Well, now that all is well, I can finally spend my eShop cards, haha! ...gave me an awful time downloading Resident Evil Revelations yesterday, though; ened up taking six hours!

@boynerdrambling: Except for people like me, who are actually trying to use the eShop today... I've spent around six hours trying to download Resident Evil Revelations, and it's just now almost finished...

Just got this message:
"We sincerely apologize, but in an effort to manage the high traffic, and ultimately improve the consumer experience, we are temporarily taking the Nintendo eShop services offline in your region."
so... it's back offline.

Awesome! I've entered~ probably won't win though... but I hope I do!

Interesting that Donkey Kong Jr. is used to set all these world records, haha!

Apparently it's "available at your local retailer"... lol

Now 8:23 PST and 3DS eShop maintenance is still going... according to Nintendo, though, the Wii U should be up and running just fine now...

I wonder how long the 3DS eShop maintenance will go for? It started at 5:30 PST...and it's now 7:47...

Just got a message that the "eShop is undergoing maintenance", so that's good! Looks like they're finally fixing it!

Since Miiverse is working now, I think that's a good sign. And apparently some people are managing to get in - I'm gonna try again here in a few minutes...

OK so I just got ALBW today... that gets Game of the Year for me by far! ...60 FPS does wonders...

No way I can memorize any of that... Japanese still looks like absolute gibberish to me, haha.

When the Wii U was first revealed, this was one of the first things they showed - playing golf with the gamepad on the floor like that - and I always thought that looked really cool! And now it actually exists!

@JtotheY: Haha yeah, I always thought 200cc (or even 250cc) would be awesome, haha! The Mirror cup kinda fills the role already as the "extra challenge" cup, but it's still only 150cc.

Hmm! Sounds rather nice, actually... the DSiWare ones always sounded (and looked) rather humdrum, but this has me intrigued! I may have to check this out~

@kupo @Moshugan I always have much more fun playing with real people than with computer players in Mario Kart... mostly because I find the AI way too easy! Playing with real people gives much more of a challenge - people are obviously much craftier and make much better use of items than computer players. At least they've made the AI start taking shortcuts so that I don't feel so cheap using them when playing solo, haha!

I love when you have direct control over the horn, haha! They had that in Mario Kart Super Circuit and it was pretty neat, haha!
In Mario Kart 7 the horn just goes off when you get bumped by someone else.

@LetsGoRetro Just gonna say, I'm 17 years old and I love bright, glossy, fun, cute stuff! Kirby especially. I even have a Kirby T-Shirt! :3

@SavoirFaire A Rosalina game would be interesting! I'm a big fan of Rosalina so I'd be really happy to see her star in her own game rather than always being an extra character~

It was definitely the highlight of my week!

I imagine quick little "flash game" type experiences; the sort that'd get people interested in buying Nintendo games.

...I guess I'm the only one here who just blindly enjoys Yoshi's Island games, lol. ...I also blindly enjoy Kirby games too, haha!

Rosalina is one of my favorite Nintendo characters!!!
Any game that gives me a chance to play as her is a good game!!!

Wednesday is "Animal Crossing Day" for me (and sometimes Saturday, too)! I love checking up on my town and seeing how everyone's doing, and making some bells~
