So I'm having a horribly awful time trying to download RE:R... it has nothing to do with the Nintendo Network issues (as those seem to have been resolved, anyway), I just always have these problems; and with this it's worse because it's the biggest thing I've ever downloaded! So, if I choose Download Now, it goes just fine for awhile, and then... it seems to just "give up"; the little things at the top (the ones that usually drop the little colored squares) all show up empty... so at that point I choose "Download Later". The first time I did this, it made it to 22%... and then got stuck. Now it can't get past 3-6% with download later. What should I do?
@Gioku I got a few guesses: 1: Your Internet is slow so its taking a longer time 2: The download space for RE:R is big so its gonna take a long time to download 3: Eshop is still acting crazy so you're better off waiting until later

That's fine, they don't actually show the download speed so I'd just let it get on with it or just put it in sleep mode download so you can't see (and therefore worry) about it download rate.
Yeah, so it's been (supposedly) downloading in sleep mode since I started this thread... hasn't gotten past 3%.
I dunno what to do! Like I said, this always happens whenever I download anything; but this is like 10 times worse since the game is so huge!
@The-Wind-Pikpik: I figured it would probably take about that long... it's just that it keeps getting stuck! D:
...so I just left it on "download now" for awhile; picked it back up after a bit and there was an error message sitting there waiting for me...
...so now I have to start over...
EDIT: well that's weird... so I started over, and it said 0 blocks were required... and my total was already down to what it will be when it has downloaded... weird... I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not, but... we'll see I guess! Anyway, I went straight to "download later" this time; hopefully it'll download all the way this time!
When I downloaded RE:R, I put my 3DS in sleep mode and went to bed knowing it would take extremely lonnngg to download. Then woke up and started playing!
OK so it is steadily downloading... very slowly, but steadily.
...I'll go do some other stuff (like play Left 4 Dead 2 that I got for free :3), and check back on it later.
EDIT: Well nevermind; it's now been stuck at 10% for about half an hour... D:
ARGH! Stuck at 10% for 40 minutes... I don't know what to do! At this point I'm afraid to start over again... but on the other hand I don't know if it will ever get past 10%!
.... it happened to me with MH3U. it was on 40%(download later) then I reset my 3DS and it started working.

see if there are still remnants of a failed download and try deleting anything first. then do a download later instead of starting to download it and then switching. then make sure you close the eshop completely, not just press home. leave it in sleep mode plugged in overnight and see if that helps. otherwise call nintendo.
Oh, and on a side note, I wondered why it didn't ask for my age when I went to download it like it usually does. And then I realized what the age limit for M-rated games was:
It's "17+", and I'm now 17! How 'bout that? Haha!
So I am now actually old enough to buy and play M-rated games... although I have played M-rated games before I was 17 (this is actually the first M-rated game I've ever actually owned, though!)
Ugh. Well, anyway, I just checked on it, and... 15%.

it seems that after the NNID update it gets your age from your NNID. it used to ask my age on the Eshop all the time(didn't but M games on the Eshop yet but it used to ask me all the time when looking in M game pages)

Wait a second! It seems to be picking up speed! Made it up to 20% already! My fingers are crossed that it'll keep going! Wish me luck guys! (I'm going to really appreciate this game once it finally downloads, hahaha!)
@Gioku let's play when you download it and unlock raid mode(takes a while to get it) I'm terrible at it but it's fun.
