hardware. This is beside the point that Digital Foundry is peeing in the wind.
