@Uberchu Yes, they're the Platinum rewards! I live in Oregon, though, so Club Nintendo rewards get to me the day after they're shipped (NoA is in Washington).

@K-Gamer: The characters are definitely CGI, the background might be a real photograph, though.

@rjejr: I always thought things like the GameBoy Player and the Super GameBoy were cool, I'd totally go for something like that on Wii U! ...the only issue would be for games that require being held sideways (like the giant battles in Mario & Luigi Dream Team)... that would cause issues... the way around that would be to have the option to use a 3DS as the controller (which they did with the GameCube's GameBoy Player). It'd be perfect then!

Started seeing screenshots of this on MiiVerse, and as a fan of scrolling shooters this looks fantastic! I really want this and 3D Sonic the Hedgehog... but I'm waiting to see how much money/what I get after Christmas... so I gotta wait...

Re: Video: This New Kirby: Triple Deluxe Footage is Rather Marvellous

@Thats-what-she 240p is GLORIOUS indeed.

@CountWavula: I will admit Kirby games aren't the hardest games I've ever played (with the exception of Kirby mass Attack, that game managed to get pretty hard), but I have more fun and unique experiences with Kirby games than anything else. Kirby appeals to me far more than any other game franchise - it's like it was designed for me! I love all the character designs (especially the downright frightening final bosses) and the worlds and collecting and the interesting new gaming ideas they always like to try out (Mass Attack being a good example again). I love Kirby so much! For me, at least, it is the best game series out there.

@Discostew Yep! I remember reading about it in Nintendo Power years ago, it remains one of my favorite video game stories, ever. Still not as good as the origin of Chain Chomp, though:
It comes from a childhood memory of Miyamoto's; he was walking to school as a kid when a bulldog leaped up towards him, teeth bared, but at the last second it was pulled back by its chain! and thus we have the Chain Chomp.
