Thanks for giving me a super good reason to wait for a revamped version with better battery life. That's far more important to me than being in the first wave of users.
Waiting for the Switch 2 wouldn't have solved my problems with Sparks, the most disappointing sequel I have ever played.
The original had tightly constructed levels, and Sparks missed the boat on that. Plus, when you advertise, say, a hundred Sparks, but they're really just flavors of five different kinds, you only have 20 Sparks and five different ways to apply them. A little deceptive and disappointing.
I would have rather had just had the exact mechanics of the original, maybe with a couple extra characters, not a Poochie like Edge, and lots of well constructed tactical levels.
Mario + Rabbids is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. And I am very old.
Turn bass strategy that doesn't require to keyboard. And not even, it would be better with a keyboard like XCOM or Baldur's Gate 3. It's really designed for the controller. And it works soooo well.
The Sparks sequel, however, is one of the worst. Avoid.
@BulbasaurusRex Beautiful game, but the controls are sometimes unresponsive and kind of sluggish. Some actions delay during character actions which have lots of frames that are beautiful, but struggle on this platform. That's why I thought it might be better on a newer system.
Glad you like the original, hope you like the new.
@PurpulTyeDye Granting RT is just an aggregate of movie reviewers, Deadpool and wolverine has a rotten tomatoes of like 75, Titanic almost 90, and this movie has a rotten tomatoes of 7.
Seven.
I would like to suggest that the expectations of things that you are "sure" of could use refinement. In other words, you are so wrong.
@Kestrel So they deserve to lose their money? You're annoyed and I you're the most important thing in the universe, and I get that, but can they simply have their money back? Jeez.
I got quickly bored with the last DLC and didn't even bother to complete it. It's not just that Sparks is so inferior to the original. It's just that it was very boring. Oh my goodness please let this last DLC be okay so I can squeeze out some value from this waste of money. Sparks are dumb. Why couldn't they make better puzzles this time...
I think we have pretty much the exact same outlook on these two games. Let's just put it this way, I played through the first one and its DLC twice and loved both it both times. The second one felt like a chore. And the map suuuuuucks.
The battles were way too easy, the Sparks made the players way too overpowered, and there was no complexity to the battles in the second game. You could win them all in one or two turns.
The skill tree is awful. You can only fill up maybe one column, so it's really disappointing to have all these skills that you can never use. It was not like that in the first game. You could just about max everything in time. And that was fun.
And then there's Edge. Oh, Edge. "Poochie's dead!"
The first game is probably my favorite game on the switch so far. It just really is something I enjoy even though I'm not a Mario or rabbids fan. At all.
The new game is nowhere near as good. That said, I am pretty addicted to finishing it right now.
And I was stuck slightly off screen every time I loaded a stage just as described in the update notes. I happened to relaunch the program, got the update, and immediately was unstuck!

Re: Terminator 2D: No Fate Trailer Dives Into How You Can Change Key Movie Scenes
The second half of the original movie isn't very good, so maybe this will make it better!
Re: Tony Hawk Reiterates Decisions Behind Song Choices In Pro Skater 3 + 4
@ILIKECARGAME dead milkmen, Gang Starr , RunDmC, de la soul, x-ray spex, gang of four
I guess there's six. There were a couple other bands I might like but with songs I don't like.
Re: Tony Hawk Reiterates Decisions Behind Song Choices In Pro Skater 3 + 4
There are only three good songs anyway so I don't care. I always use my own soundtrack instead of what I think is mostly just garbage.
It's inconvenient, but no different than what I'm used to.

Price isn't familiar. That's new at least
Re: Poll: Which Starter Pokémon Will You Choose In Legends: Z-A?
As an inexperienced Pokemoner, I don't understand why it makes a difference if the starters are from Gen 1 or 2 or whatever.
Could someone explain why some people don't want two starters from the same Gen?
Thank you!

I just felt that my money was wasted on Sparks.
Re: Mario + Rabbids Director Recalls "Fantastic" Time With Nintendo, Would Be Open To Collab Again
Kingdom Battles is one of the best games I have ever played. I probably played through at least three times, including the DLC.
Sparks was crap. I never felt a compulsion to finish the game. Booooooo.

Re: Mario + Rabbids Director Davide Soliani Launches New Studio, Working On Original IP
Is this the guy you got me so pumped up for Sparks that I actually pre-ordered the game and I hate it and never finished it?
Hey, that's totally my fault. A risk that I decided to take on my own.
But that doesn't mean I can't hold a grudge.
