Re: Gallery: Let's Take a Look at the Nintendo Switch

It looks super sleek, the gimmick is actually awesome and differentiates it from the other consoles in a very clever way. People can still play it like a normal console with a normal controller, or on the go with a (assuming) normal controller, or on the go/couch with joycon. It's like what Iwata said; Wii U swallowed by Switch (with help from Kirby) and out comes a really nice hybrid machine. This is perfect for me, for my family... my friends... impromtu multiplayer anywhere.

Just hoping it will get lots of third party support. This could be a return to form for Ninty.

Re: Minecraft Wii U Edition Has Been Rated By PEGI

It might be late, but it's a good sign for Nintendos future I think. Minecraft might be a fad, but in the end having it on the Wii U is a positive thing I think. For those who champion the PC-version (which is indeed better) and forget the console versions; the console versions support 4-player splitscreen gaming which is great for families. I play Minecraft with my daughter on my ps3 - when I play with friends I'll play the PC-version.

Used to play this at a theme park about one hours drive from my home. It was the sitdown version, some type of chair + helicopter controls. If I remember correctly the chair would swivel as well. Played that game sooo much. Might try it again on my 3DS

Re: Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition Confirmed for Wii U and 3DS

One of my favorite Amiga-games of all time. I used to play this so much back in the day. Recently I have been playing the enhanced version for my iphone/ipad and it looks stunning with the graphical overhaul BUT the controls are sluggish. So I applaud porting this to consoles with real buttons. I will probably get the Wii U version over the 3DS. In the smartphone-version you could swipe between the original gfx and the enhanced.

Some said you can rush through the game rather quickly, which is true, but it won't happen on your first playthrough of it. It really is a step into Another World.

So freakin' hard to pick. So many awesome gaming experiences this year. 3D world, ALBW, Pikmin 3, Ye New Wind Waker HD, New Leaf, Wonderful 101, Need For Speed - gaaah. I purchased my Wii U late (early july) and my 3DS was the ALBW bundle; but I have had a hard time keeping up with all the awesome games. Games that focus on gameplay and control. I can't wait for 2014.

Re: Nintendo Download: 12th December (North America)

I find this odd. I remember how things were here in Sweden growing up; games would be released years after JP and US. Now some releases actually come out in EU first. I kinda understand disc/card games, but digital games. They should be the same for every "region", and more of them. Get up to speed Ninty. Nowadays there are no regions when it comes to digital - there is one huge - it's called the internet.

Re: Nintendo Has A "Continuing Relationship" With Minecraft Studio Mojang

I have played Minecraft on PC since it went beta. I have played many many hours. I have the 360 version and it isn't as fun because of the UI. Minecraft would be a perfect fit for the gamepad. As people have mentioned; crafting, map and hotkeys. Voice chat, text chat on the pad etc. I really hope Nintendo will reach out to Mojang.
