@WaveyChristmas I have an old XL and a standard size n3DS.
I don't get the 6th brightness level on my XL either, but the n3DS looks brighter on 5 than the XL.
I tried on/off charger and with or without power saving on both an old XL and a small n3DS, neither showed any brightness changes.

@WaveyChristmas it takes less than half a second to restore proper 3D, and only if you tilt your head so far it's impossible for the camera to see both your eyes.

this behaviour is unavoidable with any eye tracking 3D, and is hardly an issue because it takes as long as that to find the sweetspot again with ss3d off.

@chiefeagle02 youtube app is the same waste of space as on the original 3DS.
the website works far better, with HQ and 3D support.

another nice thing they skipped:
i just watched this video through the nintendolife website on my n3DS, while i have a game suspended in the background.

yes, you can pause your game and watch a video walkthrough on your n3DS to see how to continue.

the info about hordes isn't exactly accurate.
hordes work like double battles, most attacks target only 1 opponent but large attacks like surf, razor leaf, and earthquake hit all opponents.
a fun detail about hordes is that if rival pokemon appear together in 1 horde they will fight among themselves too(like a seviper among zangoose)

i'm a bit annoyed that i can't use my sitting duck or flying sword in sky battles.
they can both fly.

pikachu is rare, and can be caught in viridian forest, just like in R/B/Y(not the real name, but when you get there you'll understand why i call it that)

Re: Luxor

I just got it, but they could just as well have released it as DSiWare.
it doesn't support 3D or widescreen.
the entire game runs in 2D mode, graphics are nowhere near as good as the psp luxor, everything is tiny, and there are 40 pixel wide pillars on the screen at all times, effectively making the width of the main game screen the same as that of the bottom screen.
oh and the controls feel awkward.
move: circle pad/touch screen
shoot: L/R
swap colors: every other button
this while all previous handheld luxor games had the confirm button(cross/A) for shooting and the cancel button(circle/B) for swapping colors, and you can no longer move with buttons.

Re: Luxor

yet again they silently delay this game.
there's absolutely no news about the eshop release, and the retail release seems to have been pushed back to September.
